The facilities are excellent and the conditions are superb, plus there's a sea view. The breakfast quality is incredibly high, almost impeccable. My only suggestion: Currently, the hotel provides a video showing the pick-up spot for the return shuttle from Disneyland. However, by the time you leave Disneyland, it's already dark and hard to see the way. Also, after a full day of fun, foreign tourists might have run out of battery or data. I recommend simply providing a Google Maps location. This way, it can be navigated offline.

Overall, my recent trip to Japan was greatly overshadowed by my experience staying at a Toyoko INN branch, so I am writing to share this feedback. During check-in, a male staff member with short hair and a floral shirt made me feel extremely uncomfortable with his attitude. When serving the foreign guest in front of me, he was enthusiastic and detailed throughout, explaining all the facilities and services. However, the moment it was my turn, his attitude instantly turned cold, and there was almost no communication at all. This stark contrast made me feel discriminated against. To my surprise, I ran into him again at check-out. Having stayed at Toyoko INN in Osaka multiple times before, I knew that checking out usually just meant inserting the room key into the machine with no extra steps required. This time, however, he insisted that I use the machine to scan my passport. When my scan produced no response from the machine, I tried a second one and successfully completed the check-out. Yet, the issue didn't end there. He demanded in Japanese that I present ”the other room key” to scan the passport. I clearly replied in Japanese that ”there is only one room key, and the check-out is already done,” but he kept pestering me. Finally, he even muttered, ”Shinjitemasu” (I believe you), with a distinctly skeptical tone, as if I were lying or intentionally trying to get away with something. I was rushing to catch a flight at the time and didn't have time to argue, but the more I thought about it afterward, the more upset I felt. I understand that a machine malfunction or another guest's actions might have caused a misunderstanding, but regardless, such unwarranted harassment should never happen to a guest who checks in and checks out properly. As a loyal, long-term guest of Toyoko INN, this experience has left me deeply disappointed. If I visit Tokyo again, I will seriously reconsider whether to choose Toyoko. I hope the hotel management takes this kind of service issue seriously to prevent other guests from having a similarly terrible experience.

Location was great! right by the west exit for JR Chiba station - very luggage friendly station as well a 24hr Lawson right outside the 2nd floor entrance and a 7/11 down on the ground floor. Staff were polite, easy self storage for luggage by the check in area. Self check in was great, amenities and robes by the elevator before heading up and overall loation is perfect for sightseeing and oneward travels to and from Narita airport or into Tokyo.

We were looking forward to the The Farm stay to end our fiat Japan trip. We were 3 kids below 10 and 2 adults. The best parts of the trip were, 1. Staff - mai and Narumi were very helpful. Mai especially took a lot of trouble to explain everything at the farm by using Google translate. Even the staff at the cafe at breakfast time and reception were all very very nice, though I don’t have their names. 2. Hot springs - was super experience and we loved it. Everything clean and proper and very comfortable, even though we were walking around naked. 3. Rooms- I stayed at Habita. It was good and kids loved it quite a bit. The loft, the futon on top, though the projector didn’t work too well. 4. Strawberry farm trip was amazing. The strawberries were all super nice and melting in the mouth with the right textures and flavours. Even better if? 1. BBQ- we wanted to do a bbq. Habita package didn’t come with free BBQ. The cost to do one was crazy expensive. 3,300 per adult and 2,200 per child just for ‘equipment’ cost. That’s 13,000yen or around USD80, without any meats or anything. Felt really excessive, so we opted out. 2. Board and card games- our family wanted to play some board games and there were plenty of those at the reception. When we asked if we could get a pack of UNO, we were told it was only for the ‘cottage’ occupants. Considering most of the property was empty, it was a bit sad that they did not allow us a pack to play with. 3. Though not the fault of the property, the lack of any public transport and the very taxi costs to outside world for anything was a negative. It would have been even better if they could arrange a couple of more shuttles to narita or to local town etc.

