"Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive.
There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period."

"The large sea view from the room was nice, but the in-room facilities felt a bit outdated. There was nowhere to hang towels, and the tissue box only had a few crumpled tissues left, clearly remnants from a previous guest. The most frustrating part was trying to find the kids' club. I asked the front desk several times, and they just kept saying 'turn left outside, it's in the building next door,' without mentioning it was in a different hotel. We walked back and forth multiple times under the scorching sun and couldn't find it. When we asked another staff member, they said this hotel doesn't even have a kids' club! I saw reviews online of other guests using the infinity pool, but the front desk also failed to mention it was at the Belmont Hotel, so we just assumed it wasn't open. The front desk was also vague about the breakfast restaurant's location, just saying 'in the building next door.' Every time we went to that 'next door building,' we had to walk a long way under the blazing sun. Whether it's a kids' club or a water park, why can't they clearly state it's in a different hotel? Even if it's 'next door,' it should still be part of *their* hotel. Who would guess it's a completely different property without clear information? Our butler added us on WeChat after we had been running around all day and went out in the evening, but we didn't see it until the next day at check-out when they reminded us to add them. What's the point then? How can I possibly leave a good review with an experience like that? Objectively, the facilities at the partner hotels are quite good, making the overall value for money reasonable. But shouldn't the subjective service keep up? It's just a matter of saying a few more words, yet they made everything so complicated every time."

"very comfortable hotel with large rooms and bathroom. location is convenient but the road in from is pretty congested during peak hours. the mall behind the hotel looks deserted. walk to mixc mall took less than 10 mins but you'll need to cross two big roads. TV needs improvement as the control is not responsive. Separately booked hotel breakfast at the counter and it costs 98 RMB for two adults which is very affordable for the decent spread of standard hotel breakfasts. they also had special pillows on request. room also had a nespresso machine though capsules provided were not nespresso branded."

"Adoramos nossa estadia neste hotel! O ponto alto, sem dúvida, é a localização perfeita. Fica pertinho da praia e, todas as manhãs, estávamos a poucos passos da areia e do mar. GGuest UserGuest Manager Xu provided absolutely excellent service! This is by far the best room I've stayed in Sanya. Late at night, when I wanted some congee, they even drove to deliver complimentary congee and pickles! The breakfast was also very rich and varied! The chicken feet were especially delicious; I ate four of them! The room attendants were wonderful; the young women who cleaned our room were so energetic and always smiling, which made my family and me feel very comfortable! The staff member who drove us and helped with luggage was also fantastic, actively helping my parents and me move our suitcases from the room to the car! Their attitude was truly excellent! I would love to stay at this hotel again next time.

GGuest UserDue to noise issues in our previous lake-view family room, we reported it to Gina, who then moved us to a family room in the main building. Overall, this room had lower ceilings and older facilities than the previous one, but it was more spacious. The best part was how quiet it was; after 10 PM, there was virtually no noise outside, which was great for light sleepers. I really appreciate Gina from Guest Services for her attention to detail; she even prepared a small cake for the child, who was thrilled.
The hotel pool's bubble activity is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. My child had so much fun they completely forgot themselves, but then developed a fever that evening. When I asked the hotel for an ear thermometer, they replied that they only had mercury thermometers.
How could an A+ parent-child hotel not have an ear thermometer? While an ear thermometer might not be as accurate as a mercury one, it's difficult to use a mercury thermometer with very young children who might not cooperate. Of course, we usually bring our own ear thermometer when we travel, but there are always unexpected situations, like forgetting it this time.
Service: Most of the restaurant staff, cleaning ladies in public areas, and bellhops at the entrance actively greeted us, and they were all very good.
Getting Around: There's a night market within walking distance of the hotel. The beach is just a left turn out of the hotel and across the road. The hotel can arrange a car to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which was a filming location for 'If You Are the One 2' – just ask the Golden Key concierge in the lobby.
For other places, you generally need to take a taxi. For example, if you want to go to West Island, it's at least a 45-minute taxi ride. If you're staying for three days or less, I honestly recommend just staying at the hotel. Don't venture out too much, or you'll lose the meaning of a vacation and get too tired.
Issues encountered in the room:
1. The most memorable thing was that my child's white socks turned black very quickly after walking on the floor. It seemed the room floor wasn't mopped daily, as I also saw hair near the dining table that hadn't been cleaned up. However, the housekeeping staff were quite considerate; they noticed we needed more water and directly provided 8 bottles. Linens and room consumables were fully replenished after previous guests checked out. But when our extended stay room was cleaned the next day, they took away the child's bathrobe and didn't replace it, nor did they replenish consumables. I had to call later that night to request them. Overall, it was easy to tell that different people were cleaning on different days.
2. There were also some hardware issues, such as the curtain and screen window switches being reversed. The lighting modes were quite unintuitive; for example, there was no night light mode or a mode to only turn on the lights above the bedside table. The shower drain worked better than in the previous room, flowing smoothly without overflowing. However, the hot water in the shower took too long to come out – definitely over ten seconds – so long that I thought hot water wasn't coming out at all.
3. For dining, we only experienced breakfast and the buffet dinner. My child particularly enjoyed the fruit at the buffet dinner and the mermaid show. The food quality overall wasn't particularly outstanding; it was just enough to fill you up, with no dishes leaving a special impression. The photo is of breakfast.
Long after checking out, I realized I had left some items, but I didn't receive any call or feedback from the hotel. Although if they had called, I probably would have said to discard them, I wonder if the current hotel process for lost and found items is to wait for guests to call and inquire, otherwise, they assume it's not wanted and dispose of it?
We experienced the afternoon tea and travel photography included in the package. We didn't go to the DIY activity.

