"ELMS hotel at Christchurch provide with welcome drink voucher during our check in. Unluckily we don’t receive any room upgrade from the reception during 3 days of staying. location wise is conveniently and there’re various restaurants and cafes nearby the hotel! Interior facilities seem a bit of old style, and dusts on the desk and cups are observed! Not far from the hotel to the city centre where you can take boat or tram exploring around the Christchurch!"

"The hotel is near to the airport which make it very convenient for travellers catching the early morning flight. Will stay there again if going back to Christchurch for holidays!!"

"My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!"

"This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters). There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall. I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience."

"スタッフは明るく親切でした。 水圧の問題もあると思ってますが、トイレが詰まってしまい、伝えるとすぐに来てくれて、夜で業者が手配できないため部屋の移動を提案してくれました。 各階に誰でも使えるトイレがあったため部屋の移動をしなくても特に問題ありませんでした。 ロケーションもよく、気持ちよく過ごせました。"

"Nice hostel in convenient area of the city! The hostel is clean and every floor has its own kitchen and living room. Not very social but good and clean Toilets are the best ones I saw in many hostels, just perfect!"

"It's just a few minutes drive to the airport so good for staging your late or early flights. Easy check in and helpful staff. Room was just enough in terms of size and bare amenities. There is a common kitchen which we did not use. The room shower drainage was slow to clear and paint work starting to peel. Otherwise it was ok."

"Very nice location, good for relaxing, 1 km from town center, but so close to the lake by just crossing the street. I would love to stay longer next time. If you reach late at night, it’s better to contact hotel in advance and ask for map and photos of your room location before. I arrived very late at night from Christchurch (changed transit flight from Auckland). It took me awhile to understand the map, room location and where to park. It was just 1 day after new moon. So, it was very dark. It’s hard for me to figure out the scale of the place and I didn’t see the small cabin at the back from the street."

"A great hotel situated on the edge of the city meaning it’s quiet but still accessible. The king size room was lovely and spacious and the bed was comfortable and big. Toiletries were great quality and the service was suitably attentive. Only thing that was challenging was the unavailability of premium breakfast times due to the Christmas season, meaning 2 out of 4 mornings we skipped breakfast due to having to sit super early or towards lunch. Would definitely recommend and would very happily stay here again."

"Amazing hotel. Incredible service that is above and beyond. All the staff are so lovely and really care about making your stay the best it can be. Everything absolutely spotless. Super comfy beds, nice showers etc. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay again!"
