Our trip to Huis Ten Bosch was compounded a hundred fold by staying at Hotel Okura Jr. The place is awesome and has a boat ride exclusive for hotel guests. The room is spacious and the breakfast is amazing! Would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki!

The hotel is standing on the hill looking down Sasebo harbor. You can see the islands in Saikai National Park depends on the room direction. They have a big bath and the private bath both. Driving up the hill may be a little challenging because the road is narrow and winding. Hotel stuffs are very polite and helpful. Breath taking view with a hotel pool where people use for the wedding reception. Just another beauty of Japan.

Stayed in this hotel for the view. Located below the observatory. So it's kind of secluded and quiet. They provide shuttle bus to the city centre though. Very nice and helpful staff. It's a good break away from the city. And enjoy the night view of Nagasaki. The building itself is old. But very well-maintained. And has a good welcoming vibe
