We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

The service was impeccable from the moment you confirm your reservation until you leave. They ensure that all and any questions and requests are proactively handled. Their room are exactly as it is with great local architectural vibes yet very warm and cosy. Bathrooms are very clean and no odor which can be a common issue in ancient cities. They are also very connected around and able to introduce restaurants/bars. **Excellent Stay with Outstanding Hospitality** I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at Liqiang. From the moment I arrived, the level of service exceeded my expectations. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional hospitality provided by our host, Mr. Sing, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He was incredibly caring and attentive throughout our stay, taking the time to help arrange our itinerary and providing valuable local insights. Mr. Sing's assistance was invaluable - he personally helped us with our luggage from the main entrance all the way up to the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. His local knowledge really enhanced our trip, as he introduced us to excellent dining options and guided us to the best shopping areas in the vicinity. The genuine care and attention to detail shown by our host Mr. Sing made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. I would highly recommend Liqiang to anyone looking for a place that combines good accommodations with outstanding personal service. Thank you to Mr. Sing for making our visit so enjoyable!

The inn is located on 狮子山, thus do reach out to the team via WeChat in advance to arrange for help with carrying the luggage from the road. The family room is extremely huge with 4 beds, a large bathroom and a projector. The staff is also very warm and helpful. He even helped to arrange for courier delivery of my luggage when 1 piece was left out on the stone bench when boarding the car! An overall very enjoyable stay. Definitely will recommend!

Desde que estivemos lá no Inverno, as noites ficaram Frias, MAS o aquecedor moderno o fez quente e confortável.Você também TEM tantas bebidas/tee e café.Todo o lugar se sente Como UMA história tradicional de fadas. Com o Jardim, as Animadas e centenas, se não milhares, de suculentos e flores.A tia faz um BOM pequeno-almoço misturado e o chefe é também muito amigável. Mas o maior foco era um Zhong, que nos recolheu do Aeroporto e nos deixou quando tivemos de sair de UMA Mercada clássica. Durante a nossa estadia, ele ficou certo de que temos tudo o que precisamos e Mais.Uma vez que saímos de Lijiang, perdi o MEU telefone EM Shanghai, antes de termos de sair do país, ele ajudou-nos a recuperar do posto de polícia, ligando-nos a um polícia local. O melhor homem lá está.Voltaremos a Lijiang um dia e ficaremos aqui sempre!

Fantastic stay! We booked 3 nights, so the hotel provided free shuttle from Lijiang Railway station. The hotel has afternoon tea time from 2-6 pm while after 8-10 pm, there is also fire session for night tea. Our families are really happy. Breakfast is local noodles which is good; we have 1 day to leave hotel early, the hotel staff even prepare packing set of milk and crackers for us. Appreciated very much.The room is clean and like provided in Trip.com. Just only comment for drainage to fix. 6th floor hotel has really great view to see Jade Dragon Snow mountain especially on a sunny day. Hotel staff are really helpful and nice. Overall we are very happy with hotel staff, nice room and many hotel activities.

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

Eu estava ansiosa para deixar uma avaliação mesmo antes do check-out! Decidimos levar minha irmã para Lijiang de última hora e encontrei este hotel no Ctrip. Parecia ter um ótimo custo-benefício, embora eu estivesse um pouco cética sobre se o preço correspondia à qualidade. Também reservamos um transfer para o aeroporto. No entanto, quando chegamos, o motorista estava descansando no estacionamento e se esqueceu de nos buscar no portão de desembarque. Fiquei um pouco irritada, pensando que o barato sai caro. Mas quando entrei em contato com a Xiao Xi no hotel, ela foi incrivelmente prestativa, tornando impossível ficar brava. Ela recomendou um restaurante limpo e com preços razoáveis, e mencionar o nome da Xiao Xi nos rendeu um desconto! 😄 Quando fomos às compras, os funcionários nos lembraram de não comprar coisas sem critério. Os rapazes bonitos da recepção foram todos muito simpáticos e acolhedores, nos fazendo sentir em casa. Por isso, estendemos nossa estadia por mais uma noite, mesmo tendo planejado ficar apenas uma. O café da manhã era um pouco monótono, mas isso é compreensível dado o preço, e não me impediria de me hospedar aqui novamente na próxima vez. Altamente recomendado!

Este hotel tem uma localização ideal ao lado da Roda D'água, uma atração turística no portão norte do centro histórico de Lijiang. Embora esteja localizado no movimentado centro da cidade, possui um ambiente raramente tranquilo (por ser um hotel independente). Os quartos do hotel são projetados de forma requintada e elegante, com rigorosos padrões de higiene e características distintas. O quarto era como na foto e muito limpo. A faxineira trabalha diligentemente e limpa em tempo hábil. O quarto é equipado com instalações inteligentes, o que é extremamente conveniente. Em particular, o gerente do hotel, Xiaohu, demonstrou altíssimo profissionalismo e excelente atitude de serviço, além de ser dedicado ao seu trabalho. Em qualquer situação, ele tomava a iniciativa de contatar e lidar adequadamente com a situação, demonstrando alto senso de responsabilidade. Para amigos que buscam uma experiência de acomodação de alta qualidade, este hotel é uma escolha confiável e altamente recomendada.

I rarely write reviews for hotels, but I really loved their service. So far, this is the hotel that offers the best service. A staff member explained all the attractions and food options in Baisha Village in detail. They provide afternoon tea, evening snacks, and breakfast—all included in the hotel fees. They also offer other services like candle making and baking classes. Unfortunately, due to my packed schedule, I didn’t get to register for those classes. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and the top-notch service provided.
