Choose to stay here because its a new 5stars hotel in the area. It is a really mixed feeling about this hotel. Let me list down the pros/cons. Pro: - right above lijiang ancient town - bed and duvet are super comfortable - they have bidet and heated floor!! 👍🏻 - room interior is beautiful and well equipped. So many free goodies. - the view from breakfast area is AMAZING. On good days You can see the mountain from there - their butler service is SUPER amazing! THANK U LI JIAHAO (and friends!!) for you excellent service during our stay. He is so fast, reliable and attentive. You all are the highlight of my stay in this hotel👍🏻 Cons: - its a physical challenge right from you get of your car. its above lijiang ancient town, so check in/out, go to ancient town or back to the hotel you have to climb/down stairsss. Travel with little kids or elderly? Avoid!! - unstable hot water for shower. The average weather was 1c during our stay, to shower with lukewarm water is a nightmare. - its a really small hotel more like guest house, and our room is near busy street that is very noisy! I can hear car honking even at midnight and as early at 6am😭. - breakfast is average - it was my birthday during my stay. The hotel did not give any attention at all, not even a birthday note, let alone a little cake. Our butler help my husband went buy cake late at night so I can have a little celebration 😅😅 - in my opinion it is more suitable to be called 4stars hotel. And price is too high I expect more benefits like any other 5stars hotels, yet other 5stars hotel price is 1/3 less (beside Amandayan obviously) compare to this hotel. Conclusion: I enjoyed my stay. But will not return here for my next trip.

I stayed at Aman for three nights. The hotel is located on the top of the Lion Mountain. It has an excellent viewing platform where you can have a panoramic view of the ancient city of Lijiang at night. The hotel has a small door next to Wenchang Palace, and you can walk directly to the lively Sifang Street in the center of the ancient city at the foot of the mountain. Before check-in, the housekeeper added WeChat to help me report my license plate number. After check-in, the RR manager also took us to visit the hotel and arranged a Naxi fire pit dinner. It was a very good experience. All the staff in the hotel are very warm and considerate. They will also thoughtfully send menus for breakfast and go there after making arrangements. All in all, everything was very comfortable and I would choose this place again next time I go there.

A great designer B&B near Dayan Ancient Town in Lijiang, very tasteful. The hotel is located in the middle of the mountain next to the ancient city, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. The room faces the snow-capped mountains, and you can see it when you open the window in the morning. The room is large, with a 2-meter-wide bed and many sofas. Clean and hygienic, with complete facilities. All equipped with Dyson hair dryers. The staff at the B&B are very attentive and considerate. After staying for three nights, you will receive afternoon tea and good night sweet soup. The breakfast is also quite rich. It's a very nice B&B hotel.

Exceeded expectations. Very new hotel, very clean, and high tech. Room size was good, toilet with automated wc. Do note, though, that the glass separating wc and shower is transparent; not convenient for 2 people to use at the same time. The location is in-between Black Dragon Lake and the Water Wheel - both within 5 mins walk. Service was very polite, with complimentary afternoon tea, fruits and pastry.

The location is good because it is in the city but also close to the old town. The hotel is clean and the rooms are big and comfortable. The problem was the coldness, everywhere in the hotel was cold during our stay in February. We had to have breakfast with our jackets on and next to the heater. The staff does not speak English but we were able to communicate with the translator and wechat. Overall it is a good hotel and good value for money.

This trip to Yunnan was so complete! My wife and I stayed there twice on our trip because the hosts were so friendly and the hotel was so comfortable. We ended up spending Chinese New Years Eve with them and had such a wonderful time. Everyone in the hotel were so kind and helpful and made our stay in Lijiang perfect. A special thanks to Xiao Gao and Beibei for going out of their way to make our stay special. The hotel is located in the ancient city and close to the entrance which makes it easily accessible. The breakfast was great and the cook is excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable and the heater works really well.

I have never stayed in a B&B before, but my family heard that it would be a mistake not to stay in a B&B when going to Lijiang, so I originally wanted to book InterContinental, but instead I searched among the many B&Bs. Fortunately, the adventure proved to be worth it in the end! The accommodation is very good, just get off at Shishan Road and walk down a short distance (3-40 meters). It's right next to the ancient city viewing point (it's very interesting to stand on the terrace outside the hotel room and watch the people coming and going on the viewing platform outside). If you walk further down, you will reach the Waterwheel or Bar Street in two minutes. I stayed at the hotel for two days. Due to special reasons, I came in and out of the hotel during the day, in the middle of the night, and in the early morning. Although it was located on a hill, I didn't feel at all unsafe. The hotel (it’s better to call it a home in a foreign land) can stay very comfortably for ten days and a half. If you like Lijiang Old Town, it is the best choice.
