Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely had a great time. We originally came to Moalboal to experience Kawasan Canyoneering, and we were lucky because B’lu Bamboo is within the area where our canyoneering organizer offered free pick-up and drop-off. The location is really convenient. It’s close to White Beach and Lambug Beach, and the famous Sardine Run is also nearby. Osmeña Peak is around an hour away, and even Oslob is only about 2 hours away if you want to do a day trip. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so getting food or anything you need is easy. Eda was wonderful and very accommodating throughout our stay. And if you want breakfast, honestly look no further — Eda makes the best breakfast in Moalboal! They also rent motorcycles for an additional fee, which made it much easier for us to explore the area. We’re really glad we picked B’lu Bamboo and would definitely stay here again when we return to Moalboal. Highly recommended!

Every single person we interacted with was extremely friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting us with a smile and offering assistance whenever we needed it. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed — every detail was just perfect. I sincerely appreciate the entire team for their kindness, friendliness, and dedication. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Now let’s talk about the food – WOW! Every meal we had was delicious, freshly prepared, and served with a smile. There’s a great variety on the menu, and each dish tasted like it was made with love and care. Even with a large group, every order was handled smoothly and served on time. The rooms and facilities were also top-notch – clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This place exceeded our expectations in every possible way. This is a budget-friendly room. The space is enough for couples. There’s not much amenities in the room though. You can ask the staff to clean the room promptly. There are some small stores outside where you can buy some necessities, but if you wish to buy fast food, the center is a bit far from this location.

The location is excellent, not far from where they take you to see the whale sharks. The hotel provides round-trip transfers, but you can also walk about 500 meters in 10 minutes, though it's along the road. The price for the whale shark tour from the hotel with transfer is 1000 pesos; without transfer, it's 500 pesos per person if you book on site. The rooms are spartan, with nothing but a bed and a table. There's a water heater in the shower, but it doesn't quite do its job. However, for 3,000 rubles, if you just came to see the whale sharks, spend a night, and leave, it's perfectly justifiable. The hotel has a restaurant where you can grab a bite, and nearby there's a pier with boats that can take you to a small, opposite island with white coral sand. This hotel is really just for a 1-2 night stay.

Our stay at Alegria Waterfront Beach House was absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a place that combines natural beauty with peace and quiet, this is it. The Property The location is unbeatable. Having a private beach right on your doorstep is a rare luxury; we loved being able to step out and enjoy the water without the usual crowds. It’s incredibly serene and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Exceptional Service What truly set this experience apart, however, was the property manager, Katrina. She did a fantastic job ensuring our trip was seamless. Katrina went above and beyond by handling all of our activity bookings, including: Canyoneering adventures Whale shark tours Her local knowledge and willingness to help made our logistics stress-free. Her service is highly commendable, and she is a massive asset to this property. Verdict Between the stunning, quiet location and Katrina’s top-tier hospitality, I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!

Loved the property and the beach. Best snorkeling we did in Moalboal was direct from the resort and we saw turtles and lots of starfish and marine life. The lifeguard Frankie went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing snorkeling experience. Also enjoyed the pool and the location worked perfectly for us as it was away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to hit the town for dinner each night. Plus, White Beach is a 5 minute paddle away on the kayak. Would definitely come back again

What I liked: - clean room - smart TV with internet (YouTube only) access - good aircon - pool available - polite staff What I didn't like: - location - situated in a hard to find off the main road, in little dead end side road - no hot shower - no Netflix login or even browsing option on TV - WIFI password is not given by default - no kettle for hot water - if you ask for a blanket (which is basic) there is a charge - minimal amenity kit (no toothbrush and toothpaste, 1 little soap for 4 days)

Este hotel fica a 5 minutos a pé do J. Park Resort em Mactan. Por ser administrado por coreanos, os quartos e banheiros são limpos. Há também uma piscina e um bar na piscina, o que o torna um ótimo lugar para tomar uma cerveja depois de um dia fora, sem precisar ir muito longe. O hotel também possui uma piscina de 3 metros para prática de mergulho, o que foi ótimo. Os quartos estão divididos em dois andares, com cerca de 40 quartos. Cada quarto inclui secador de cabelo, pasta de dente, escova de dente, xampu, condicionador, sabonete e duas garrafas de água. Há também um pequeno cofre e uma geladeira grande. A conexão de internet é boa e as camas são grandes e confortáveis. O café da manhã é servido das 7h30 às 9h30 e pode ser apreciado no quarto ou no restaurante. Você pode escolher entre três menus fixos. O café da manhã também está incluído na diária, tornando-o um hotel com bom custo-benefício em Cebu com café da manhã incluso. Eu adoraria voltar a este hotel.
