This hostel is very suitable for backpackers. The room is so comfortable and the price is very affordable. If you travel with friends, the price of the two-person room per one person is almost the same as the room that has 4 single beds for 4 individuals. The photo is a random photo, but look how comfortable the atmosphere is. I like the tone of the room which is white and earth tone.

房間整潔乾淨，空間感也不差！ 最欣賞是冲涼水壓👍熱水👍 建議在浴室內多設掛鈎，方便用家沖涼、換衫有合適位置放！ 現乾淨衫只能放在毛巾掛上，問題是先要清空毛巾才可以放上，而污糟衫也只能在厠板上.😌 對管家🤔第一次見面感覺👎 明白她需要交接情序工作，說明住客必須要做什麼⋯等 但語氣感覺她是order 我，而我要服從🥺 離開時怕打擾廳中住客，放輕手，將房匙放在本信內，本想透過WhatsApp通知房宿管理人，房匙已歸位在信箱內🤨，突然她發聲問是否要存放行李？我哋said no ! 誰不知她說我就是管家😅我們尷尬地離開🤣入住+離開不夠2分鐘🤔誰會記得她的面🤣

I didn’t fully realize what I booked until I got there, but it was a good experience. Rooms a very small, but functional. And walls are thin, but I sleep with earplugs anyway, so that wasn’t a problem for me. Otherwise it was a nice experience to sleep in a traditional style house.

Great site overall! Only slight issue I ran into was that the rooms, although they had AC, were really moist - everything in there was slightly wet to the touch, I assume because of poor insulation or ventilation. Slightly further out the way compared to a lot of the hostels but not at all a trouble when you have a bike. Great facilities across the site - the main areas of reception and rooftop were lovely to hang out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Organised diving through them which I loved.

The guesthouse is impeccably maintained, offering a peaceful and nature-filled retreat, truly a hidden paradise for relaxation. The highlight of the stay was the coffee machine provided by the guesthouse—offering Starbucks-quality finely ground coffee with an irresistible aroma. Enjoying a freshly brewed cup while gazing at the beautiful scenery outside made every moment of the trip feel worthwhile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful details that showed great hospitality. If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature, this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Taitung. I will definitely be coming back next time I visit! 🌿☀️☕

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable. The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay. The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi. The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated. Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point. Service One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided. Pricing Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value. In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. 이번 숙소는 도착하는 순간부터 편안함이 느껴졌습니다. 예약 과정도 간단하고, 문의사항에 대한 답변도 신속하고 친절했습니다. 체크인에서부터 체크아웃까지, 고객의 시간을 배려하는 섬세한 태도가 정말 인상적이었어요. 주변 경치와 공기가 너무 맑고 상쾌했습니다. 덕분에 아침에 일어나 산책만 해도 힐링되는 기분이 들었고, 조식 또한 가격 대비 훌륭하게 준비되어 있어 만족스러웠습니다. 위생 상태도 깔끔하게 관리되어 있어 안심하고 머물 수 있었습니다. 단순히 잠만 자는 공간이 아니라, 여행 자체가 즐거워지는 경험을 제공하는 숙소였습니다. 다음에 또 이 지역을 방문하게 된다면 망설임 없이 다시 선택할 곳입니다.

This is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.

Very uncomfortable bed. There was a spider in the bedroom. The bedsheets and the blanket always felt humid, so not nice at all. The bathroom floor was covered in water after showering… could be improved with a shower curtain or sth. The whole structure is quite old but I guess it’s what you get for a cheaper option. Also I was a bit concerned because there is no key, no lockers, no door key, and the main door is always open for guests. And there are quite many people coming and going, staying in other rooms upstairs. I would have preferred some level of security for valuables. They provide car pick-up and drop-off at the pier with the car. You can rent a e-bike from them for 600ntd/day (e-bike for foreigners without international license), it is quite expensive but I’ve called other rental shops and they said the same price… the lady also gave me a raincoat at least!
