Our stay at Manyuan exceeded expectations. Every staff member we met was thoughtful and kind, and Xiaoxiao (晓晓) stood out as a true miracle worker. She took the time to address our concerns, even late at night, due to our tricky itinerary. Her incredible service made all the difference in our experience. We initially chose Manyuan for its clean, spacious rooms with a tub, as well as benefits like itinerary planning, a complimentary foot bath, and breakfast. We were relieved and impressed to find all these—and much more. Upon our late-night arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a plate of fresh fruit prepared in our room. The hotel even provided more upon request, which helped tide us over until breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the selection featured plenty of delicious Chinese options. My wife and I especially enjoyed the tasty yogurt, and I appreciated the easy-to-use coffee machine, fragrant tea, and simple yet satisfying cakes and dumplings. Thete weee plenty of other choices, too. Xiaoxiao also made our park visits effortless by booking our tickets in advance. Thanks to her help, all we had to do was scan our passports or use facial recognition to enter the attractions. After a long day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the complimentary foot bath was a welcome treat—we simply had to boil water, add provided herbal pouches, and a basin made it easy to enjoy a relaxing soak. When we encountered an unexpected emergency, Xiaoxiao was incredibly understanding and responsive, once again demonstrating her dedication and professionalism. She even helped us with our Lantern Festival itinerary that would take place after we'd checked out. She acknowledged weather considerations and even road closures ahead of providing her recommendations. Her wide yet humble knowledge of the area deeply moved us. Even the small details at Manyuan, like the delicious front desk candies and complimentary luggage storage, added to our enjoyment. We are deeply grateful for such a warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers.

Location is excellent as it is at the foothill of tianmenshan and right across the road from the cable car station up to tianmenshan which is my mucket list. Right from check in, we have a personalized and dedicated front desk reachout whom I add to my wechat contact. Constantly following up with my stay and acceding to my request of footbath and late night snacks. Room is clean and impeccable. Breakfast spread is sumptuous and wide range. Enough to last me beyond lunch. Convenient amenities nearby too.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is excellent, being just a 15-minute walk to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which made exploring the park very convenient. The hotel itself is very clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the convenience of Meituan delivery directly to the doorstep, making meals hassle-free. Additionally, the butler provided exceptional service by helping us book tickets and offering detailed guidance on how to make the most of our adventure in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Overall, a fantastic experience with great service and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

I recently stayed at luyao Inn and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with booking local sightseeing and providing great recommendations. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail throughout our stay.

We stayed for two nights with the main purpose of visiting Tian Men Mountain Park. Very pleased with the location, services, quality of facilities . Good breakfast selection. Numbers of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. About 15 minutes’ walk to the cable car entrance. Staff are attentive and kind. We booked a mountain view room. The view is great but it is right by a main street and the traffic noises are noticeable from about 7am to 11pm. The city-view, courtyard-view rooms are probably better in terms of traffic noise. All in all, we recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The location is ideal. Its in the middle of the old town and has a stunning view. But what made it for me was the service i received from these lovely people. I think i was the only guest and i could choose my room. They are so helpful with questions and with booking my train ticket. The rooms are cozy and look authentic and matches the vibe of the town. The heater was working properly which i could say in many places i stayed. The fact that they offer a drop-off was the cherry on top. I would definitely come back to them again if i go back

I paid $191 NZD for 3 nights, pretty good deal! Clean, smart room, looks new, mostly quiet, could hear the hallway noises and some traffic noises (from the 15th floor) but not the next door room noises. Smoking was allowed outside I think, but was not an issue/the room did not stink of cigarettes even though there was an ashtray inside. Staff don’t speak English but with a bit of my Chinese I could communicate with them for the free trip from the West railway station to the hotel (15min car ride away). The bus station was about 10mins walk to catch the 1hr bus to the ZJJ National park, while the Tianmen mountain cable car was maybe 20mins walk away. Some nice restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby too. Would recommend.

I loved my stay at the Mansion Inn Dream Mansion. My room was incredibly comfortable, with a stunning view of the cableway station, the city, and the beautiful mountains lining the skyline. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the room was filled with adorable, thoughtful, and fun touches . From yummy snacks to high-quality skincare products, every detail was designed to make guests feel pampered and at home. The staff were so sweet and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay, even allowing me to store my luggage after checkout so I could explore Tianmen Mountain. If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, I can’t recommend the Mansion Inn Dream Mansion enough. The combination of comfort, ideal location, exceptional service, and great value makes this hotel a great pick.

