"Internet did not work in room-staff said because it was too busy but it did work in the lobby. Room paint badly peeling behind curtain on wall under window from window condensation, smelt a little of damp. Staff very helpful and friendly; bedding clean, bathroom clean.  Overall OK, but overpriced, poor value for money. "

"Best hotel we stayed since our Taiwan trip. Was upgraded to a huge room and it exceeded our expectation. Every things was explained to us patiently during our check in. It was all within walking distance to 2nd market, Miyahara and night market. Will definitely stay again in Taichung if we ever return."

"Difficult to find at night. There's no signage outside that says ”Mulan” and there is no front door or desk. Instead, you walk up a driveway to find the office which resembles a guard shack. You must also let them know every time you return so that they can open the garage door to your unit, allowing you access to your room door. The room was very impressive. Huge and very luxurious. It's a lot space to clean, so I was not surprised that it wasn't spotless, but it was fine. The fish (minnow) pond was very tiny and barely noticeable in the corner of the bathroom. Lights cannot be controlled individually, instead there are set ”scenes” that you must toggle through. Some features in the room were simply not functional (i.e. the Music controls on the bedside table and some of the jacuzzi controls. The breakfast was a mixture of Mcdonald's-type food and traditional ********* breakfast. During my stay, the smoke alarm in the garage was low on battery and chirped all night. I told the staff the next day and instead of replacing the battery they simply removed it, however I could still hear chirping smoke alarms in other adjacent units. Overall it is a great value for the price, despite the few inconveniences."

"First time business trip in Taichung. This hotel is close to the train station, however not the high speed rail station so do not get mistaken if you take HSR from Taipei or Taoyuan. Hotel is pretty new and room is spacious. Generally good facilities. Nearby pretty busy area with quite some restaurants but a lot a full during dinner time with long lines."

"This was, without a doubt, the best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Taiwan. For context, I also visited other cities like Taipei and Kaohsiung, but this hotel in Taichung stood out above the rest. The location was absolutely perfect, very close to the Taichung Railway Station, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. We arrived way too early, around 8:00 a.m., but we were immediately greeted by smiling staff who were so welcoming. They kindly helped us with our luggage for safekeeping, something we truly appreciated. They gave us proper luggage tags, and our bags were placed in an area right next to the staff for monitoring, which gave us great peace of mind. We also asked for directions to some places we wanted to visit, and they went above and beyond by printing out a hard copy of the route for us. This was my first time experiencing such thoughtful service, and it made a huge difference. We headed out, explored a few spots, and returned later in the afternoon for check-in. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations since it was a budget hotel but oh boy, was I impressed. The room was spotless and smelled wonderfully fresh, like it had just been thoroughly cleaned. Aside from the usual complimentary coffee and tea, they even surprised us with free Doritos and Biscoff biscuits, which was such a nice touch. The bathroom was also incredibly clean. We slept really well. Breakfast the next morning was good, with a nice variety. Although the selection was limited, everything tasted great, and they even offered a takeaway option, which was perfect for guests on the go. The next day’s breakfast was even better, they didn't repeat the same items, which showed real attention to detail and care for their guests. Even upon check-out, the staff remained warm and friendly, always smiling. What stood out most was that even the cleaners greeted us with a smile every time they saw us in the hallway. It’s that kind of genuine hospitality that turns a simple stay into a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taichung!"

"There were many hotels at Chaofu road because I wanted to stay somewhere near the shopping malls like ShinKong Mitsushita and The Lin would be the best option. I highly recommend this hotel because breakfast has a good spread, the team was excellent, helpful and they tried their best in their every way! Thank you especially to Donny; Amber and the team at front desk; they’re are all heaven sent! The room I’ve stayed at was luxurious!! Everything was memorable for me♥️🙏🏻✨ Thank you The Lin!! "Right outside a bus stop which we took number 19 to visit Western Palace. Plus we transferred to 9018 all the way to Lukang old town from the Museum of Dinosaurs and Botanical garden. All a walking distance to 7-11 and nearby has restaurants. Room is alright for us. Bathroom is clean. There is a laundry room at 5th floor, both wash and dry are 50 dollars each. We are very pleased with this location and hotel quietness. Nice n comfy."

"O hotel está localizado a 10 minutos de carro Da estação de serviço de resistência à travessia Da Taichung. Contudo, enquanto FOI anunciado que o hotel está perto do Mercado de Noite de Feng Chia, não estava tão perto de tudo. Foi Cerca de 15-20 minutos a pé de uma estação. As principais atrações que visitamos durante esta viagem também estavam principalmente localizados perto da estação TRA, mas o pessoal é geralmente bastante útil e atento, ajudando-nos a chamar cabinas em muitas ocasiões. A sala também era decente e confortável.Só abaixo para nós era a localização.De outra forma, ficaria agradável."
