Very friendly staff, very well-appointed units, extremely comfy bed AND a free cookie at the check-in desk!

Good location, opposite the racing hall of fame, two blocks to the Hornets home. The front desk is welcoming and humorous, and many of the guests are very lively. The hotel offers free drinks in the evening. Breakfast is very rich and very good experience.

Amy at front desk was super helpful. Tru is our go to for our travels on the east coast.

All staff were very nice. Just didn't seem to be enough of them when trying to do an evening check-in. Had to wait a while for staff to come to the front desk - helping others in a different part of hotel. Clean, renovated, decent free breakfast, nice outdoor pool, quiet.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was comfortable. Breakfast options did not meet the expectations set by the rest of the hotel experience.

I had a great stay at JB Duke. I highly recommend the David Suite. It’s a large apartment with plenty of space. I’m happy there was a gym and guest laundry. Good place if visiting Duke or just Durham in general :)

Wow throughly enjoyed this location and environment

The room was very clean, towels were better than fair quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in pump bottles for convenience. We had a king sweet, the room was very spacious, enough for us to dance, have Christmas w our grandchildren and play w them on the floor. The pool is very clean, the breakfast buffet is amazing and best of all the staff are All friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional. We mostly had the pleasure of working with Annie who is just the best! Seriously, she's amazing. If you are looking for comfort, accommodations and cleanliness this is the hotel to stay in. They made us feel at right at home!
