Exceptional Hospitality – Above & Beyond Every Expectation! This hotel's kindness truly amazed us! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—they even provided free airport and train station transfers, which was a huge relief. The lovely receptionist always asked what time we'd prefer breakfast, making sure everything suited our schedule. We also loved having access to a tea station downstairs, where we could enjoy a proper tea ceremony anytime. And after a long journey, the welcome fruits were such a thoughtful touch! The room had everything we could possibly need—even small details like a hair tie were provided. The Dyson hairdryer was a nice bonus! A special thank you to the receptionist (安大喜 Ann) for organizing our trip to Blue Moon Valley. When we realized we'd miss breakfast, she packed it for us the night before—so we still enjoyed a fantastic meal with a mountain view (photo attached!). Even when we had issues with tour guides, 安大喜 Ann was available 24/7, offering advice and support. She went out of her way to help us in countless ways—this level of care is rare! We highly recommend this hotel—their personal approach is truly outstanding and makes all the difference. Unforgettable stay—we'll be back!

Um hotel incrível e escondido para explorar a cidade antiga com crianças! A experiência foi absolutamente fantástica! ✨ A melhor coisa da nossa viagem à cidade antiga com as crianças foi ter escolhido este hotel! A localização é simplesmente incrível — um lugar perfeito, tranquilo e ao mesmo tempo muito conveniente. Dá para passear pela cidade antiga a pé, e estacionar é super fácil se você estiver de carro; não precisa se preocupar em encontrar vaga. O ambiente do hotel era tão aconchegante que não queríamos ir embora. O pátio era elegante e sereno, o ar perfumado. A maior surpresa foram os cervos no pátio; as crianças ficaram encantadas, circulando ao redor deles por um tempão, pulando e brincando de alegria o tempo todo! O serviço foi incrivelmente atencioso. Os funcionários foram cordiais e prestativos, ajudando proativamente com as malas e explicando os roteiros turísticos. A gentileza deles me deixou um pouco sem graça, me fazendo sentir realmente em casa. A atenção aos detalhes foi impecável! Um delicioso chá da tarde foi servido para recarregar as energias, e uma sopa quentinha foi servida no quarto antes de dormir para acalmar nossos estômagos. Eles até tiveram a gentileza de nos oferecer uma garrafa de vinho tinto, aliviando instantaneamente o cansaço da viagem. O quarto estava limpo e arrumado, a roupa de cama era macia e confortável, e toda a família se divertiu muito. Esta viagem foi duas vezes mais feliz graças a este hotel, e eu e as crianças já prometemos voltar na próxima vez! Seja para uma viagem em família ou férias relaxantes, eu recomendo muito — você não vai se arrepender!

Hotel was well located within the old town so we could easily explore the old town. Hotel includes a photoshoot, tie dye experience as well as daily afternoon tea, free pu-er tea cake and animal encounter which elevated our entire stay and made us felt really welcome. Our personal butler 小周 was also very attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. Only 1 complain is that the hotel room is way too dim.

We stayed in Stone Lodge for 3 nights in the middle of December. Let us talk about the good things first. 1. Snow Mountain View rooms can see 日照金山from bed. 2. Location is good for going to snow mountain. It takes around 20min to reach visitor centre of snow mountain. 3. Service is very good. U can ask for anything and they will provide for example bubble wrap to pack our fragile shopping. There’s also free laundry service. 4. Good for those who like the activities included in the room package. We did the Naxi home visit, horse riding and art and craft diy and enjoyed them very much. We like the afternoon tea provided too. And we can have coffee and fruits as much as we want. Now some points to note. 1. Room is a bit small for 3 of us. The toilet is like a shower cubicle that opens into the room. We only discovered the ventilation switch im the middle of the stay and was wondering why the cubicle is so stuffy, not to mention the smell. With the ventilation on, the problems are solved. The shower cubicle is opposite with the sink in between them. All open into the room with no partition around the bathroom area. The walls of the toilet and shower cubicles are frosted glass and is acceptable for me and my daughters, all ladies. 2. The village is very small. Not much to see. We went to a cafe popular on internet that can take photo on the roof with the snow mountain in the background. The drinks are ok but the pasta is not nice. Maybe that’s why this restaurant is not in the recommended list of the hotel. We did not explore the village much but from what I see, it’s just 1 short street. 3. Ask for a 3rd floor room. It has a sky roof over the bed and we can see stars when we turn off all the lights in the room. Overall, we did not regret our decision to stay here in the Stone Lodge. If the activities were not included in the package, we would not have experienced them at all.

