The buffet, public bath area, room, staff and etc. are all perfect!!! Especially the game center, swimming pool and the musical performance at the night. You can simply spend a few days in the resort! It is close to the attractions so the place is perfect!

Room is much much better than I expected. I’m surprised by the bad reviews. Service will have been excellent if not for this particular counter staff who is very unhelpful and lazy to provide drive to their sister hotel for onsen. The other 2 more elderly staffs were so nice and friendly, unlike him. He should learn to be nice in service line, if not get out pls !

The facility is more likely an apartment . A big space for family traveler- We are family of 4. Our rooms have a onsen bath which is very good. Room was equipped with all necessary cookware. It is good for preparing breakfast.Also very clean! Location is good in case of travelling by car otherwise it’s quite far from Nikko train station. 1 minute walk to 7-11 and 5 minutes drive to big supermarket where you can find everything. Check in process is OK and convenient but you have to read instructions email very carefully, hotel will sent to guest 1 day! prior to check in date.

Nikko Station hotel Classic located at a strategic location:-👍 (a) opposite its hotel ( cross the zebra crossing) is the entrance of JR Nikko Station 🚉 ( JR Nikko line 💚) -5-8mins walk (2) clean n neat modern Japanese bed with rather big bathroom (3) morning breakfast is at level one with 24hrs coffee n tea vending machine besides for hotel guests . Hotel guests can enjoy their slow slipping of coffee ☕️ n private chats at private area besides. (4) hotel breakfast is simple but its sufficient for both of us. We simply love to enjoy a big warm bowl of curry rice with hard boiled eggs 🥚 🥚 n some bread 🍞 n toasts. (5) Simply falls in love with its Sukura restaurant its Tempura Don. very delicious 😋👍 although its small . (6) Hotel is conveniently located along a long stretch of shopping streets with another Railway station ( Tohoku station 🚉) nearby. (7) Hotel is very near to Local bus-stop , local buses ,tourist heritage buses n stations.

Vamos a Nasu todos os anos em uma viagem em família com 2 adultos e 2 crianças. Reservei um quarto barato de estilo japonês neste site, mas o hotel me ofereceu um upgrade para um quarto de estilo ocidental com antecedência e fiquei grato em aceitar. Usei-o logo após a reabertura, por isso nem é preciso dizer que estava limpo, mas tive a impressão de que a localização, a decoração interior, a resposta e o serviço eram muito rentáveis ​​considerando a tarifa do quarto. Eu definitivamente quero ficar novamente quando for para Nasu no próximo ano, então só espero que os preços não subam. Obrigado Mercure.

Great traditional-yet-luxurious ryokan near the UNESCO temples of Nikko.  The room was amazing: it had a private hot tub, tatami mats,  a massage chair, and even binoculars.  Dinner was a delight, a classical tasting menu full of surprises.  My only complaints are about the shuttle system.  Hotel is extremely inflexible in how and when you can get a ride to and from the sites and train station: other than a couple of fixed time slots, they make you either walk or take a taxi.  Expected a bit more in this regard.  They also very much rushed me out the door in the morning which went counter to the relaxing experience I’d had.  Other than this, easy to recommend.

It’s been such a nice stay, the room is large and clean, the traditional decor is perfectly introduced into the vibe of Nikko. The dinner and breakfast were perfectly served. Plus, they have a very nice souvenir shop on the first floor, bought a few socks there. Finally, the onsen was brilliant, also large room and a small onsen outside on a balcony. I regret staying only for one night.

Cerca de 10 minutos de ônibus da Estação Tobu Nikko, ao lado da parada do Jardim Botânico Nikko. Ao longo do caminho, há uma parada chamada ``Shinkyo'', que fica próxima ao acesso ao Santuário Nikko Toshogu. O ponto de ônibus mais próximo é o Chuzenji Onsen, o que o torna conveniente para ir às Cataratas Kegon. O exterior é um edifício de estilo ocidental de três andares rodeado por árvores, e o interior e o grande banho público (fonte termal) com banho ao ar livre eram bem conservados e encantadores. Este é um hotel onde eu gostaria de ficar regularmente.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Nikko. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience truly enjoyable. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious. The hotel's amenities, including a public bath, mini market, vending machines, and a cafe, covered all our needs. Additionally, evening events added a nice touch to our stay. Its convenient location, easily accessible from the train station via bus, made exploring Nikko effortless. The complimentary shuttle back to the train station upon check-out was a thoughtful gesture, rounding off a great experience.

Enjoyed the outdoor bath. Would have wanted more than a frozen meal to heat up for our dinner and breakfast. We found a shortcut from the bus station up the hill to the resort which didn't seem as steep as walking up the road .wo
