I came to Deyang with my parents and this was our first time staying at this hotel. The room was so big and I loved it!!! The breakfast was plentiful; my mom especially loved the braised pork intestines with toppings in the noodles—they were fresh, delicious, and very clean. Parking was convenient. There are lots of delicious restaurants within a 10-minute walk. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Deyang, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is only a few hundred yards from the Zigong High Speed Train Station. Although it is far from the downtown of Zigong City, the Zigong High Speed Train Station has buses to the city and many attractions. I walked to the Zigong High Speed Train Station for a few minutes, the Xianshi Old Town for about 20 minutes and the Zigong Lantern and Light World for about an hour. People can get a taxi at the hotel easily. The hotel provides free pickup and drop off services for the Zigong High Speed Train Station for free . The hotel workers are friendly and helpful. Ms. Peng is helpful. She helped me contacting my next hotel, and following up to confirm the pickup service of the next hotel. The hotel email was also responsive and prompt. The hotel and rooms are clean. The hotel provides a free afternoon tea with a little treat. For improvement, it will be helpful if the hotel can provide printed information of public transportation. Since I do not have a Chinese cell phone, the hotel workers helped me to lock on WiFi, which can be improved. All other hotels I stayed in China, people can get WiFi by using the room number and last name. This hotel requires a local mobile phone, for which I don’t have as an international visitor . Overall , I highly recommend this hotel.

Having been thoroughly impressed by the food and service at the Horizon Club of Shangri-La Hotel on my last visit, I didn't hesitate to choose Shangri-La Chengdu again for this trip. Firstly, a big thank you to Ms. Lu, who was previously the Horizon Club manager and has now been promoted to Front Office Manager. Her warmth and helpfulness in securing a satisfactory room for us, along with complimentary fruit and local Sichuan snacks, and arranging a late check-out, set a wonderful tone for our entire journey. Strategically located near Jiuyan Bridge and the famous Lan Kwai Fong bar street, the hotel boasts a vibrant atmosphere and unbeatable night views. However, it's a bit of a distance from the nearest metro station. The Horizon Club's 'Happy Hour' offerings are incredibly diverse and plentiful, almost like a mini-buffet, with the cakes and desserts being particularly delightful. On the other hand, breakfast was relatively simple with fewer options. My beloved handmade steamed buns weren't as tasty as before, and they felt cold, possibly having sat out for too long, which affected the texture. I'm not sure why the brown sugar glutinous rice cakes (hongtang ciba) were soft throughout, lacking their usual crispy exterior. The Eggs Benedict were inconsistent; on the second morning, the egg was overcooked with no runny yolk, just a solid egg yolk, and the accompanying bread was unappetizing. Furthermore, the egg tarts were cold and not kept under a heat lamp, and the bread station seemed to lack even basic items like muffins, which felt a bit perfunctory. Restaurant management might need some improvement; during breakfast, I noticed a whole stack of plates still had water marks, indicating they hadn't been dried properly. Nevertheless, the service staff at the Horizon Club were excellent – friendly, courteous, quick to clear dishes, attentive to guests' needs, and particularly Ms. Liu Chun, the current Horizon Club manager, who was constantly busy, very dedicated and responsible. I also checked out the coffee shop on the ground floor. While the selection of dishes was indeed more extensive, it was also very crowded and noisy. The staff member who greeted us was still very enthusiastic despite knowing we were just looking around, though some other staff members appeared cold and unresponsive. Room service was excellent – very responsive and quick to fulfill requests. When they learned we needed to air out clothes, they thoughtfully brought a drying rack, which was a very considerate touch! Room maintenance was also good, with an automatic toilet and a Dyson hairdryer. The gym isn't open 24 hours; it closes after 11 PM, and guests cannot access it with their room cards after hours, which felt a bit restrictive for those wanting to work out later. In summary, this stay brought both joy and disappointment. I hope the hotel continues to improve and enhance its services, ensuring its long-term success and continued excellence.

Very large modern room (two bed room), extremely clean, with a great view of Neijiang due to the window walls, honestly felty comparable to some starred hotels!

As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you will be surprised by the tall space, which is magnificent and classic. The room is decorated in European style, which is particularly warm and elegant, and there are welcome fruits in the room. The front desk service and security service are enthusiastic. The key is that the price is moderate and the cost performance is extremely high. It is a very satisfactory experience.

Room Type: Two-bedroom suite. I booked it specifically for the antique bed, and it certainly lived up to expectations. Service: I made a note beforehand requesting a room with an antique bed, and they accommodated it perfectly. However, there was no call before check-in. Arriving late at night, the staff helped carry luggage up and down, which was a lot of work for them. But as for exceptional warmth in service, I didn't quite experience that. Facilities: Since it's a renovated old courtyard, some of the facilities are a bit dated, though still functional. For those who prioritize modern outlets and showers, you might want to reconsider. In the outer room, I only found one outlet on each side of the bed. The shower water temperature was excellent, but the spray from the showerhead was a bit diffused. Also, the two-bedroom suite has only one bathroom, located in the inner room. There's no door between the inner room and the bathroom, so anyone from the outer room wanting to use the restroom would have to walk through the inner bedroom. Cleanliness: Perhaps because it's a two-story house, the space isn't very large. There was a faint smell of the drain in the bathroom, but it was masked by air fresheners, so it was acceptable. Environment: Located within Wenshu Monastery, both the surrounding area and the courtyard environment are very pleasant. If you have time, it's a great place to relax for a couple of days. It's also just a stone's throw from Liyuan Guild Hall, making it very convenient for catching a show.

Service: Trip.com is definitely my top choice for booking hotels. I've booked this Club Med through various channels before, including directly with them, but none compared to the experience I had with Trip.com. The butler contacted me a day in advance, and even though the hotel was fully booked for Qingming Festival, I was able to check in at 1 PM (official check-in is 3 PM). All services were promptly attended to, and I want to give a special shout-out to Irene. Room: There's absolutely no lingering smell anymore. After staying at InterContinental, Club Med rooms actually look much better to me now. If you love the water park, I recommend choosing Building 2. It's right downstairs, and odd-numbered rooms in Building 2 offer a direct view of where they set off fireworks (though they didn't have any this time 😭 my only regret). Environment: The hygiene is excellent, and the environment is fantastic – a natural oxygen bar. Just a heads-up, there are still a lot of small insects, so make sure to bring insect repellent. Family-friendly: The water park can keep kids entertained for an entire afternoon. Although the indoor kids' club is relatively small, children can still spend a few hours there. They also recently added an outdoor non-powered play area. The outdoor pool isn't open yet, but it's sure to be even more fun once it is. While I'm not trying to be critical, among the hotels in Heilongtan, other than the InterContinental's pool being slightly better in the summer, I would always choose Club Med at any other time.

I absolutely have to give this hotel a great review! The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. The service was excellent, and they even included breakfast with a wide variety of options. We extended our stay for half a day until 6 PM, and they kindly let us stay until 6:30 PM. It's these little details that made our stay so comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

This hotel is really great! The front desk staff was so welcoming during check-in, and Lily even thoughtfully provided a hotel guide. We arrived a bit late and hadn't had dinner, so Lily helped us order some late-night snacks, which were absolutely delicious! The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the room even came with a humidifier. The soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet stay. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. We had a comfortable stay, and the room was clean with no strange odors. Highly recommend!~~~
