We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

Exceptional Hospitality – Above & Beyond Every Expectation! This hotel's kindness truly amazed us! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—they even provided free airport and train station transfers, which was a huge relief. The lovely receptionist always asked what time we'd prefer breakfast, making sure everything suited our schedule. We also loved having access to a tea station downstairs, where we could enjoy a proper tea ceremony anytime. And after a long journey, the welcome fruits were such a thoughtful touch! The room had everything we could possibly need—even small details like a hair tie were provided. The Dyson hairdryer was a nice bonus! A special thank you to the receptionist (安大喜 Ann) for organizing our trip to Blue Moon Valley. When we realized we'd miss breakfast, she packed it for us the night before—so we still enjoyed a fantastic meal with a mountain view (photo attached!). Even when we had issues with tour guides, 安大喜 Ann was available 24/7, offering advice and support. She went out of her way to help us in countless ways—this level of care is rare! We highly recommend this hotel—their personal approach is truly outstanding and makes all the difference. Unforgettable stay—we'll be back!

Everything is excellent, even when I'm still in malaysia they gave me a call and create a wechat group asking if i need a pickup service and they help to arrange it. The owner was so good and gave us an upgrade room. As for communication, we were welcomed with hot tea and fruits, check in was smooth since the the boss was so fluent in english and no issue as all the staff was very helpful with our request using translation tools. They also offer a lot of services, laundry, making yr bed so its easy for sleep, and lots of activity such as diy candle,evening tea, etc. The room was super clean, new condition, the hotel environment itself is so pretty, room is big with bathtub. Location was so near the ancient town, and the water wheel. The boss also help us to arrange our drop off to the railway station, and suggest few halal places to eat since i'm muslim traveller (very near the hotel, 3 mins walking). For breakfast, just tell the staff that you require vegan meal and she will assist you, there is porridge and juice, bread and other vegetable condiments. They will help to accomodate it. Upon check out they gave us a very cute souvenir to bring home, so cute and pretty. Thank you so much for all the help and accomodation, truly appreciate your help to assist with our request🥰☺️.

Stayed here for 4 nights and 3 days with a family of 4. Arrived at night 10pm+, and the staff of Ju She The House (Inn)were actively checking with us on where we are and if we would require any assistance in carrying the luggage’s to the inn. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. And the customer service and support provided by the lovely staffs of Ju She was also top notch. They even made extra effort to help prepare some simple and early breakfast for us when we had days whereby we had to set off from the inn very early in the day to sightsee. They had a chat group that includes some staff of the inn, in which we could freely and easily request for any assistance when needed, and the staff were all very nice and polite when assisting us. They also had daily complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and a small Chinese dessert soup with reminders in the chat group, which was a very lovely and sweet addition to our stay at the inn. Will definitely come back to stay again when we come to yunnan for our holidays. Kudos to all the friendly and lovely staff at Ju She The House. :)

Other places just say 'the customer is king,' but you guys truly prove it with your actions! Even before we arrived, the front desk staff met us at the ancient city gate. We didn't have to lift a finger; they handled all our luggage and took it straight to our room. Talk about seamless service! As soon as we stepped in, a lovely staff member brought us tea and desserts – so thoughtful! The owner, 'Tieniu,' greeted us at the entrance with incredible warmth. He first explained the layout and then gave us a tour. The most impressive part? He had already turned on the air conditioning in our reserved room! Truly amazing. After resting in the room for a bit, a staff member brought us fruit and a handwritten card! The handwritten touch completely exceeded my expectations; it felt like catching up with a long-lost friend. And there was afternoon tea, breakfast, and even custom cocktails in the evening – all with choices for us. I honestly feel they genuinely demonstrate 'the customer is king' through their actions; they put so much heart into it. They're incredibly considerate, thinking of everything we might need before we even do. Seriously, no exaggeration needed!!!

Esta é uma pousada fantástica. O proprietário tem planos ambiciosos de criar uma rede de 50 pousadas boutique na China, visando um IPO! E eles realmente merecem. Mesmo antes de chegarmos a Lijiang, eles ligaram para organizar nossa hospedagem. Como estávamos de carro, eles reservaram vagas de estacionamento com bastante antecedência e nos buscaram no estacionamento. Chegamos à tarde. O pátio e a arquitetura são de um estilo moderno e luxuoso, baseado na cultura residencial tradicional Naxi, equilibrando o charme antigo com o conforto. Logo na chegada, o gerente nos ofereceu um upgrade. Depois disso, serviços atenciosos, como chá da tarde e reserva de ingressos para o teleférico da montanha nevada, foram se sucedendo... A localização da pousada também é excelente! Fica perto da Montanha do Leão e ao lado do Palácio Mu. Há um mirante na montanha nevada de onde se pode ver o ”nascer do sol dourado” nas montanhas cobertas de neve pela manhã. Resumindo, esta pousada é excelente em termos de localização, acomodação e serviço. Definitivamente, vale a pena uma segunda estadia!

Meu amigo Viveu Na Lijiang, MAS ele não está certo para esta casa. Seu alojamento está determinado. A bagagem de viagem deve ser Muito pesada. O tractor está cheio de suor, MAS não VAI aqui. Não há Muito tempo para sair Da Estrada perto. II recently stayed at the Guanxin Art Hotel in Shuhe Old Town, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in a serene corner of this charming ancient town, the hotel’s artistic design immediately captivated me—think intricate local motifs blended with modern whimsy in every corner, from the lobby’s handcrafted murals to the thoughtfully curated room accents. It’s the kind of place that feels like stepping into a living gallery. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warming welcome tea set that set a perfectly relaxed tone after our journey. And the turndown service? A cozy surprise of warmed white fungus dessert that was both indulgent and surprisingly soothing—such a unique touch that made evenings feel special. Breakfast was a highlight, served with fresh, flavorful local ingredients and Western options that catered to every craving. Everything was excellent, from the fluffy pancakes to the vibrant fruit platters, all enjoyed in a sunlit courtyard that amplified the magic. The rooms themselves were a sanctuary: lovely, plush bedding that promised (and delivered) the deepest sleep, wrapped in an ambiance that’s equal parts elegant and inviting. What truly elevated the stay was the staff—they’re a warm, efficient bunch who went above and beyond. One team member even insisted on carrying my ridiculously heavy bags up the stairs without a second thought, all with a genuine smile. And let’s talk about the hotel’s superstar resident: a massive, fluffy husky dog who’s as photogenic as he is well-behaved. He lounged gracefully by the entrance, offering tail-wags on demand but never intrusive—pure joy! One minor note: the hotel is nestled a bit deeper into the old town, so we walked about 15-20 minutes from the pickup point. But honestly, it was a lovely stroll through lantern-lit alleys, past street vendors and hidden courtyards—part of the adventure that made arriving feel earned. If you’re seeking a boutique escape that’s artistic, attentive, and utterly memorable, Guanxin Art Hotel is it. The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the center of the old town. The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and providing travel tips. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Although it's on the street, it was very quiet at night; the attention to detail was excellent. My stay was perfect for a few days, and the value for money was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!
