After half a month of traveling, this is by far the most comfortable place I've stayed. The decor has its own unique style, not like those generic hotels you see everywhere. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the lighting and little trinkets. Plus, all the amenities work perfectly and are super convenient – everything you need is there. The shower has great water pressure, the hairdryer is effective, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. It's perfect whether you're relaxing in or heading out to explore. For this price, getting all these perks is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next summer.

總體來説中規中矩，不會踩雷 設施：該有的都有 衞生：衞生可以 環境：在大佛寺附近，去明清街也不遠，酒店內裝修還可以，就是對面窗景色差了點，房間格局還ok，浴室稍微暗了點。早餐是在背後的青果酒店吃，順帶一句青果的大堂裝潢不錯。早餐夠吃，不是很豐富，就是早餐是7點半開始，對於一大早要趕行程的人不太友善 服務：一般般吧，幾乎沒有，套餐説有下午茶我也沒吃到，前台也沒説。

Just 10 mins walk from the main train station. The hotel is amazing, befitting its international brand name. The layout of the bed, tables, internal decor, cleanliness, the thought put into the buttons for control of lighting, plus the placement and availability of sockets is in line of what I would expect for ”Hilton”. It has on-screen monitoring (in the room) of the laundry and dryer, negating the need to physically stay in the laundry room. Love the breakfast ! It has lamb and beef steak for breakfast. Good varieties of fruits, yoghurts and Chinese cuisine. I wonder why Hilton doesn't have similar hotels for other silk road cities such as Dunhuang or Jiayuguan. The reception staff is prompt and helpful in directions. Probably the only downside I can think of is lack of proper restaurants near or inside the hotel. We had to take a taxi or walk in 3 km (in -10C freezing cold) to get to the nearest mall. However, there is a mid-size convenient store adjacent to the hotel (across the traffic light junction). Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Worth paying the premium.

As instalações são completas e o serviço é excelente. Ao visitar Dunhuang, é imprescindível hospedar-se em um hotel tradicional como este para vivenciar verdadeiramente a cultura local. Principalmente por ter sido recentemente renovado, as comodidades básicas do quarto são de primeira linha. As toalhas são excepcionalmente grossas e macias, o fluxo de água quente é forte e há condicionador disponível para acalmar cabelos embaraçados e ressecados. O chuveiro possui um grande piso de mármore antiderrapante. A paleta de cores do hotel imita os pigmentos minerais dos murais de Dunhuang, e a chave do quarto é uma lembrança única. Na minha primeira noite em Dunhuang, minha garganta estava irritada devido ao ressecamento, e quando reclamei, a equipe imediatamente trouxe um umidificador para o meu quarto. Depois de explorar as Dunas Cantantes, eu estava coberto de areia, e lavar as mãos não foi suficiente. A lavanderia self-service me limpou instantaneamente, provando que lavar as mãos realmente não remove as bactérias. Estava um frio de rachar lá fora, mas o lobby tinha água quente, café e biscoitos — perfeito para explorar as Grutas de Mogao e Yulin e depois desfrutar de uma boa refeição no mercado noturno. Este hotel também fica perto do mercado noturno, fazendo jus ao seu estatuto de marco histórico. Com certeza voltarei a Dunhuang com a minha família no próximo ano e reservarei este hotel novamente.

Os funcionários da recepção são educados, entusiasmados e atenciosos. Todos são alegres e simpáticos, especialmente Xiaodou. 👍. Não importa o quão tarde seja, a recepção resolverá todos os seus problemas com rapidez e eficiência, e eles também retornarão a ligação. 👍. As instalações do quarto são novas, limpas e arrumadas. O serviço do restaurante também é ótimo. O transporte é conveniente e a viagem é fácil... Nota máxima 💯

This hotel looked incredible! From top to bottom, it was clear that the designers took style seriously. The rooms gave off a sense of luxury that few other hotels in this process range have. The carpets, floors, doors, cabinets, beds etc. emitted a sense of tranquility, which made me feel very comfortable. Also, after travelling around China for nearly a month, I can say that this was by far the best breakfast I've had at roughly a dozen hotels. The staff were professional, everything was very clean, and the location could not have been better. My only issues: there was no air conditioning, and my room was very hot at night. Additionally, when the rooms next to you are watching television, you can hear everything in your room.

Honestly, when you come to Dunhuang, there's no need to rush from one attraction to another every single day! This time, I deliberately chose this guesthouse tucked away in a village, mainly to slow down, relax, and just chill. The overall experience was really therapeutic, but there are a few honest critiques I want to share to help future visitors. First, let's talk about the major positives! The location truly exceeded my expectations. It's not in the bustling city center; instead, it's hidden in a village, completely avoiding the crowds and traffic of the city. It's peaceful and quiet, not noisy at all, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed vacation. It's also not far from Mingsha Mountain and Mogao Grottoes, and taxis are readily available whenever you step out, making it super convenient to get to attractions without having to wake up early or squeeze onto a crowded bus. The value for money for accommodation is also great. For around 300 RMB per person, you can stay in a courtyard room with two large beds, offering excellent privacy. It's really pleasant to sit in your private little courtyard and have afternoon tea. I have to praise the memory foam pillows provided; they're just the right balance of soft and firm, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of traveling – a huge plus point! The guesthouse itself has an Instagram-worthy cafe. The freshly ground coffee is excellent. There are several spots for afternoon tea, including a sandy area, a pool, and an orchard. Sipping coffee and taking photos with the cool breeze from the desert makes every shot look like a professional, atmospheric photo, instantly bringing a sense of relaxation. In the evening, there's also a stargazing platform. Far from city lights, you can look up and see a sky full of stars, instantly melting away all your travel fatigue. You don't have to worry about food either. While there aren't many restaurants within walking distance, the guesthouse can arrange customized local specialty meals. Having a BBQ or hotpot in the courtyard feels so special. If you don't feel like moving, delivery services for takeout are also very fast, perfectly satisfying any lazy traveler. Now, for a few honest minor complaints – consider these if you're particular: Since it's in a village, there aren't many shops along the street nearby, so it's not very convenient to just go out for a casual stroll, snack, or buy groceries. However, anything you need can be ordered for delivery. The temperature difference between morning and evening is significant, and it can get quite windy in the courtyard. Remember to bring a light jacket if you plan to have outdoor afternoon tea. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. This place is perfect for those who don't like rushing from one attraction to another, prefer peace and quiet, and are looking for atmosphere, healing, and a truly relaxing and laid-back vacation.

We stayed in this hotel as the base to see the Colourful Mountains. The hotel is old which is ok but it is not as clean as many guests have described. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom is patched up. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for nonsmokers as we are because there is smoking in the common areas. The entire hotel including the rooms smell of stale smoke which have seeped into the carpets and furnishings. You constantly feel choked up with fresh and stale cigarette smoke throughout the entire stay. That said, this viewpoint may be our problem because we are visitors from a country that has banned smoking in enclosed public spaces and it is what we are accustomed to. On another note, the service and hospitality was excellent and we thank the hotel team for this.

Our stay was excellent. We arrived at night, very tired after a long journey, and were warmly and efficiently welcomed. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The service provided by all the staff—from reception to housekeeping and the breakfast area—was consistently kind and professional. A great advantage was the self-service laundry facilities, which allowed us to wash our clothes conveniently. Another highlight was the varied buffet breakfast: everything was fresh and delicious, and we truly enjoyed it—trying a few new dishes for the first time! The location is outstanding, just across from the station. We would gladly stay here again without hesitation and will certainly recommend it.
