Guest UserLast year, in early August, the same room cost around 1700, but this year, booking two months in advance, it was only a little over 500. Honestly, the hotel being so affordable was a major reason why I came back to visit again.
The bathroom has a standard Japanese-style wet/dry separation, which even some much pricier hotels I stayed in later didn't offer. The amenities included something for relaxing your feet, haha, it still makes me laugh thinking about it!
If you check in early, you can request a room with a view of Universal Studios.
Universal Citywalk is right downstairs.
There's enough space to lay out two 32-inch suitcases flat.

We have booked Tokyu Stay hotels in the past, and this room is by far the best one we have stayed in. Will visit again in the future.

Guest UserRight next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want.

Travel Minds• Heart •EyesI recently stayed at Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka and had a mixed experience.
One of the main concerns is that the room lighting is quite dim, which may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone who prefers a brighter environment. It can feel uncomfortable, especially at night.
Another downside is that many basic items come with extra charges. Bottled water is only provided complimentary once; after that, each bottle costs around 300 yen, which feels unnecessary for a hotel at this level.
Service-wise, I was disappointed that there was no assistance offered for carrying luggage, even when a wheelchair user was present. This level of service does not meet expectations for hospitality.
On the positive side, the in-room washing machine is very convenient and works well, especially for longer stays.
Overall, while the hotel has some useful facilities, the service and comfort level could be improved, particularly for elderly guests

KrisyyieExit 18 at Honmachi Station has an elevator, but it's a bit of a walk. If you don't have luggage, Exit 14 is closer. I saw some reviews complaining about the inconvenience of having to go up to the 16th floor every time, but since I wasn't in a rush, it wasn't an issue for me. The triple room was very spacious, and we could open all three suitcases. The only minor point is that it would be better if the bathroom door was frosted glass. That way, it wouldn't be awkward if someone was showering while another person was using the toilet.

The location is very convenient, with JR lines directly to the airport and Expo, Osaka Loop Line and Midosuji Line directly to the city center. There is a large 7-11 and a Café de Cabrera downstairs. A five-minute walk will take you to a super large Life supermarket, which sells sashimi, bento, and cooked food. For breakfast, there are a variety of packaged breads, rice balls, drinks and soups, as well as yogurt pudding and yogurt, but you have to go early, as there will be no choice after 8:30. You can take your breakfast back to your room and eat it without taking it out of the hotel. Free umbrellas are provided when it rains. There is no bottled water in the room, only a kettle. Ice can be picked up on the 8th floor. There is coffee and tea bags available for pick-up in the lobby. The hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and skin care product samples need to be purchased for 500 yen. The hygiene is very good. The auntie cleans the room very carefully. She will put everything away and put it back in place, and help fold clothes. There is only one chair in the 4-person room, it would be better if there were one or two more chairs. After 10pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel, which is quite safe.

Kien HawI had a wonderful stay at **Hinode Osaka** overall, and I'd definitely recommend it, especially for couples.
The amenities are easily **10/10**. The hotel offers so many complimentary perks, including free alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, ice cream, laundry facilities, and a hot spring (onsen). These little extras really made the stay feel great value for money.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Although I didn't interact with them much after check-in, the entire process was smooth and efficient. Since we mentioned that this was a birthday trip, they even prepared a small gift for us, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.
The location is another huge plus. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and **Tsutenkaku Tower** is only about a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient for sightseeing and food hunting.
The only downside, in my opinion, is that the hotel seems to accommodate many tour groups. We noticed buses of tourists arriving almost every day. During peak hours, the hot spring could get extremely crowded—we couldn't even get in at times. The complimentary late-night ramen was also very popular, and we often had to wait around 10–15 minutes just to find a couple of seats.
Overall, I'd highly recommend Hinode Osaka for couples looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent amenities. For families, however, be prepared for the crowds, as the hotel can feel quite overwhelming when multiple tour groups are around.

From the moment I stepped through the hotel entrance, I felt right at home! Every single staff member treated guests with genuine care and attentiveness. The room size was also the biggest I've ever had in all my trips to Japan! The pajamas provided by the turndown service were incredibly comfortable too! The hotel's night view is also one of the best around. Highly, highly recommend!

The hotel's location is a bit off the beaten path, but transportation is still convenient. It's a 10-minute walk to Tenmabashi. The complimentary cookies at check-in were delicious! The room layout is well-designed; we could fit a stroller and open two large suitcases comfortably. Plus, the baby cot was free, though it needed to be reserved in advance.

Guest UserWe booked this hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice! The location is fantastic — it’s directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station via the B2-level underground walkway. There are also endless shopping spots along Shinsaibashi-suji.
The views from our room were absolutely stunning. Everything feels brand new and modern. Highly recommend for a special occasion in Osaka!
