The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the town hall, making it easy to walk to anywhere in the city center. Although it's a 3-star hotel in an old building, the facilities are very new, the bed is soft, and there's a mini-fridge. The only downside is that the internet can be a bit slow when there are a lot of people, but that doesn't affect my overall rating!

We stayed for our anniversary. I listed that it was the case at the time of booking. On check-in, Alicia at reception congratulated us, notified us that we would be upgraded and sent a bottle of sparkling wine to the room for us. The room (level 21, rm 25) was stunning with views of the city, clean, well-appointed and big, classic design, and luxurious. The price is a splurge but lively. The complex itself is great with quite a lot to do beautiful food and wonderful staff. It is about a 5-10 minute walking distance away from the multi-level carparking if you choose not to use the valet.

The room was OK, a bit outdated and obviously well used. It was clean, and that is really all that matters to us.. We didn't eat in the restaurant but went to the bar, and drinks were reasonably priced. There are not too many comfy seats, or we would have hung around a bit longer, but ok, especially the fire in the middle of the room. Staff were friendly.

Everything was great , room was clean and staff was helpful. Only thing I wasn’t happy with., no water pressure.

Boa vista de buche para o pequeno-almoço e um Monte de lugares. Eu tinha um quarto de canto, então minha visão não era a melhor. A piscina é bonita e o spa é quente, Mesmo no Meio de Agosto. Eu voltaria, MAS a próxima vez, porque o hotel não estava cheio de meia-semana. Eu recomendaria muito que você fique!

Wonderful hotel! Upon check in, Mark at the reception immediately remembered where we came from and also that we have done online check in and thanked us for doing so. We feel respected and welcomed. He also provided suggestions to us on places to see, which were great suggestions. The service of the hotel, especially Mark was marvelous! The room is spacious with nice shower. Water pressure could be better. Bed was very comfortable that I wish to take it come with me. Sound proof not at issue. Everything is just perfect! Of course, the location is also a plus with just a few minutes walk from the tram station and 10-15 mins walk to CBD.

It was very clean and well organised. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the gym was pretty good for a hotel. I recommend this hotel for a night stay, the price was very reasonable as well!!!

Great hotel with excellent service and value for money. I accidentally left 700 AUD in the room safe after check-out and only realized it at the airport. The staff handled it quickly and professionally, and I got my money back without any hassle. The hotel feels very safe and quiet, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff are friendly. The location is perfect — opposite Southern Cross Station, easy for trains and the airport, with a Coles supermarket across the street. The area is very walkable. We stayed at York on Lilydale because we were there for a gig. We were very surprised by how nice the room was. Beautiful view, comfortable bed and the spa was luxurious. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. If I didn’t have to work I’d have stayed another night.
