Hotéis Hot Springs em Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan

It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!

The staffs are elderly uncles and aunties, they are super friendly, we communicate with them with simple japanese, and they can communicate with us with some english too. The room has really nice sea view, it is big and wide, with very comfortable futon in the middle of the room. The shower came with bath tub. The hotel also has free family private onsen that can be use as long as no one is using it, managed to use it on the two night we stayed there, very comfortable and relaxing. Besides that, the hotel also has private onsen with sea view to be rented. We drove rental car there, the hotel has private car park nearby to park the car.

O hotel é um serviço japonês tradicional delicado. É impressionante. As quartos japonesas tradicionais são amplas e confortáveis, as instalações acessórias são perfeitamente perfeitamente, sopa privada e massagens avançadas são Muito confortáveis. O restaurante é semi-conservado. Embora não haja quarto para jantar, o restaurante também é confortável. A comida TEM café Da manhã e jantar, e o Sabor é elegante. O transporte do hotel é inconveniente, Precisa de ônibus, outros aspectos são Muito bons. É um BOM Lugar para a educação física e mental. A Cidade do hotel também TEM algumas boas lojas de almoço e restaurantes.

Há insetos no quarto, talvez porque o Ambiente Da área de remoção é Mais descaroçamento e mosquitos, a localização é remota, não há restaurantes à noite, MAS a cortesia do Pessoal é boa.

Recentemente, me hospedei no Hotel Clad durante minha viagem à região do Monte Fuji e foi uma experiência maravilhosa. A localização é realmente imbatível — situado no topo de uma colina com vistas deslumbrantes do Monte Fuji, especialmente ao nascer e pôr do sol. Acordar com aquela silhueta icônica foi absolutamente inesquecível. O hotel em si oferece um equilíbrio perfeito entre conforto moderno e simplicidade serena. Meu quarto era limpo, bem decorado e projetado com uma estética minimalista que o tornava ao mesmo tempo calmo e funcional. As grandes janelas aproveitavam ao máximo a natureza ao redor, e apreciei a atenção aos detalhes tanto nas comodidades quanto na disposição dos móveis. Um dos pontos altos foi o onsen. Foi um verdadeiro deleite relaxar nas águas termais enquanto contemplava o Monte Fuji — uma experiência que pareceu ao mesmo tempo tranquila e luxuosa. As instalações do onsen eram limpas, bem conservadas e nunca estavam lotadas. O hotel também está convenientemente conectado ao Gotemba Premium Outlets, facilitando fazer compras ou comer algo sem precisar ir muito longe. Apesar da proximidade, o hotel mantém uma atmosfera muito tranquila, o que eu realmente apreciei. No geral, o Hotel Clad é uma base perfeita para quem deseja explorar a região do Monte Fuji com conforto. Seja para fazer trilhas, compras ou simplesmente admirar a vista, ele proporciona uma estadia serena, panorâmica e satisfatória.

The resort is truly remarkable with good food and onsen facilities. My rating is purely based on the resort experience. However, I will like to provide feedback on the reservation experience on trip.com. The pricing indicated on trip.com is not totally transparent. At the time of booking, I indicated 2 adults and a 7yo child to get accurate pricing. The amount was prepaid with a small fee JPY450 to be paid at hotel. At check in, I was shocked to learn that we are expected to pay for the child room rate at JPY22k+. That was not indicated on the “to pay at hotel’. Trip.com customer service officer replied that the requirement was indicated on the email confirmation sent. This is upsetting as I usually used the mobile app and relied on available information to make reservation. It is not my habit to check email confirmation given the information on the app is correct. Pricing should be made transparent at point of booking and not after booking. And out of ‘goodwill’ they offered me a compensation close to 50% of the child room rate. I have been using trip.com since covid and this is my first time having such issue. I hope my experience can benefit others who is booking this accommodation with child.

It was an amazing decision to stay at Shimoda hotel. The location is good. We arrived easily. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable too! Not to mention the dinner that we reserved was very interesting and a spectacle! We were quite lucky because there was fireworks in the area so we saw them from the restaurant in the hotel. I'd say the breakfast is also very worthwhile since there is a variety of food options and some quite unique to Shimoda.

Great hotel with amazing onsen. Smack on the water. You can listen to the waves all day. Staff lovely. Ensure you pre-book dinner and breakfast if needed as we didn't get as didn't pre-book. One of our favourite places to stay. It's our third time

Amazing service and onsen facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor, private and public baths to choose from. There are unlimited drinks from the drinks machines and also other complementary food services. Both the meals, breakfast and dinner, were exquisite. It was great to experience traditional Japanese dining. The traditional Japanese building was like a labyrinth and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many halls and gardens. The location is also great and there are many shops and temples around the area. All in all the perfect place to have a more traditional Japanese experience whilst receiving excellent service.

The public bath at the 14/ F is very nice with mount fuji view if you are lucky. The hotel room is clean and tidy but not a large one even though we booked a room with a large bed. But you know it is Japan. The best thing is the hotel is next to the station.
