its very beautiful traditional building from the outside. but the interior is modern. its in the center, easy to access to crowded and animated places. At nightime, the place shine beautifullly, a picture snapshot spot. The room is spaciouse, otherwise it is quiet expensive.

No entanto, não há frigobar nem cofre nos quartos; chaleira, chá e café são fornecidos. Unfortunately, the overall stay was not great. When we booked the hotel, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, which is essential for us because of health issues. After double confirming with the hotel that they have non-smoking rooms (based on the website, all rooms are non smoking), we paid for our booking. However, shortly after, they informed us that smoking in hotel rooms is common and unavoidable in Taiyuan. We felt deceived into making the payment and realized we were stuck with this accommodation for our 7-day stay. Upon checking in, we had to request a room change due to a strong smoke smell in the original room. The second room was better and the hotel staff was nice enough to provide an air purifier. Throughout our entire stay, people were smoking in the elevator, lobby, and even at the dinner table. If we had known this beforehand, we would have reconsidered staying here. For a 5-star hotel, it did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we paid far too much for this experience. The only highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and did their very best to serve the guests, which made our trip a bit more enjoyable. We thank them for their excellent service.

My room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view. Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try. The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain! The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

This hotel was okay. The trip.com description makes it appear as though this property has a laundry room and supplies laundry detergent. They do not have a laundry room and charge extremely high prices to launder guests' clothing. If you were counting on being able to do laundry, as I was, this is something to be aware of.

Quando cheguei a Yuncheng pela primeira vez, não esperava ficar num bom hotel com instalações e serviços satisfatórios. O pessoal do hotel é muito atento, ainda melhor do que hotéis de cinco estrelas em cidades de primeira linha. Me sinto em casa.Se eu voltar a Yuncheng na próxima vez, será sem dúvida minha primeira escolha.

Desta vez, quando cheguei a Shanxi, escolhi o Yungang Hotel em Datong.O hotel tem um ambiente novo e a decoração é muito bonita. A casa de banho é muito confortável.Depois de cozinhar e lavar, é muito relaxante e há também uma sala de descanso. O pequeno-almoço era um pouco monótono, mas o jantar era muito rico.Senti especialmente que o pessoal de serviço no jantar de 6 de Setembro, Sra. Wang Gailin, era muito atencioso e acessível. O quarto duplo que escolhi para ficar neste momento é muito bonito. A lâmpada de cristal e o mármore são muito atraentes. O design da banheira aberta é um pouco desconfortável para famílias individuais. Não havia mensageiro quando fiz o check-in. This time I stayed at the Wangjiubao Hotel and it felt great! Completely exceeded expectations. The hotel is in a very beautiful castle. The room is very spacious. Events, from the hotel as the starting point, The end point is the north entrance of the Anmenguan, so it is also very lively. Recommended!

This hotel is almost next to the airport terminal, super convenient for early morning flight. It is clean and service is excellent. Manager on duty - Han, Yueliu helped arrange a room in the main buidling, which is what I preferred. Everything went well. Will stay here again next time when I come back.

I booked two rooms for 4, and we were given rooms beside each other. We arrived late at night around 9.30pm and check in went smoothly. Rooms were very comfortable and were equipped with SMART tech with voice activation! We were also able to check out a little later upon request since our train left later in the afternoon. I also had packages delivered to the reception and had no issues. Location was great and easy to explore the ancient city and also to see the main wall itself. One thing to note is that there isn't a formal drop off point but you can definitely get dropped off and picked up along the side of the road. The room layout was slightly different than the images on Trip.com (I booked a Double bedroom with courtyard view with a stay voucher), but the room was good too although I would have preferred the toilet configuration in the photos. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Datong. They also have a bakery at the lobby and it gets sold out pretty quickly!
