"Pool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately."

"The hotel was ok. Not all the staff members were able to speak English but they were attentive. Rooms are normal, not very big, the cleaning of rooms is not super great, it could be improved. Gym very small, swimming pool with weird opening times."

"Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable. The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay. The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi. The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated. Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services."

"Fiquei aqui antes da pandemia. Desta vez, muitas instalações foram atualizadas, incluindo uma sala de jogos para crianças. Você não precisa ir ao anexo para tomar um banho de água termal. O próprio hotel tem uma piscina de água termal. Há muitas atividades gratuitas organizadas no hotel de acordo com o período de tempo. Aqueles que não têm muitos itinerários também podem experimentar no hotel. Além do café da manhã chinês geral, há macarrão soba japonês e pão europeu no café da manhã. A tarifa do quarto também é razoável. É um hotel com alto valor de CP. Vou providenciar para ficar neste hotel na próxima vez."

"Had a great stay at Grand Hotel Lili. Our room was clean, comfy, and quiet - perfect for winding down after a day out. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check‑in/check‑out were quick and easy. The location is good if you prefer a quiet area (I do), but you’ll need a car or motorcycle to get to Taitung. There’s no Uber, and a taxi to the city will cost several hundreds. There’s a big 7‑Eleven right next door in case you need something in the middle of the night. The hotel serves a Taiwanese‑style breakfast, which I didn’t try, but my wife liked it. Overall, smooth experience. It’s our second stay, and we’d definitely stay again in the future."
