The hotel is located between the train station and the festival hall, both of which can be easily reached on foot. My window faced the festival hall and looked out over the park full of old trees. The restaurant's garden is also located there, and is equipped with large, well-protected parasols. I didn't notice any noise at all. I was there for the 2 opera premieres. Although the hotel must have known about these dates for years, the staff were hopelessly overwhelmed: too few, too inexperienced, too poorly managed. This was noticeable everywhere: at breakfast, in the restaurant, at the bar and when cleaning the rooms. In addition, some of them speak very poor German, which doesn't do justice to the audience. As a guest, I could also see that there was tension within the staff. Some tended to ”do their job by the book,” but some were also very customer-oriented. The breakfast buffet met expectations, but didn't exceed them. I only ate in the restaurant once. The quality was OK for me, as was the price. It is not a gourmet restaurant, but there are probably a few of those in the area. The rooms are functional for short trips like in my case. For longer stays you will probably have to live out of a suitcase because there are no storage spaces for shirts, underwear, sportswear, etc. A nice gesture is that you get a free bottle of mineral water (uncooled) every day. I was specifically informed of this when paying the minibar bill; that was also a nice gesture. The room was clean. There is no evening service (making the bed, changing towels if necessary), but as far as I know the hotel only has 4 stars. My conclusion: Great location, acceptable standard, but the staff from management downwards needs improvement.

The breakfast is good and the service is good! The underground parking lot is very convenient! There are 2 gas stations opposite the hotel, which are very convenient for refueling and buying Swiss highway tickets; but the Burger King opposite the hotel is super bad. First, the chicken wings were missed, and when I went back to get them, they were fried black and inedible! The hotel hygiene is a bit sloppy, and the pre-authorization is slow to refund, but everything else is OK. It is quite convenient to transfer from Austria to Switzerland. Worth recommending!

Conveniently central location, quiet rooms, and water feature at reception (a giant pink bucket/bucket with water dripping down from the 3rd floor every few seconds). The breakfast buffet is adequate, but if you take something later, the remaining items at the table are cleared away so quickly that we couldn't even finish our tea and juice. Beautiful green inner courtyard visible from the room with a wonderful evening bird concert.

If you don't want to go to Switzerland, you can choose this, breakfast is average, the room decoration is very good, the space is not small, the front desk service is not professional.

This is not the first time I have stayed at the Residence Hotel. This hotel has always left me with a very good impression. First of all, the location of this hotel is very good, the price is affordable, and the breakfast is really superb, which lasts a long time from 6:30 to 10:30 in the morning. The service staff of this hotel is very enthusiastic and can seriously help you solve all problems. The room is clean and tidy. In particular, the mattress is very comfortable to sleep on, allowing me to get enough rest during the trip. I will choose it again next time if I have the chance.

Excellent location, stone away from the station. Walking distance to the old town, convenience shop. The only downside is the water from the shower, sometimes it got too hot that will burn you.

Check-in and check-out took too long. The room was clean, but there was no conditioner. The hair dryer seemed to be decades old and had a weak wind.

The service was excellent! All staff were very friendly, helpful and premature. Breakfast and dinner in half-pension were unmacklable. The sauna landscape is really very successful and really worth a visit! (Was included in the room price)! We will come back in any case !!!

Das Hotel hat für uns den schönen Rahmen um einen Aufführung auf der Seebühne gegeben. Viel Platz, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtete, klassische Vier Sterne eines Tradtionshauses mit einsprechen gediegenen Ambiente. Gut gelegen, so dass man in gut 10 Minuten zu Fuß in der Oper ist. Parken kann man im öffentlichen Parkhaus, direkt gegenüber des Hotels. Wer die hohen Kurse zur Opernsaison verschmerzen kann, ist um Weißen Kreuz in Bregenz gut aufgehoben. (gefrühstückt haben wir auswärts)

Very nice hotel with beautiful deco. Great location, next to train station, supermarket and restaurants are around. Wellness area is beautiful, staff is very friendly.

There is a supermarket next to it. Very convenient. Pay attention to the time. Closed in 1930, convenient parking. The front desk service is enthusiastic and the breakfast is very good. There are also Chinese restaurants nearby

Facilities can. But the room is not soundproof. The door is very thin. You can hear walking on the carpet outside the door. This is very unsafe. Can not prevent theft and fire. Breakfast is average. The nearby ski slopes are small and there is almost no snow this year.