We have a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurant and transportation . The hotel is located next to Changsha railway station.  All the receptionist are very friendly and attentive..  They even upgraded my room during my check-in.  Special thanks to receptionist No. 6 and 9 who have assisted me during my stay. Overall, we have a pleasant day in the hotel and will come back again..

Not the real 'Four Seasons' you might think of but otherwise, had an overall great experience there. Before the trip, WeChat-ed them and customer service was quick to respond to accomodate and provide transportation pick up service from the train station. However, despite messaging prior to inform about the changes in our number of pax/luggages so that they can arrange for a bigger car to pick up, there was a mix-up as the hotel forgot to cancel the first car allocated to us, leaving us stranded for around 30 mins (in the cold) at the parking lot while we wait for the correct car to arrive. It also wasted the first driver's time as he got there early and waited for us despite us not needing his services in the end.  The hotel itself was located in a nice location, and the room was great. It was high-tech where most of the room controls are controlled by 'Xiao Du' their Alexa/Google Home service which only responds in Mandarin so for those who are unable to speak then there's no use for it. The smart toilet is enjoyable as the seats are heated and the bidet function is much needed. One interesting thing is that one of the windows in all the rooms is always left partially open (unsure the true reason for it) but it may be bothersome to some as we went during winter so personally i didn't mind it as a natural air conditioning since most of the room is heated.  The driver service that the hotel provided can then also be directly hired by fellow travellers if you require the service to get to and fro the different attractions/parks that you would be visiting during your holiday in Zhangjiajie. Overall had a good experience here. Only wished for the hotel breakfast to offer more variety, it was decent enough.

I highly recommend this accommodation. First off, the location is great. It is just a few minutes away on foot from the Tianmen cable station and the Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station. There are also many restaurants and stores near the place which are all at cheap or reasonable prices. In terms of the room, what you see on the photos posted on the app is what you get. No pretensions. The room is more than enough for me — it’s very tidy, beddings are fresh, toilet is clean and spacious, and the aircon is working perfectly well (aircon seems new). But what’s best about this place are the owners. They are very accommodating, friendly, and extremely helpful. They booked everything for me at good discounts - the Zhangjiajie National Forest, the Tianmen Mountain, and the Fox Fairy Show. They also cooked delicious dinner for us, upon our request, even though they don’t really sell food for their guests. Overall, my experience was great! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I’m very lucky I got to stay here. Will definitely stay here again next time I go back to ZJJ!

I booked the Huajin room. It's spacious and like most hotels now, the toilet area is quite open without a proper door for you to lock. Thus it's suitable for couples. For friends travelling together, taking their suite is better as you have a big toilet area divided out with wooden doors and lock for privacy. There's no fridge for the Huajin room. Their suite has everything from weighing scale to fridge. Their service is wonderful though. When I feedback about smelling cigarettes in the morning (I booked the non smoking room in a non smoking floor), they apologised earnestly and offered to change a room. Breakfast choice is okie. Not a big spread but a few options for each type.

Returned to same hotel after back from Zhangjiajie 4 days trip. The frontline staffs were warmth and friendly just like my earlier week stay. Though the entrance lift at level 1 is less than impressive, but the hotel room and overall service level is good. It’s in a good location just outside Wuyi metro station. Eateries and night markets are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Recommended!

Upon arrival, we are warmly welcome by the counter staff~叶子小姐 who assisted me in checking in to the room. She was so kind to give us a free up grade of having 4 beds (1 king, 1 single and 2 single beds instead of my original 3 beds ~ 1 king, 1 double and 1 single) on top of that, she added me in the WeChat to introduce places of interest to visit and to message her if we needed further assistance. The location is good as malls everywhere near hotel. There is also a karaoke at level 4. Use 大众点评网to book the room. We had a good deal of having singing session for a small room for RMB $40.🤫

This hotel is absolutely amazing my second time stay here and is the best option in price and confortable, rooms very clean ,staff very helpful and youbcan clean your clothes and easy to access amazing

Strategic location - only 2 mins away from the 黄兴步行街. Excellent service - I arrived earlier than the check-in time and they have managed in order for me to check in earlier. Great effort. Prompt response - They will ask you to add their WeChat. Anything you need could send a message through WeChat and a reasonably fast response. Cleanliness - Clean, they will clean your room everyday even though we were staying for 3 nights. Trash was also taken care of. Amenities were also refurbished. Wonderful Hospitality - they offered a check out souvenirs and ask if we need anything on our way to the railway station. Definitely worth your money.

