The hotel is reasonably comfortable, the service friendly and helpful and the beds are quite good, really. However, there are just too many services that I would expect from a hotel in this price category which were missing, or come with an extra charge. Most importantly, the access to the spa is an extra fee, a bottle of water costs extra... That the bathroom wasn't very well cleaned (hair from previous occupants all over the place!) was probably a fluke, but still should not happen in a hotel in this price range. On the other hand, the proximity to the train station, a short walk to the old city and a lot of good restaurants nearby speak for the hotel (this also allows to give the rather overpriced breakfast a pass) speak for the place. All in all: a very mixed experience. I would probably still look for a different place net time I go to Antwerp.

Brilliant hotel! Central location, parking near by and helpful with locations and maps. The room was excellent, super clean, modern, tea and coffee facilities. Cocktails on the bar with snacks in the evening was lovely. Breakfast was fab! Kids loved the make your own waffle station! Definitely recommend this hotel! No faults at all!

The lighting in the room was too dim, making it difficult to apply makeup. Overall, the room was quite spacious and well-equipped, though the decor was a bit dated. The first room I was assigned hadn't been cleaned yet, so I had to switch to another one. Parking nearby was convenient and free.

This is a very old hotel with well-maintained facilities. The most important thing is that there is a Christmas market and an ice skating rink downstairs, which the children love very much. The taste and service of the restaurant in the market are very good. The Christmas atmosphere is very good. The hotel is next to the Carrefour supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing snacks and fruits. It is just that you need to take a detour to get a taxi to Antwerp Central Station. If you don't need to take a taxi with your children, there are actually buses and subways downstairs, which is very convenient. You must stay here again when you come to Antwerp

Very close to Antwerp Station, it’s a beautiful station. Room is fine and staff is helpful. There is free parking nearby hotel from 10pm-9am.

Great hotel in an old monastery church. My ”charming” room was great, especially the church windows. The bed was very comfortable. - The hotel is small but fine. There are no other hotel facilities except a small bar. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the altar area is only used for breakfast. Breakfast is of high quality, even if the choice might be somewhat greater. I enjoyed my stay and would live there again at any time if I travel to mechels again.

Wonderful hotel! The lobby is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a delightful aroma. The rooms are spacious and clean. We would especially return for the breakfast; it offered a wide selection, fresh ingredients, and everything was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful.
