"Staffs are friendly, and helpfull. However, the room didnt clean properly. We asked to make up our room in the morning, and when we came back to our room in the evening, we found that the bed did not tidy up, the bed sheet never change, and the blanket and pillows position still same like in the morning when we left the room, look like they never touch the bed at all."

"The stay was good, rooms were spacious, cozy and clean. The first impression from the front desk agent was a little disappointing. They don't seem welcoming. The hotel looks grand but the front desk agent were cold and distant. Breakfast spread was good as there were many choices. Kids playground was decent, clean and spacious. Laundry system was a little wonky, you had to pay way more for the stipulated operation time for the cleaning and drying. Overall it was a satisfactory stay."

"I stayed there and the environment is clean and the rooms are big. But the mattress is a little bit not good . I requested the hotel to change the mattress. Highly recommend this hotel"

"It belongs to the standard business hotel… the room is spacious and clean and well maintained…however, i have issues with the bathroom flush and the shower head / tap switch… which took me sometime to figure them out… There is a lobby bar on the first floor where we can wait and drink machine made coffee…..the gym and laundry room is located at B1… there should have better indications of how to open the gym door and lobby bar door… sometimes there is no one to aak about how to go in… maybe the washing machine needs to change the rubber rims cos of accumulated dark spots… but it’s free so i am not really complaining… The hotel has excellent front desk and housekeeping staff…. Special thanks to Cindy Lai who went the extra miles to find out the rates for taxi chartering… sorry that we did not take it up in the end though we thought it’s a good idea… grateful that we took the advice to go to LuKang old street instead as the places we plan to go is too far. We underestimated Taichung’s size… The hotel breakfast is fantastic, they have a different varieties for the two days we went.. the food is delicious and well selected… i wish i can eat more… the restaurant staff are also very helpful… Overall, me and my friend have great experience at The Tango Taichung…."

"I booked two nights and they put us in second floor room facing street, even though I indicated for high floor room. I asked them during check in but they say they ran out of alternative rooms. On second day, asked for room change cos it was so noisy and difficult to sleep. Managed to get right floor facing the other side. It was much better and slept well"

"My stay was quite enjoyable. While the room wasn't huge, it was very clean and well-maintained. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is super convenient, with a convenience store and plenty of dining options nearby, making it very practical. The staff were friendly and patient, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The overall environment was quiet and comfortable. Considering the price, it offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taichung for leisure or business."

"The room was absolutely perfect — one of the cleanest and brightest we’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom was exceptionally well maintained; even the sink were completely free of visible mould, which is rare and very much appreciated. It would be even better if there were more mirrors in the room, and frosted toilet partitions for added privacy, especially for families. The location is superb. It’s in a quiet corner, yet incredibly convenient with both FamilyMart and 7-Eleven right across the street, and plenty of delicious street food within a 5-minute walk. Service was truly top-notch. Whenever we had questions, the staff didn’t just give standard answers — they took the extra effort to check, offer thoughtful suggestions, and genuinely help us plan better. Their care and attention made our trip even more wonderful. We will definitely be back!"

"Pros: rooms are renovated and clean, breakfast varied daily and taste good, AC was cold, and hotel quite near the taichung TRA, and steps away from gancheng station where a lot of buses pass by cons: soundproofing could be better, no bidet in toilet All in all, still a good hotel choice in taichung considering the cheap price"