The hotel located into the Changsha south railway station, you face to the station in front, the hotel on your right, only 3-5 mins by walk to check-in the train, so so fasttttt. The staffs were very nice and helpful, especially, the guy with glasses night shift on 2024.11.01. The room was very cozy and good, BUT I smell the smoke all the time because it’s smoking room, I guess. The BF was very nice, there were a variety of choices; western or eastern style. i love it!

The staff were very efficient at check in which is not always the case within China, they photographed our IDs quickly to register us and gave us our room key. All of the rooms are very quirky and different which is a nice added feature (a nice suprise as to what you will get).

What an absolutely incredible place to visit. The staff were amazing, they picked me up from the train station for free and purchased the town entrance tickets at a discounted price. The view from the balcony was fantastic both at day and night time. The staff also helped me book a taxi to my train when leaving and I had left some belongings behind and they ran them to me before the taxi arrived. 5 star service 5 star location. Would highly recommend this the service could not have been better!

Very nice homestay. The host was amazing and very proactive, providing us with a detailed itinerary and a map of Furong Ancient Town. We don’t speak Chinese, but that wasn’t a problem at all because we used an online translator. The place itself is very charming. You are always welcome to drink green tea, which is made by the host from his garden (and the tea is amazing). Our type of room felt a bit cluttered, so if you have a lot of luggage, that might be an issue. The bed was good, with nice linens and comfortable pillows. Breakfast was also very nice, and everything was fresh. Just keep in mind that the hotel is outside of Furong Ancient Town, but it’s situated just a couple of minutes from the main gate.

Hotel location is excellent. Right in the midst of town centre. Room is spacious, clean and has an excellent view of the ancient city cum river. Only challenge is the low ceiling between the bedroom and the living room. Also note that living room has a pitch roof with low ceiling on both ends. Being a refurbished ancient building, the hotel is located on the 3rd floor without any lift. Great service provided though to carry our luggage up and down during check-in and check-out. Highly recommend :)

Had a great stay at this hotel! Because the hotel is new, all the amenities are in great condition and is very nicely renovated and clean! The location is also ideal if you want a quieter spot near the ancient town. The hotel provides unlimited free transport to the entrance of the ancient town as well, which makes it more convenient to get around! Yanzi (燕子管家） is also a great host and helps to arrange transportation from the train station 👍 overall great service, quite convenient location, and clean/beautiful room!

Fenghuang Ancient Town is a place I have been wanting to visit for a long time. I finally fulfilled my dream during this business trip. Mengqi B&B is located in the core scenic area of ​​Tuojiang Scenic Belt. The B&B has its own exclusive parking lot, and a special car will take you to Hongqiao, which is more convenient than parking in the paid parking lot near the ancient town. The room is newly decorated, stylish, and equipped with daily necessities, which is great! ! Sitting on the balcony hanging chair, all the fatigue of the journey is swept away, and the time is leisurely. It is perfect for people like us who sit in the office for a long time. I have made an appointment with the landlord to bring the children back to cool off during the summer vacation.

We had a lovely stay at Furong Town Waterfall Store, the staff were very helpful and accomodating. Perfect location to look at the waterfall and very close to the scenic area. Dinner at their restaurant was excellent with a variety of local foods and such clean facilities, the view from the eating area is amazing. The breakfast was also very good! Would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone wishing to stay in Furong!!!

I received a call to confirm the itinerary the night before and sent a travel guide in advance. The proprietress was super nice and helped us choose the room type. She also upgraded the room. The room has a small balcony and the night view is very beautiful. The inn is very close to the scenic spot, which is very convenient! I had steaming hot rice noodles for breakfast, and she also called a car to send us to the high-speed rail station! It was a very satisfying experience. I will stay here again next time I come to play!

Nice view from the balcony but is not exactly at the main waterfalls area. Room is nice and clean and bed is comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly to help us to purchase entrance ticket and share what's around the area. Hotel provided 1 way free pick up from train station but will need to pay for the return but I think is fine. They will help to arrange for carpooling. The road is uneven so will take some time to drag the luggages from entrance to hotel. There is no lift in the town, so we need to carry our luggage 2 flight of steps downward (no choice). Hotel staff also willing to help carry. Overall a great stay even is 1 night only. Will recommend to stay in this hotel.