Mesmo antes de chegarmos a Lijiang, eles ligaram para organizar nossa hospedagem. Como estávamos de carro, eles reservaram vagas de estacionamento com bastante antecedência e nos buscaram no estacionamento. Chegamos à tarde. O pátio e a arquitetura são de um estilo moderno e luxuoso, baseado na cultura residencial tradicional Naxi, equilibrando o charme antigo com o conforto. Logo na chegada, o gerente nos ofereceu um upgrade. Depois disso, serviços atenciosos, como chá da tarde e reserva de ingressos para o teleférico da montanha nevada, foram se sucedendo... A localização da pousada também é excelente! Fica perto da Montanha do Leão e ao lado do Palácio Mu. Há um mirante na montanha nevada de onde se pode ver o ”nascer do sol dourado” nas montanhas cobertas de neve pela manhã. Resumindo, esta pousada é excelente em termos de localização, acomodação e serviço. Definitivamente, vale a pena uma segunda estadia!

Ao longo de nossa viagem de 16 dias em Yunnan, é um dos poucos hotéis que ficámos no hotel para desfrutar das vistas e das acomodações (por exemplo, serviços com voz, 100-inch ecrã de projector, pintura de tangkra, etc.). Excellent stay- Beautifully curated room with Naxi architectural details. Comfortable stay with impeccable service from Chinese and Western options for breakfast that is beautifully plated, delicious dinner (affordably priced). Staff is very friendly and engaging- we particularly enjoyed the Botanic hike in the morning and just hanging around the still rustic village of Yuhu. Highly recommend staying at the The Rock and enjoy a luxurious, cultural stay surrounded by snow mountains. P.s. The hotel is located in a scenic area so do let them know the car plate no before coming.

II recently stayed at the Guanxin Art Hotel in Shuhe Old Town, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in a serene corner of this charming ancient town, the hotel’s artistic design immediately captivated me—think intricate local motifs blended with modern whimsy in every corner, from the lobby’s handcrafted murals to the thoughtfully curated room accents. It’s the kind of place that feels like stepping into a living gallery. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warming welcome tea set that set a perfectly relaxed tone after our journey. And the turndown service? A cozy surprise of warmed white fungus dessert that was both indulgent and surprisingly soothing—such a unique touch that made evenings feel special. Breakfast was a highlight, served with fresh, flavorful local ingredients and Western options that catered to every craving. Everything was excellent, from the fluffy pancakes to the vibrant fruit platters, all enjoyed in a sunlit courtyard that amplified the magic. The rooms themselves were a sanctuary: lovely, plush bedding that promised (and delivered) the deepest sleep, wrapped in an ambiance that’s equal parts elegant and inviting. What truly elevated the stay was the staff—they’re a warm, efficient bunch who went above and beyond. One team member even insisted on carrying my ridiculously heavy bags up the stairs without a second thought, all with a genuine smile. And let’s talk about the hotel’s superstar resident: a massive, fluffy husky dog who’s as photogenic as he is well-behaved. He lounged gracefully by the entrance, offering tail-wags on demand but never intrusive—pure joy! One minor note: the hotel is nestled a bit deeper into the old town, so we walked about 15-20 minutes from the pickup point. But honestly, it was a lovely stroll through lantern-lit alleys, past street vendors and hidden courtyards—part of the adventure that made arriving feel earned. If you’re seeking a boutique escape that’s artistic, attentive, and utterly memorable, Guanxin Art Hotel is it. I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Yintang. Driver was on time for pick up at airport and Abu helped with my luggages upon arrival. The drive up was a bit rocky as its uphill however there is a small alley which connects Yintang to Shuhe town in less than 5 mins. There were also rose cake and tea before checking in to the room. Abu was very nice to upgrade my room as well. It was on the 1st floor behind the pool , very nice and quiet. I liked the location of Yintang as compared to staying in Dayan ancient town as its way too crowded and noisy. Everything in the room was clean and there were amenities like mouth wash , clothes detergent, wet tissues , toothpick and eye mask for sleeping. There was a groupchat via wechat where Abu and his team were always so helpful and remind that there was afternoon tea , night soup and turn up/down service. Breakfast was delicious and full of variety. Abu was very responsive and helped me alot during my stay example introducing me to buy tea and with other queries. I am very pleased with Abu's top notch service along with his team. I will definitely recommend Yintang to my family and friends when they visit Lijiang. I would also want to come back to Yintang again next time. Thumbs up for Abu !