I booked this hotel for an event at Makuhari Messe. While it's not as close as the APA by Kaihin-Makuhari, the rooms, facilities, and comfort here are superior. It's just a 1-minute walk from Makuhari Toyosuna Station on the Keiyo Line. This is both a pro and a con: Makuhari Toyosuna is a small station, so the rapid Keiyo Line trains don't stop there. Plus, with the Keiyo Line's 10-minute intervals between trains, you spend quite a bit of time waiting, whether you're going to or from central Tokyo or Kaihin-Makuhari. Next to the hotel, there's a huge Aeon mall and a Costco, and a New Days convenience store downstairs. Other than that, there's nothing else nearby, so if you're returning late, I'd recommend eating out beforehand. The room facilities are very new. The hairdryer and air purifier are both Dyson. The bathroom is unlike traditional Japanese business hotels; the shower area and bathtub are very spacious. The lobby also offers various bath salts for guests to take. I forgot to take photos of the room, but you can find reviews of this hotel by Japanese YouTubers, including room tours. Overall, I've had many great experiences staying at JR East hotels in Japan, and this one is no exception. Highly recommended.

What a place to stay !! For a first Onsen style capsule pod hotel, this blew all expectations out the water. Massage facilities as well as electric massage chairs, study/work nooks, a shop, and four restaurants to cater any craving needs. Remove your shoes immediately and place them in a locker (located to the right when you enter the hotel). Exceptionally clean facilities, the onsen has numerous washing areas, a cold plunge pool, Sauna (90-100°C), Jacuzzi bath, three mineral hot baths, and outdoor hot bath, plus Ion bath. The Onsen is open until 1am and is busy from 5pm-10pm daily. Massages start from around 2000¥ Sleeping pods are spacious, although the lockable lockers within the pods are around 9 inches deep. There’s a hanging rail, and beside the sleeping area you’ll find a TV, power outlet, and standard USB charging point. Access: The hotel is located on the 1st floor. Use the outdoor escalators beside the bus terminal. There’s a McDonalds plus various other eateries and shops within the shopping mall, including a supermarket that sells everything from lighting, small/large electronics, and bicycles. If you’re visiting Makuhari Messe like I did, Uber will cost you 2000-3000¥ each way - taking around 10 minutes in peak hour traffic. The local staffed train station is located beside the Bus Terminal, providing decently quick access into Tokyo. Staff were extremely friendly, smiling, and always happy to help. There is a smokers lounge room within the hotel.

Super clean room. Perfect location with express trains to tokyo. Room is of decent size (Benchmark:Tokyo). Service is pretty good as well. Will definitely consider staying again

If you plan in staying around Narita or want to be near Narita airport, this is a good hotel. Very close to Narita Ekimae station (just one stop from Narita airport). They also provide free shuttle. If you're taking the train, you don't have to worry about your luggage since the train station has escalator and elevator. No heavy lifting needed. Highly recommended!

Clean room. Free airport pick-up, which was very convenient. Easy luggage storage and check-out. The staff were nice, and the location was good. Naritasan Shinshoji Temple is nearby, a great place to walk around. There's also a fantastic century-old unagi (eel) restaurant with delicious food.

This trip was to watch a VNL game. Since the venue was Chiba Port Stadium, I used JR Chiba Station as my search point. When looking for accommodation, I noticed that rooms in Tokyo within my budget were generally small. The rooms at this hotel were quite different in size. Reviews mentioned the hotel's facilities were geared towards a ”love hotel” atmosphere, so although I was a little hesitant, I booked it anyway because I had a companion. Upon checking in, I found the room to be incredibly spacious. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, and the bathtub was large enough to lie down in. There was a dressing area next to the sink. The bedroom, besides the bed, also had a small living room. Two suitcases could be easily opened. In addition to the room amenities, the hotel lobby offered many supplies (different brands of shampoo, bath salts, and basic skincare products), simple snacks, and red and white wine (though I didn't try them, so I don't know how they tasted). The posters also showed some free facilities that could be reserved (rock bath, karaoke, etc.), but we didn't use them, so I don't know how they were. Breakfast was included, and it was quite delicious. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and it's very close to Chiba Chuo Station on the Keisei Electric Railway, making transfers to Tokyo convenient. Now that I've covered the pros, let's talk about the cons 😆 First, judging from the room's amenities, it really feels like a Japanese ”love hotel.” There are sheer curtains on the bedside pillars that can be lowered (like a princess bed?), and the bedroom and bathroom lights can be adjusted (for ambiance?). Balinese-style music plays throughout the hotel, which is in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at. The biggest drawback is that at night, the entire street outside the hotel is lined with male escorts. Although they know we're foreigners and won't bother us, having to navigate through them to get to convenience stores and shops near the station still felt quite stressful. If you're a solo female traveler planning to stay at this hotel, please definitely consider this factor.
