"It is one of the biggest ryokans we have visited with a lot of amenities. Guests are mostly Japanese..giving a family/retirement village vibes. Our room came with breakfast and dinner plan - food was delicious and very fresh! One thing to note when booking on Trip is that there are many room types available, but the pictures shown are not accurate!! When I booked my room, the pictures showed an in-room onsen tub-lookalike..and the room descriptions seem to support it too, along with the price. However, when I arrived, the room I was given was not like the pics at all..with no private tub/onsen in the room. We really wanted a private onsen to end our trip on a high, but we were left disappointed. Could not help but feel slightly cheated. We wanted to pay for an upgrade,to get one with in-room onsen but were told all were fully booked.:( so be careful when booking your desired room type."

"Nossa estadia no Morino Sumika foi maravilhosa. Este hotel é provavelmente um dos melhores hotéis (Ryokan) em que já nos hospedamos no Japão. Ficamos muito impressionados com o serviço. Os funcionários são educados e atenciosos, mesmo com a barreira do idioma. Ficamos em um quarto com banheira ao ar livre e varanda com vista para o jardim na encosta e para o próprio hotel. A arquitetura é deslumbrante. Os quartos são espaçosos e maiores do que esperávamos. A distribuição dos quartos é ótima. Ficamos tão impressionados com as instalações do hotel e com tudo o que ele oferece que queríamos passar muito mais tempo lá do que sair.

"以前、愉快リゾートの時に何度もここに宿泊していました。今回は大江戸温泉物語として新しくTAOYA和倉となった当館へ息子と宿泊。館内全て大人びた雰囲気で、全体的に綺麗でとても良かったです。1番良かったのは、料理です。以前とは全然違う。レベルアップしたバイキングと、館内深夜以外はアルコールも飲み放題、ケーキのサービスや、うどんもおかわり自由でとても満足でした。レストランの女性スタッフが特に優しく愛想の良い方がいました。連泊しましたが、息子は大満足で、もう1泊したい！と帰りをとても寂しがっていました。最初、こども広場が無くなっていたのがマイナスだと思ったけども、それを超える全体的な満足度で、本当に行って良かったです。夏休みには3泊4日にしよう！と計画中です。"

"2025年櫻花季日本京都加上北陸地區的酒店前5個都是中評差評，要麼臟要麼吵，終於有一個全5星好評的酒店了．一定要自己官網或請攜程至少提前一天預約加賀温泉到酒店的交通車．我是提前兩天攜程預約的，為客服點贊。加賀温泉站南門按指示走可以看到酒店的車，時間表見最後一張照片，司機禮節周到，途中會有簡單介紹佛像、雪山、名產萬頭娘娘等二十五分鐘到達酒店，賓至如歸，工作人員跪式服務，現在流程很快就辦好，我訂的轉角西式房，很好住陽光明媚，大小正好。酒店大方慷慨，咖啡茶水吧24小時供應，品質優良，太用心了九穀燒茶杯任選，拿鐵咖啡非常好喝，下午茶鐵板燒餐廳現做鬆餅，下午4點歡樂時光五種甜口調製酒提供，由工作人員調配好，好喝，晚上8點提供布丁，8:45山中節藝伎表演，早晨會提供一碟小食也很好吃．晚餐有一排清酒，沒注意是否是清酒自助還是免費，我覺得這個價格這個品質是中上水平了，早餐也是誠意滿滿還有免費清酒提供，餐廳的工作人員都非常熱情周到。我的房間沒有私湯入住時會讓你選擇一個私湯使用50分鐘，大浴場也非常好，空閑下來還可以泡泡足湯，這個性價比我真的挑不出任何毛病。我第二天入住旁邊貴价酒店花紫，除了兩瓶水、一袋咖啡一包棒茶就什麼都沒有了。有歡迎茶其他活動食物一概沒有。吉祥亭真的認真做酒店。唯一酒店有時會有一股淡淡的下水道的味道，另外大量香港旅遊團入住，講話聲音很大。"

