I recently had the pleasure of staying at [Hotel Name], and my experience was nothing short of wonderful from the moment I arrived until the day I checked out. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern elegance with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby immediately gave me a great impression – spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated – and the staff at the reception greeted me with genuine smiles and efficiency, making the check-in process smooth and quick. The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a cozy bed with crisp linens to a well-stocked minibar, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was another highlight: clean, modern, and fitted with high-quality amenities. One small detail I appreciated was how quiet the room was; I could truly relax without any disturbance from outside noise. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing extra towels within minutes. The hotel’s location was another big plus. It is conveniently situated close to [city center / tourist attractions / business district], making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time commuting. Despite being centrally located, the hotel still offered a sense of peace and privacy, which I really appreciated after a long day out. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. From fresh fruits, pastries, and cereals to hot dishes and freshly brewed coffee, everything was delicious and well-prepared. I also had the chance to try the restaurant for dinner one evening, and the quality of the food and presentation truly exceeded my expectations. The facilities were equally impressive. The fitness center was well-maintained and equipped with modern machines, and the swimming pool area was clean and relaxing – a perfect spot to unwind. I also noticed the hotel offered a business center and several meeting rooms, which would be ideal for corporate travelers. Overall, my stay at this hotel was outstanding in every way. The combination of comfortable rooms, excellent service, convenient location, and great amenities made my trip unforgettable. Eşim ve küçük kızımız ile oldukça rahat bir otel deneyimi yaşadık. Temizlik harikaydı. Herkes güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi. En ufak bir memnuniyetsizliğimiz olmadı. Hep güleryüz ve yardım ile muamele gördük. Kahvaltı dahildi ve oldukça yeterli bi kahvaltı çeşiti vardı. Her şeyi kaliteliydi. Gerek Almanya’da gerekse başka ülkelerde birçok otelleri de tecrübe ettim. Ben aile olarak gideceklere kendi tecrübemle kesinlikle bu oteli tavsiye ederim. Konumu ise merkezi her yere yürüme mesafesindeydi. Hemen önünde lidl market birkaç dükkan iletisinde aldi market ve McDonald’s gibi pek çok ihtiyaç duyulan mağazaya da 1 dk yürüme mesafesindeydi. Metro ve otobüs yürüyerek 2 dk mesafede. Bu yorumu bu kadar uzun yazmama değecek kaliteli ve konfordaydı. Teşekkürler.

The hotel is new and in a good location, very close to the train station and there is REWE downstairs. The room was very clean the first day I checked in. However, the room was not cleaned for the next two days and the trash can was full. I told the front desk that there was no body lotion in the room but there were two bottles of shower gel, but they didn't come to replace it.

The hotel was ordened. Unlike other Ibis styles, it was a little too simple. It looked like a red Ibis hotel.

The hotel provides a hairdryer and a kettle. It's clean and housekeeping is very prompt. There's a huge mall right next door that has pretty much everything. Walking from the main station with luggage is a bit of a trek, but you can take the light rail, which stops directly in front of the hotel. Being so close to the tracks, you can hear the train at night, which might be a little noisy. Breakfast is plentiful, with a great variety of breads to choose from.

If we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service. The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had. Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room. The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that. The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

The lobby is quite large and bright. Overall, it's quite comfortable and nice. The room is a bit small, but there's a small windowsill next to it, so you can put your things there without taking up too much space, which is convenient!

I had a few issues with my stay here, so I wasn't really sure how to rate the place. The first issue was with the air conditioning making buzzing noise from every 5 seconds while working to every minute while turned off. You can imagine the headache I was getting. I tried contacting the hotel via messages, emails, or calls with no success for 4 hours. To be fair, there might have been a problem with calling from my side (I was roaming), but it's strange that there is no messenger option (like WhatsApp, for example) for emergencies because it's hard to call while on international plan. Maybe they're not used to travelers from outside of the EU. Finally, my travel agent contacted the owner, and someone came to resolve the issue. Thank you to that man. But yeah, my plan to go to bed early failed. The next issue is that I found a cockroach in the room. Again, frankly speaking, it was barely alive, but I was terrified. And there were two flies in the room on top of that. However, I saw no insects after I had been moved to a different room. So, it either depends on the room category (I had a single originally), or it's a lottery. Not fun. The breakfast was good, though. Great variety of things to choose from, and the woman was quick to refill everything and clean up. The beds are comfortable, there's a safe in each room, and towels and other stuff are provided. It's located close to the park, but it's about 15-20 minute walk from the supermarket.

A great location for exhibitors – close and within walking distance. This hotel is purely for working in spartan conditions. Heating is minimal. Cleaning is only upon request, and trash is not taken out. The room has no kettle or iron, no closet, and there's a hanger rod, but no hangers – you'll have to lay your clothes out on the bed. There's no water in the room; there's a water cooler on the floor, but no cups. Hot tea is available at the bar. Breakfast is very modest: no traditional omelette or porridge. In the evening, there's only a bar; there's no food, and there are no restaurants in the area. The only salvation from hunger is a large store 50 meters away that sells everything, including prepared meals, which everyone buys and eats in the lobby.