GGuest UserOur stay at Wanda Realm during this Sanya trip far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was fantastic, plus the room was spotless. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Our butler, Linna, provided exceptional service as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

Sscarlett0527Stayed for two nights. First, I want to commend Kaylee, our butler. Her service was excellent, very proactive, and responsive.
The concierge service was great. They were there to open the door and help with luggage as soon as we parked. We were offered welcome leis, but they weren't available when we got out of the car. The lobby didn't have air conditioning and was a bit warm, but it was well-ventilated. Check-in was quite fast, and they provided detailed information. The elevator had AC and was very cool, and our luggage was delivered to the room quickly.
The hallway to the room was too long and outdoors, making it quite hot. However, it looked beautiful once the sun set.
The family room had one king-size bed and one single bed. The mattresses were good, no backaches. The AC worked well and kept the room cool. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature. Bottled water was replenished promptly and generously. Room 833 offered a partial sea view and a partial view of the duty-free shop and a new hotel that's still under construction. It wasn't noisy, and the duty-free shop lights looked lovely at night. The only **bug** was the bathtub on the balcony, which made it impossible to take a bath. The room had no musty smell and didn't feel old. There was a huge table, convenient for dining.
We received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the passionfruit was absolutely delicious. A complimentary minibar was provided, with drinks and snacks.
The family pool was a bit basic, without a water playground, but it had free floats and basketballs. There were plenty of lifeguards who helped inflate the floats.
There was a shuttle bus to the beach, and the driver was very friendly and chatty. The beach had lounge chairs, and the sand crab catching activity was excellent and engaging. There wasn't much hawking on the beach, which contributed to a great vacation vibe. Free sand-digging tools were available at the beach.
The kids' club was next to the B1 breakfast restaurant, with activities suitable for younger children. Tree climbing was a lot of fun and came with small prizes. The bubble activities were a hit with all the kids.
You could reach the duty-free shop by crossing the road through a small gate, which closed at 10 PM.
We weren't bitten by mosquitoes at all during our stay, which indicates good pest control – a definite plus.
Breakfast was a bit simple; the variety could be improved. We didn't have to wait for a table even when arriving after 10 AM, and the food was replenished promptly. The Xinglong coffee was good. Eating outdoors was slightly warm but offered views of fish and snorkeling.
The hotel's Chinese restaurant was delicious, delicious, delicious! The hotpot at the Western restaurant was decent, and the ambiance was good. There were plenty of takeout options nearby, but you had to pick them up from the takeout cabinet yourself. The 'Qingbuliang' (Hainanese dessert soup) from room service was good.
It's a shame we didn't go snorkeling. We'll have to come back next time.

1. The hotel's public areas are amazing – it's an elegant and culturally rich hotel. From the moment you step out of the car, you feel like your vacation has begun.
2. Although the rooms aren't the newest, the low-rise ocean view is incredibly comfortable.
3. This season, the hotel's fruit trees are laden with fruit, including dragon fruit, coconuts, longans, star fruit, and wax apples (I missed the lychees and mangoes). It's a real treasure and perfect for kids to explore.
4. The beach is truly a vacation paradise. The sand in Yalong Bay is still very fine, and the hotel's beachfront location is excellent. The sea breeze keeps it from being too hot. The only downside was a stretch of white coral when entering the sea, which was quite rough on the feet, but the water was so blue, and surfing was a lot of fun. The loungers by the shore are also very comfortable; you can enjoy coconut water or a drink while listening to the sea.

GGuest UserIt was so hot in Sanya that I just wanted to stay in the hotel room. The air conditioning was excellent, even a bit too cold on a higher setting. Choosing this hotel was a great decision; the price was reasonable, and the room was very satisfying. The bedding was clean and tidy. The pool was quite busy, mostly with foreign guests. I especially want to thank the lobby manager, Robert, for helping me find my lost glasses – he was diligent and truly dedicated to guest service. The housekeeping staff were also very thoughtful, promptly replenishing towels and bottled water in my room whenever needed. Check-out was quick and efficient, with no waiting for room inspection. I was very pleased with this stay!

GGuest UserMy stay at the Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay was very satisfying. The overall facilities, environment, and service all met international five-star standards. Although the hotel is older, it doesn't detract from its quality as a resort hotel. The front desk staff were helpful and patient during check-in.
I want to give a special shout-out to our butler, Tudou. Every morning and evening during our stay, he would proactively greet us. He also showed great care for our experience, asking if we needed any room supplies replenished and about our preferred cleaning times. I've stayed at many international five-star hotels, and I truly commend Butler Tudou; his service awareness is truly international five-star standard.
The hotel offers many free children's activities, including pet feeding, a children's zip-line challenge, a park train, and children's DIY crafts.

DDongfangyuxiFirst, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities.
The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient.
Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

We booked a club room on the 43rd floor, and the view was absolutely stunning. 😍 The hotel has Russian-speaking staff; we had Ariel, who was an excellent helper and advisor throughout our entire stay. We are so grateful to her! ❤️ Ariel provided us with a schedule of all the activities at the hotel, including their locations, and advised us on what to prioritize and what to save for another day. 👍
The stay included tickets to the waterpark and aquarium (the beluga whale and mermaid show) for the entire duration of our visit, plus two tickets to the evening C-show, which we unfortunately missed. There's also a buffet lunch and dinner, which was more than enough. In the morning after breakfast, the kids checked out the play area and were amazed – it's Octonauts-themed and really cool. The grounds are beautiful, with great pools and a lovely beach. Our vacation was amazing, we're very thankful and will definitely be back.
