Thank you, Holiday Inn Cebu. My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days. Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work. As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great. I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house. See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

Lamento, mas o cheiro de mofo no carpete arruinou minha experiência. Cheirava como se o hotel não tivesse lavado os carpetes há 20 anos. Pedi para trocar de quarto na primeira noite, mas não fez muita diferença. A janela do quarto era tão pequena que eu não conseguia arejar o ambiente. O cheiro era tão fétido que eu tapava o nariz com os lençóis só para conseguir dormir. Cheguei a pensar em dormir no banheiro, onde não havia carpete, ou até mesmo reservar outro hotel. Não recomendo este hotel a ninguém e não voltarei a menos que removam ou troquem o carpete, pois duvido que mesmo uma lavagem com xampu resolva um odor tão forte. Já houve reclamações sobre o carpete antes, então não acredito que isso vá acontecer. É uma pena, porque o design de interiores e as comodidades oferecidas são decentes e condizem com um hotel de 4 ou 5 estrelas. É lamentável que os gerentes do hotel afastem os hóspedes em potencial só para economizar na lavagem dos carpetes. Nem sempre posso dizer coisas positivas sobre o serviço. Embora os funcionários sejam educados, pedi que consertassem meu cofre enquanto eu estava fora e isso nunca aconteceu. Eu tinha que ficar lembrando-os de me fornecer água, o que era um pouco incômodo, já que eu não tinha um meio direto de me comunicar com a equipe de limpeza. Havia uma linha telefônica, mas as ligações não eram atendidas. Quanto à localização, você pensaria que é uma localização privilegiada, dada a proximidade com o Shopping Ayala. Mas esteja ciente de que o hotel está situado entre grandes congestionamentos (veja a foto). Esses congestionamentos não ocorriam apenas nos horários de pico. Fora isso, os quartos não eram tão barulhentos quanto parecem.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by clear blue waters that create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The tranquil environment made it an ideal choice for a quick getaway. The resort itself is well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and comfortable amenities. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable.

Liked this place. Not quite sure what was newly renovated as the room was still quite basic and no hot water to speak of. Fortunately the amenities (pools) made up for it. It’s far from other amenities for shopping etc and the shuttles are limited and generally full but grab is easy to hail. It’s a shame they don’t allow grab drivers with food in though and you have to meet them at the gate. If you don’t want this service affecting your catering business then improve your catering facilities to offer more of what people want. Highlight - pools and inflatables, beach clearly man made and more like concrete than sand. Low point - loud and noisy functions in the numerous tented venues.

I enjoy my stay with Maayo Hotel. The amenities is great, thr location is good too. I can see the Mactan Bridge as well as the sea. They have a pool and I enjoyed my time swimming in there. 10/10 for Maayo!

This is a wonderful hotel for families the pools and facilities are fantastic and great for kids and families. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. On check in you do have to deposit 2000 pesos per night, but while you are eating at the restaurant you can charge it to your room and pay out of the deposit. There is not much outside the resort so most meals will most likely be spent there. The food is very nice with a good selection and breakfast/dinner buffet available or have a la carte.

The nearest ATM is quite far from the resort, so you’ll need to take a tricycle or rent a motorcycle. The resort only accepts cash. O foco para nós foi a vista marinha e o sol brilhante.A propriedade não é muito grande, mas com muitos árvores se sente segreda e pacífica. O alimento também era delicioso.

On our first night, we checked in late due to prior commitments. The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, so we requested for it to be fixed. When they couldn’t repair it, we asked for a fan instead of transferring, but they moved us to another room that was too small and 1 bed only. We then requested for an upgrade for 2 nights and paid later upon check out. Even in the upgraded room, the a/c was still not cold enough on the first night, so my niece had to slept on the floor. Thankfully, the a/c improved by the next day.