GGuest UserLocation: Right next to Omicho Market, about a 15-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, and easily accessible by bus. Kanazawa city center is quite small, and the hotel is about a 10-minute walk to Korinbo, the main shopping district.
Room Layout: Upon entering the hotel, you remove your shoes and walk barefoot, giving it a Japanese onsen hotel feel. The rooms are tatami style, and you switch to slippers when entering the restroom.
Surrounding Environment: I was assigned a room not facing the street, which was quite quiet. The hallway soundproofing, however, was average. One night after midnight, I could clearly hear some Hongkongers speaking loudly in their room.
Service: It was decent. The front desk staff's attitude was fine, but they enforce a policy of cleaning rooms only once every three days or more. If you request daily cleaning, there's an additional charge of 1500 JPY, which is a bit annoying.
Hot Spring Facilities: Pretty good! There's an outdoor onsen and a sauna. The onsen area is quite spacious. After soaking, you get free ice pops, and there's late-night ramen available. It was a very comfortable hot spring experience.

AAnonymous UserI stayed for one nights. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and made for a very comfortable stay. They also gave me detailed information about recommended restaurants in the area. The large public bath was also very spacious, and from the open-air bath I could see the mountain stream through the trees. The sound of the water and the clear air were truly soothing. I expect the cold weather will continue in Yamanaka Onsen for the foreseeable future, so please take care of yourselves, and I hope all the staff members take good care of themselves.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay at the hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. It was a pleasant experience.
Transportation: I took the train from Komatsu Station to Kaga Onsen Station. I had arranged a shuttle service with the hotel via email in advance. You just need to wait at the shuttle bus stop. There are many different shuttle buses for various onsen hotels.
The ride to the hotel takes about 20 minutes.
Hotel Environment and Room: The hotel's decor feels very nice, full of Japanese style. There's a foot bath in the lobby on the first floor that you can enjoy anytime. Also, the lobby offers free coffee, tea, and snacks (pudding in the evening) at different times. Before having coffee, you can choose a coffee cup you like.
The room had a tatami mat and offered views of the clear mountain stream nearby. The weather wasn't good during my stay, so I just stayed in the room and didn't explore the surroundings.
Food: Dinner was very abundant and filling, with very fresh seafood. Breakfast mainly consisted of porridge or rice with some small side dishes.
Onsen: The baths switch genders in the early morning. One side has an indoor + outdoor bath, and the other has an indoor + semi-outdoor bath. Both are worth experiencing and are very therapeutic! Afterward, there are free small ice pops in four flavors. Additionally, hotel guests can book a private bath once for free, with three options, but they are a bit small.
Oh, and the hotel offers so many yukata choices! It's fantastic, wearing them for photos was incredibly satisfying!

The hotel's service is meticulous and considerate, and the staff and driver are kind and kind throughout the whole process. GGuest UserThis is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Kaga Onsen in Komatsu; I've stayed here a total of five times. That's how satisfied I am with their service, the quality of their hot springs, and the variety of food they offer. They even provide unlimited snacks, onsen eggs, drinks, and potatoes throughout the day, which is so good you barely need a full meal. There are three different hot spring baths, and since they operate on a rotating schedule for men and women, you get to experience all the different tubs. The facilities are well-maintained and spotless. I highly recommend it! The staff are all incredibly friendly, giving you a true taste of Japanese hospitality.

GGuest UserLook no further, Mori no Sumika Resort and Spa is absolutely wonderful! The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, the property to include the hot springs baths is excellent - the food offerings for breakfast and dinner changes each day, the chef serving the freshest seafood, meats, vegetables. It’s a beautiful place that you’ll never want to leave and for sure come back to sooner than later.

GGuest UserThis onsen is a popular place for Japanese tourists. We were nearly the only westerners there. It was a real cultural experience for us. The staff were very welcoming and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner. We went there to relax and experience the onsen. Our room was comfortable and clean with a great view of the forest valley. We were constantly surprised at the extras that were available. There is a well maintained games room, the teas available after bathing and drinks in the lobby area. We also made use of the free electric bikes to explore the area.
They bathing areas, male and female, has 3 baths, a cold bath and sauna. We are now big fans of onsen bathing.
If you are wanting a different experience to the city I would highly recommend this onsen.

RR ToroHakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character. It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded. They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. Rooms are large and well appointed and everything in the fridge - water, tea, orange juice and beers are free and topped up everyday. The stained glass in the lobby area and in the rooms are nice touched included the very nice pottery ware used for breakfast! Breakfast buffet spread is both western and Japanese and they even now have sparkling wine and sake for breakfast!
Definitely has character!
