No geral, está ok. Segunda vez lá em 2 meses. Desta vez, reservei 3 quartos king size. Um pouco decepcionado, pois o check-in de um quarto atrasou até as 16h. Mas tive que dar crédito a eles para tentar atender a todos os pedidos. O quarto tinha alguns defeitos. Espero que eles sejam avisados ​​sobre os danos. A vista para o rio era incrível. Mas o café da manhã tinha pouca variedade. Piscina incrível com playground ao lado da piscina.

It’s a spontaneous trip that we booked the room before we check google reviews. Yet we are aware of the different way of check in. Apparently it’s under awanjiwa management of the *air-bnb* style of room which is the same hotel as The pines. First, If there is choice i may direct book frm the pines , we tried once under the shore & the swiss garden same thing yet also unforgettable trip 😅 I would say hotel charge the prices will assure give the best services maybe . We consider lucky that awanjiwa person in charge is nice and responsible. We got some hicups on the check in and got settle to change another room as u can see frm photos the disaster of the first room we got i told the PIC only the bed and the sink is clean others is all dusty 😵💫 We got changed to another better condition rooms also with some stain on the table n cupboard so i had to clean myself before place anything in. Its not that bad tho, but i would say im not an airbnb guest . 😅 and its feel really weird when u stay in hotel but its like so weird u cant park in the same unit and u just dont feel u are away for a trip as the place u check in like ur neighbor home kind of feel .

The hotel’s location is absolutely excellent—right in the heart of Jonker Walk. Everything is just steps away, whether you want to explore the night market, enjoy local food, or grab a casual drink in the evening. It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay. One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room. The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste. The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay. Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!

The check-in process necessitates roadside parking prior to accessing the designated car park, which can lead to traffic congestion. The hotel's car park, located on levels 7 and 8, involves a rather arduous ascent. The premises comprise four blocks; two are residential, and two are hotel accommodations managed by separate entities. The room itself is spacious, featuring two beds, and is maintained to a clean and tidy standard. While there are four lifts, their operation is slow, and a transfer is required to reach the car park. Breakfast, a makeshift buffet of local, low-quality food, was provided; however, during my three-day stay, I opted for it only once as it was largely unexceptional.

O hotel tem uma localização estratégica. O quarto era bom, exceto por algumas manchas no edredom. Havia um dispenser de sabonete no chuveiro, que presumimos ser de sabonete líquido (para cabelo e corpo), já que não havia rótulo nem xampu no banheiro. Não interagimos muito com os funcionários do hotel, pois passamos o dia todo fora, mas a recepcionista foi muito gentil e nos explicou sobre a Taxa de Turismo. 👍

Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning. 1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use. 2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical. 3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom. 4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved. 5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night. 6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating. 7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup. On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved. The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations.

Reservei UMA sala com dois leitos de REI para UMA estadia de 2 noites com a minha família. Prop: 1. Dimensão espaçosa do quarto 2. camas confortáveis 3. Bela vista (podemos ver toda a cidade e nossa janela estava enfrentando o mar) 4. Estacionamento gratuito 5. 10-15 minutos a pé para a Cruzada do rio 6. Não há problemAs com ascensores. Apenas algumas notas adicionais para viajantes : (Se você não quiser o serviço de quartos para limpar seus quartos bc você não se importa reutilizar seus toalhas, você não será capaz de receber as garrafas de água de complimentar. Para famílias com carros, (if) você precisa viajar de volta e de volta entre o hotel e fora, você sempre precisa parar pelo lobby counter para validar seu bilhete de estacionamento para obter estacionamento gratuito e é válido apenas por 15 minutos (mais do que tempo suficiente).

A localização é de aproximadamente 8 minutos de Grab até a Jonker Street. Bem central. Em frente ao hotel fica a rua de alimentação, que fica aberta até tarde. Tem uma loja 7-Eleven 24 horas. Dá para chegar ao shopping Aeon em cerca de 8 minutos de Grab. Basicamente, usamos o Grab para ir a todos os lugares, e as tarifas são bem acessíveis. O café da manhã é aceitável, com uma boa variedade. O quarto é um pouco pequeno para nós, com duas camas de solteiro pequenas. O estacionamento do hotel é gratuito, o que é um ponto positivo para quem escolhe se hospedar aqui. O segurança do estacionamento cuida dos carros, o que nos dá uma sensação de segurança.

It was nice staying here, and compared to Dec 2024. It's been so much better for the service rendered. Keep it up! The Location is superd and we loves it, 5 mins walk to Jonker street, do not even need to drive over. As the parking at Jonker is limited and during Friday to Sunday, it will be packed. So with the short distance walk, you can save alot of trouble finding carparks lots. The room is clean and nice, looks like the pictures in the portal as well.

A proper hotel with its own parking compund. The hotel is quite new, with sufficient facilities like swimming pool and gym area. The room is spacious and complete with the basic toiletries. The aircond was good and cleanliness of the whole room is average. The only small problem with my room was the shower area. There's some sort of blockage with the drain but overall the shower experience was good with steady strong current flow. Overall, this hotel is very well worth the price of slightly above RM100.
