The hotel has good rooms with a fantastic breakfast and decent location. We did have one major issue with a school group that ran up and down the halls all night, banging on the doors, screaming and slamming doors. We brought up this issue several times with the hotel staff and nothing was done about it. This ended up costing us a day of exploring the city because we needed to sleep when they finally stopped at 7am. There are other reviews with similar issues so I would be cautious about booking here if you don't want to have similar issues.

Hotel’s staff are really friendly and helpful. Hotel is quite new, and worth the price we paid. Location is a short drive from town, and there are some nearby eateries.
Breakfast spread is good and the roof terrace has a good view. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. But it can do with a luggage stand.

Nach dem Check-In stellten wir fest, dass wir ein Zimmer mit direktem Pool-Zugang und somit auch mit etwas Meerblick hatten. Die Freude währte aber nur sehr kurz, denn es war ein Zimmer mit einer Verbindungstür und in dem anderen Zimmer war ein Fenster offen. Dadurch pfiff der Wind im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes in unser Zimmer. Zwar konnte die sehr nette und zuvorkommende Patricia von der Rezeption das Fenster schnell schliessen, Ruhe war dadurch aber noch nicht gegeben. Denn wir konnten leider, als kurz darauf die Gäste des anderen Zimmers zurück kamen, jedes Wort verstehen und sogar hören, wie sie auf die Toilette gingen (trotz verschlossener Verbindungstür). Sogar die externe Masseuse, die in der Zwischenzeit eingetroffen war, entschuldigte sich bei uns für die Lautstärke aus dem Zimmer nebenan, obwohl sie nicht beim Hotel angestellt war. Wir konnten dann nach der Massage aber unkompliziert in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen, was zwar zur Strasse ging, aber dennoch bedeutend ruhiger war.
Ansonsten war das Frühstück leider etwas überschaubar, kein Speck, Würste oder ähnliches, eine Sorte Aufschnitt, dafür frisch gepresster O-Saft (auf Zuteilung, nicht zur Selbstbedienung) und ein toller Ausblick auf den Hafen und das Meer.

很乾凈整潔的商務酒店，酒店位置就在市中心步行10分鐘就可以去老城區以及港口拍攝日落日出。甘尼亞附近住宿很不錯的一個酒店，值得推薦。唯一的問題是酒店自己的車位需要提前預訂如果沒有預訂附近的車位要20多歐一個晚上。

The hotel is pretty clean and modern. We found the beds to be very comfy and the hotel's location was pretty convenient near the old town and port areas. The rooms are well appointed with a couple of chairs, a work area, a coffee/tea station, big TV and a large bathroom. There were enough plugs around the room and many switches with light settings to get it just right. We appreciated the balcony and the view outside but there were some cars that drove by with very loud music each night. The only significant complaint we had was that the bathroom shower leaked very easily in our rooms and got the floor wet near the toilet. The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good with a variety of Crete foods like cheese and pastries. There was fresh scrambled eggs and a very good sausage available as well. The breakfast also had a large variety of preserved fruits that paired well with the Greek yoghurt and included oranges, cherries, grapes and figs. We appreciated that the hotel had inexpensive parking nearby at Central Parking which was 7 Euros per day with unlimited in/out privileges as long as we got a stamp when we got in. The hotel also had a restaurant that offered room service and there was a popular cafe just across the street. This hotel was a good base for exploring Crete with a convenient location near the airport and the price was very fair for us.

I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb over them to get around.
The air con had mould growing out of it and left the room smelling awful.
We were also only given two towels which are only changed once every three days, it would have been nice to get a hand towel so you aren't using the one towel for everything. This is also the case for pool towels they are only changed once every three days.
I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers.
I would not say that our room was 4 stars but that may have been based on the bigger rooms that are available.

Outstanding
Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day. Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

The hotel itself is pretty good, clean with tasty food offered. Very nice and extremely friendly staff. Special thanks to the manager Christina, without her efforts our stay would’ve been totally ruined because of trip.com’s partial incompetence. The description was incorrect: 1. “Adults only” says the name, which, in fact, isn’t at all. There were couple of incidents with some children staying at Dionyssos in addition to the crying baby on our floor. 2. Trip.com failed to pass my request regarding the view, according to the first room we were offered and the hotel’s manager. The room was with no view, as you can see in the picture. 3. Pictures! For some reason the description contained exterior photos from a different hotel! Which was found out only after checking in. 🤦🏼♀️ In reality the small pool is not secluded, every passing by stranger can observe you, as the see-through-fence is the only separation between you and the road next to the hotel.

Amazing
Absolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Really enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier. Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!

GGuest UserWe booked the Hotel for 3 nights.Hotel was overbooked. In the 3 days we could not actually move into our booked room. We had to move 3 times!! Customer service is non existant and the staff does not care about the customer`s desires. Manager Yiannys refused to talk to customers and acted like a real, i mean real ***** At the end we accepted a free night in the apartment building from Anna s house in town without a pool. The pictures in the internet do not reflect the true appearence of Annas house, which was only 1 out of 4 hotels that they use. Every day people complained and were moved from hotel to hotel with golfcarts. It was impossible to miss all this happening. Never had a worse situation than this in my whole life.
