Hotéis Beach em Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil

Loved the location. The service was also nice. But the rooms already need some reparations. Also didn’t have enough vegitables flor the breakfast

Location is great, right at Copacabana beach. The hotel has its own cafe at the beach, where you can get towels and chairs/umbrellas (subject to availability though). Lots of various restaurants and cafes nearby, couple of supermarkets within a walking distance. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than check-in time, but the room was ready, which was nice. And in general the staff was great. The breakfast is the same during all the stay. Nothing special, but plenty of food is available. The room is a bit dated, but has all necessary things (kettle, coffee machine, fridge, safe, etc) and the view is magnificent. Nice small pool on the top floor. During our stay it was not crowded, but probably during the peak periods the size could be an issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good hotel, nice location, amazing view with a really nice roof bar and pool. The breakfast has a great variety of pastries, sweets, cakes, and drinks options. The staff were very friendly, especially Ana in the reception, very attentive and helpful. I would recommend it.

I liked the location of the hotel - the first line, but also in the best place relative to the beach line, shops and restaurants. I am very happy with the hotel, I liked the room, it had everything I needed, there was also a view of the beach of Copocobana. The staff at the reception spoke excellent English, answered my questions and helped. In the evening, it is pleasant to spend time on the rooftop terrace in the bar with a beautiful view. You can also get a beach towel and go to the beach opposite the hotel. Good breakfast.

I booked JW Marriott Copacabana because, surprisingly, the price wasn’t much higher than nearby 3–4 star hotels. The location is truly premium, right on Copacabana Beach and the rooftop overlooks the entire beach, which is a huge plus. My room faced the inside of the building, so I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time for privacy, which made the room quite dark. That said, the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were generally nice, but everything felt quite slow check-in, check-out, room service requests, and even housekeeping. Breakfast was good in quality but exactly the same every day. Getting a table in the morning was also frustratingly slow; at one point around 10 people were waiting, and it took about 10 minutes just to be seated. The rooftop views are amazing, but the design is honestly very awkward and outdated. The pool is at the back with almost no view, when it could easily have been a stunning infinity pool. The bar area felt cheap, and the thick glass panels and wide columns made it hard to enjoy the view or take good photos. The whole rooftop design felt very old-fashioned. Overall, the hotel feels stuck in time. It’s a bit sad, because with such an incredible location, a modern renovation could easily make this one of the best hotels in the world. For the price I paid, I was still satisfied, but it definitely didn’t feel like a true luxury experience.

The rooms are a bit dated. In my case, we had to request service for the air conditioning system because it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. The facilities are fine, and the breakfast is basic but comprehensive. Parking is paid separately from your stay.

I had a great stay at Hotel Atlântico Rio! They kindly allowed me to check in a few hours early, which made a big difference after a long journey. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional throughout my visit. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with plenty of options to start the day right. One of the best parts is the location — just a short walk to Copacabana Beach, perfect for catching the sunrise. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Rio.

It was all fine. Near the beach Thanks to Vicente, Uanderson, Fernando and Patrick are super-attentional employees.

Very good breakfast (best waiter: Thiago - what a great person) Superb Location However, I am still upset with the reception team. On one night, there was a big party outside and it was impossible to sleep during the night. Having complained about the loud noise, the reception staffer told me that he would call the police. Nothing changed and on the next day, the hotel did not communicate at all with us about this incident. When I proactively asked for a discount on our dues, the reception staff wrote me lengthy messages that it was not in their control. For me, if you really care about your guests, you ask your neighbors to lower their music volume. They wrote me long messages how they really care about their guests, but if they do not follow through with these statements, better not make them in the first place. The hotel has seen better days and not only did a stair case step break during our way just in front of our room (not repaired until our departure), but my girlfriend also stepped into a broken mosaic in the cold outside pool with her foot.

The superior room is solid, ours was quiet, decent size, shower was hot and plenty of water, and the room was very clean. (Avoid the standard rooms - very tiny). The location is excellent, but then the same is true for pretty much every Hotel on the beach/ Av Atlantica. If you stay here, get a room with an ocean view. Otherwise don't bother. The hotel lacks character, the restaurant has no view, the facilities are clearly under-dimensioned for the number of guests (if you go down for breakfast at 8am, even 7:45am, there will be a wait for a table, they even have a message on the elevator), the pool area is oversold in the pictures. There are a total of 6 tables in the pool area and 4 loungers. You can never find a place to sit, unless you get there very early. They also ”nickel-and-dime” you, expresso coffee is extra, beach chairs and umbrella are not included in your stay and we were charged for minibar items every though we replaced them. Do I recommend it? Well, if you understand what you're getting, yes. Would I go back there? No.
