This was our second stay at this hotel, and everything was still perfect. We want to express our appreciation for one of the staff members at check-in, Yuki. She remembered us—perhaps because of our limited Mandarin skills (haaaa....haaa.....)—and went out of her way to ensure we understood everything we needed to know. Yuki also reminded us to reach out to her or her colleagues if we needed any assistance. Her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable!!

The location is in a lovely part of town, right on the lake. There's lots of really nice cafes nearby too. The room was clean, and the breakfast is fantastic (it's rare for hotels in Jiangxi, even high-end ones, to have nice coffee, but this hotel did). The staff were friendly as well. An all around excellent hotel.
The hotel we stayed at when we went to Wucheng Town to watch birds is relatively new. The ventilation system in the room has some problems and it is quite stuffy. The flashing light of the toilet seat is very disturbing at night and we cannot unplug the wires. The breakfast and service attitude are OK.

The Sheraton Nanchang Hotel is a highly-rated luxury property known for its modern design, comfortable accommodations, and excellent amenities. Located in Nanchang’s Honggutan District, it offers stunning views of the Gan River and convenient access to the city’s landmarks, including the Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel and Pavilion of Prince Teng.
Guests frequently highlight the spacious and well-appointed rooms, featuring plush beds and large bathrooms. The hotel’s dining options, especially the Chinese restaurant, are well-regarded for their variety and quality. The fitness center and indoor pool are appreciated for their cleanliness and maintenance.
Service is often praised as attentive and professional, although a few reviews mention occasional language barriers. Overall, it’s a top choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Nanchang.
I stayed here for 3 weeks, and everything was perfect from main door to my room. Highly well trained and very kind staff make my visit more comfortable and I felt like my home. Especially, Their beautiful smile and kindness attitudes make this hotel fantastic place to stay. And thanks reception staff for serving fruit and helping me when I am in trouble.

Very strange. After checking in, I went out for dinner. While gone, I got some messages on WeChat from the front desk that there was a problem. When I returned, they told me that they couldn't register me and they needed more information. This is the first time that I had to show and have pictures taken of all my work visas I have had since I last entered the country six years ago, especially since there is no problem with my current visa. I don't know if it is the hotel itself that wanted this or the local PSB when they were registering me. Whatever the reason, it made me feel unwelcome. Other foreigners wanting to stay here - you might not be welcome. The law says that they must accept you, and they will accept you, but you know that they still don't want you to be there.

Outstanding
KKanfengjingdeChristinaThe hotel's location is excellent, offering unobstructed views of the Gan River from the higher floors, including the Bayi Bridge, and some rooms even have a view of Tengwang Pavilion. The service was exceptional; some staff members would proactively greet us as they passed by. The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding, eager to open car doors and help with luggage, showing great enthusiasm and attentiveness. The front desk staff were friendly, answered all our questions, and were very accommodating. I'd say the front desk service here is the best I've experienced among many 5-star hotels.

Excellent
RRebeccaLupoWhen travelling, especially with a kid, cleanliness in a room is THE priority. Well, the room was NOT clean. The counter top in the bathroom was stained AND dirty, the room was dusty (you could see dust on the mirrors and other surfaces) and the floor was full of shoes footprints of different types. We asked for the room to be cleaned as we checked in, while we went for a walk, more than one our later we came back, the room was dirty as we left it.
I’m sorry but for such a price, in a 5 star hotel, this is absolutely not acceptable.
Besides, I seriously doubt that the measurements of the room are correct as it seemed waaaay smaller than what officially stated in the room info.
The view of course is breathtaking, that’s true.
Mind also that there is absolutely no separation between the wet room and the bedroom, no door, no curtains…so no privacy while taking a bath. And also that there is no fridge.
The lady at the reception was lovely, really kind, but it doesn’t make up for a dirty room.
GGuest UserStayed here for the second time. I had a pleasant stay here. The room is spacious and comfortable with a nice view. I also tried the dinner buffet, it was delicious. I will definitely come back and stay here again.
GGuest UserVery satisfied with the stay experience, the lobby is large, the environment is very good, the front desk service is good, the check-in is fast, the room facilities are complete, the breakfast is also great, the transportation is convenient, I came to watch the concert, and the stadium is only 15 minutes away by subway.

Very Good
EEllaZhangTraveling to Nanchang with my family for Chinese New Year, choosing the Sheraton Nanchang Hotel was definitely a wise decision. First off, the location is superb; the subway station is just a left turn outside the hotel, making it easy to reach all the main attractions. We even took the subway to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel staff provided exceptional service. The front desk lady, knowing we had a late flight on our departure day, proactively arranged a late check-out for us during check-in, which really solved a problem for us. When we checked out, she even gave us some small Nanchang souvenirs, which made both the adults and children very happy. Lastly, let's talk about the hotel's facilities. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the view was fantastic. We even watched Nanchang's New Year's Day fireworks display from our room, which was spectacular. The swimming pool was open from noon until night; my child went twice, and the water was clean, the temperature was just right, and it wasn't crowded. All in all, our stay was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nanchang.

PPutiwushuyushuiguanA hotel can be old, but cleanliness is fundamental!
Ten years ago, the room materials appeared to be high-end, and the thick marble in the bathroom exuded a sense of luxury from that era. However, it can't withstand years of wear and tear. If you look up at the drainage pipes on the balcony ceiling, the exposed pipes are really unsightly… And the drooping decorative materials on the exterior facade – surely they can't go untouched for ten years? You look down at the withered leaves in the greenery – surely that's not how it should be maintained daily?
I appreciate the front desk upgrading me to a main building room with a balcony; the view of the Sanqing Mountains is indeed spectacular. That said, the balcony itself is quite narrow. I wonder if most guests still watch TV more, and if a small tea table instead of a large round table on the balcony might make for a more harmonious proportion?
As for the underground parking garage, well, all those buckets of inexplicable stuff piled up there – do we really not need safety checks?
I must commend your lobby security (didn't catch the name) and the SPA manager (from Hunan, I believe). They confidently showcased the culture and confidence of Sanqing Mountain to guests. From a distance, even late at night, they were chatting freely and making recommendations, which is truly impressive!
I visit once every ten years, and might not come back for another ten, but I sincerely hope this Hilton can thrive for many years to come. Everyday management is evident in the details! Keep up the good work.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the Ganjiang River, offering excellent views and a great location. There's a subway station nearby, making transportation very convenient. I checked in in the morning, and the front desk staff (the young man) was very nice, giving me a free upgrade to an executive room. Thumbs up!
