We had a wonderful stay at Shuiyunlan Hotel in Wuhan. The hotel offers a perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and elegance. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. Everything was spotless, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The staff were especially impressive, polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled quickly and efficiently. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, shopping, and transportation. OI would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wuhan.

Overall this very good hotel with nice facilities. However I experience two incidents which downgraded service rank. On the first day in the restaurant person was smoking close to our table - should be separate area for smokers and nonsmokers, no reaction from personel. On the 2nd day when taking short clip of the cook preparing the meal, I was approached by the personel and asked not to record the staff, in other hotels staff is definitely more welcome to guests recording or taking photos. Not here.

Hotel was beautiful, very clean and service was amazing (reception didn’t understand English but was very helpful and patient with helping me). The hotel is also within walking distance to a lot of food and shops so It was nice to stroll about the area. The streets are peaceful and it’s nice to walk around the lake which is situated next to the hotel. Just be mindful that the hotel is located within a bank building, and to request a non-smoking room if that’s what you’re after! Other than that, my stay was pleasant and I’ll definitely be back in the future.

We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. O atendimento foi ótimo em todos os aspectos e as instalações são muito completas, com academia e lavanderia. O custo-benefício é excelente. A saída fica em frente a um ponto de ônibus, o que torna o transporte muito conveniente, e o café da manhã oferece uma boa variedade de opções. No entanto, um problema é que, após adicionar o WeChat do atendimento ao cliente do hotel, comecei a receber mensagens frequentes e inconvenientes. Pessoalmente, depois da minha estadia, não gostaria de continuar recebendo mensagens irrelevantes. Espero que o hotel melhore esse aspecto e pare de incomodar os hóspedes.

The environment is fantastic, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful. Sitting by the window, enjoying the view and eating is truly delightful. It's also very close to the attractions we visited. The room even has a large bathtub, and a washing machine, microwave, and umbrella are all provided. The host's service is exceptional; they respond to messages very quickly. We initially had trouble with the washing machine, and after messaging them, the cleaning lady came over right away. The host also thoughtfully sent us a Wuhan travel guide, which was incredibly considerate!!!

The room is very nice, modern and well furnished. The breakfast is not as good as one could have expected. You can find similar hotels in China with way better breakfasts. The buffet had a decent size, but the food's quality was not high. I am also very disappointed by the hotel's gym which was only open until 6 pm due to the lack of staff (as reported by the hotel's reception) which is way too early when you perform a business trip and that you go back at the hotel after 8 pm.

This hotel is located so conveniently for tourist. Right next to Chuhehanjie, where shopping is endless and street food is everywhere. Also very near to Wuhan Metro station, Minutes away from major tourist attraction. Hotel is right up to 5 star level when it comes to cleanliness and facilities but the same can't be said about their service. Chinese people are pretty reserved when faced with foreigners, sometimes cold downright. You won't get the enthusiasm of wanting to please you. It gets better if you speak chinese but if you don't then make sure you have a data plan that allows for Google Translate. Talking about data plan, be prepared to get a provider that has high data caps, or even unlimited. Wifi in this hotel is not foreign device friendly. But all in all, a good stay with my family, we enjoyed Wuhan very much.

Comecei a minha viagem com a reserva do hotel errado - o mesmo nome, MAS EM UMA Cidade diferente.O hotel aceitou um reembolso completo, embora fosse muito além do período de reembolso. Eu estava grato por isso. Quando cheguei, o hotel estava centralmente localizado à beira da rua de caminhada cheia de compras e comida boa.O pessoal do hotel estava educado, quente e bem treinado. Gostaria de mencionar especialmente o Sr. Peter (Poi-Yan) dos serviços de concierge, que, embora fosse apenas um treinador no hotel, foi acima e para além das suas funções para me ajudar a resolver as minhas questões com as minhas entregas locais.
