I've been to Sanya many times, but this is my first stay at Rosewood. My excellent impression of Rosewood Hong Kong prompted this booking. The hotel's hardware is decent, though the drop-off area felt a bit mismatched for a luxury hotel. The service was good; the butler and manager were sincere and prompt in addressing feedback. What I appreciated even more was the follow-up care after check-out. Breakfast is à la carte, and I feel the consistency could be improved. I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant in the evening, and the quality was quite good.

The environment here is absolutely top-notch. There are so many picturesque spots by the sea, and even the hotel's landscaping is beautifully done and very pleasing to the eye. For breakfast, my favorites were the lobster wontons and the durian soufflé; both my friend and I thought they were quite delicious. However, the variety wasn't extensive. For instance, the bacon was a bit tough, the croissants weren't crispy, and the fried rice options were pretty much the same every day. The pastries and breads also didn't change much, with more emphasis on bread and very few cakes. The watermelon this season wasn't great; some pieces weren't very red and tasted a bit off. The room decor has a mahogany style, which felt a little dated. On the third day, the toilet area suddenly started buzzing, but then it stopped on its own, so we didn't call staff. The lights in the room flickered when first turned on but then stabilized after a while. A minor drawback was the occasional smell of smoke coming from the bathroom, and I'm not sure where it originated. The toiletries provided were abundant, and the moisturizer had a lovely, subtle grapefruit scent. There was a small incident: on the first day, after doing my makeup, I put my concealer in the bathrobe pocket, and it was taken by the turn-down service staff. I realized it was missing on the afternoon of the third day and called the front desk. The male staff member who answered said he would ask his colleagues and get back to me. By the afternoon of the fourth day, I still hadn't received a call back, so I called the front desk again. A female staff member said she would look into it. After calling again, I was told they couldn't find the lost makeup. Since it wasn't very expensive, I didn't pursue it further. I also blame myself for not putting it away properly… This is a reminder to everyone not to leave valuables in bathrobe pockets, and also a suggestion to the hotel to check pockets before collecting bathrobes and other items. What was really disappointing this time was that the family pool and water slides were closed for maintenance! There was no notification about the closure before we arrived. My friend and I were really looking forward to those slides, so it was a huge letdown and felt like a significant part of the experience was missing!

The hotel's public areas and architecture are stunning, perfectly embodying a luxurious yet tranquil retreat. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a classic, understated elegance that feels substantial rather than ostentatious. The style and facilities don't feel outdated at all; instead, they exude a timeless, sophisticated charm. It’s ideal for couples or a romantic getaway, though kids might find it a bit dull. Breakfast doesn't boast a huge variety, but what they offer is exquisitely prepared. The lobster wontons, pandan cake, and egg tarts were all delicious. Our butler was very attentive, bringing a small gift for our child and proactively asking if we needed a late check-out. Room service was prompt, and by the pool and beach, they thoughtfully provided drinks, mosquito repellent, and sunscreen. Kids can borrow sand-digging tools, so there’s no need to bring your own. The evening ritual is highly recommended – it has that wonderfully old-school sense of ceremony. The spa, with Thai therapists, was also very relaxing. The only drawback isn't the hotel itself, but the pollution at Qingshuiwan Beach and in the ocean. The waves brought in grey foam and trash, which was quite disheartening. This might be related to the overdevelopment of real estate in the area, with numerous residential complexes nearby and a large, mixed population. It's truly a shame!

I stayed two nights in Shimei Bay, one at Le Méridien and one at The Westin. The Westin's lawn is very picturesque, and the beach is relatively long and narrow with a bit of a slope, but the loungers are quite comfortable. The indoor heated pool is excellent, very warm, and a standard 50-meter pool. Our butler, Miss Mile, provided thoughtful and timely service. She helped us book our departure transfer and even sent fruit and cake, offering an unexpectedly great service experience. She definitely deserves special commendation!

The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded me to a room with a higher floor and a better view. The room is uniquely designed, brightly lit and cozy (many hotel rooms are not very brightly lit), which is very satisfactory. We had dinner at the hotel, the restaurant service was very enthusiastic, and they specifically noted that our dishes should be lighter, and the dishes served were really good, thank you 🙏. The hotel is next to the scenic spot. Although it was drizzling, it was still nice to borrow an umbrella from the front desk to walk around. In February, I could smell the faint fragrance of osmanthus and saw many flowers I had never seen before. It is a very good hotel!

Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much. I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

Traveling with friends, we chose the Baoting Qixianling Hot Spring Resort Hotel. First, we were immediately impressed by its tranquil environment, lush greenery, and fresh air. The hot spring water felt wonderfully smooth on our skin. Second, the hotel staff's service attitude was exceptional; they were always ready to help, making us feel completely at home. The hotel restaurant's dinner was surprisingly good value for money, exceeding our expectations. We would definitely come back here for another vacation if we have the chance.

Captivated the whole family with heartwarming service and a fantastic kids' paradise! This time, I stayed at Changjiang New Century Resort with my child, and from check-in to check-out, we were consistently impressed by the warm and enthusiastic service from our butler, Xiao Xiao. As soon as we got out of the car, she came jogging over with a smile to help with our luggage and proactively introduced all the children's activities – her attention to detail was exceptional! The family-friendly facilities were an even bigger surprise: Water Park: The 40,000 sqm kids' water fortress features slides, a pirate ship, and other attractions, plus a huge heated swimming pool. My daughter loved it so much she didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay by another night. Childcare Services: The kids' club had a full day of activities planned. The Li ethnic bamboo pole dance lessons and handicraft classes kept my child so engaged that she didn't want to leave, truly freeing up the parents. Other highlights: Thoughtful Dining: For breakfast, freshly made seafood congee and Hainan rice noodles were available, and the chefs adjusted seasonings to suit children's preferences. In summary: This place offers an experience and family-friendly amenities far beyond expectations, all at half the price of Sanya. Xiao Xiao and her team's smiles were as warm as the sunset over Qizi Bay. When we left, my child cried and said, 'I want to come again next year!' – that's the best review one could ask for!

Pros: 1. **Convenient Takeaway**: There's a dedicated takeaway locker. You can easily order from Wallace, McDonald's, Luckin Coffee, and nearby supermarkets. 2. **Shuttle Service**: They offer a mini-bus service to and from the high-speed rail station (limited seating, requires advance booking). 3. **Festive Atmosphere**: The hotel really goes all out for holidays! The Christmas decorations and festive fireworks were beautiful – a huge bonus. 4. **Excellent Front Desk Service**: The front desk staff were very proactive in resolving issues, and calls were always answered. Hotel staff were also enthusiastic about helping with luggage. 5. **Great Location**: Very close to Stone Park and Tonggulun, and taxis are easily accessible. 6. **Friendly Cats**: There are adorable (wild) cats around, very friendly and not aggressive towards people. Cons: 1. **Musty Smell in Room**: The room had a strong musty smell (barely tolerable). 2. **Cleanliness Issues**: The hygiene was just okay. There was mold on the walls and air vents, and the bottom of the bathtub was yellowed with uncleaned hair nearby. 3. **Poor Wi-Fi for Apple Users**: The Wi-Fi was not very friendly for iPhone users; it kept disconnecting or failing to connect, so I mostly relied on mobile data. 4. **Terrible Food**: Although the hotel food portions were large, it was incredibly bad. The Baoluo noodles had absolutely no flavor (not just bland). 5. **Noisy Cats at Night**: The kittens were a bit noisy at night (perhaps hungry or something else). I suggest arranging deworming and neutering for the cats, providing a cat house (please don't kill or drive them away) as part of the hotel's 'cute pets' initiative, maybe even creating a cat cafe. For the price of over 400, this hotel is already quite good and offers great value for money.

The hotel is grand and beautiful; the rooms are spacious and well-equipped; breakfast is plentiful; and there's a covered parking lot, making parking very convenient. What's more, the service is excellent 👍! The front desk staff patiently and thoroughly explained the room's orientation and sunlight exposure. We weren't entirely satisfied with the first room assigned, and they immediately arranged for staff to show us rooms with different orientations. The staff were all smiles and spoke softly throughout, which definitely deserves a 👍! This level of service alone makes it worth staying. Highly recommended!
