"I have to say we will give the reception guy 6 stars up to five. We have to catch up the train in the early morning around 1am, so that we need to stay in the lounge for around 4hours.The reception guy, with my great respect and grateful, stay up the whole night with us, no rest and give water and turn on for us. In the end, support us for communicating with the driver and carry the luggages for us, with no tips(sorry we dont have change cash at that moments)

"Останавливались в начале января, отель понравился. Номер с теплым полом в ванной комнате, работает отопление - ночью спали с открытым окном, нам было даже жарко. Посторонних запахов в номере нет. Завтраки отличные, каждый найдет что ему нравится, есть терраса, предположу что в теплое время года там тоже можно позавтракать. "We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand."

"Stayed at Mustafa Hotel in Samarkanda. The hotel opened only this year everything is absolutely new, fresh and works perfectly. I liked everything very much.
What I would like to note separately:
1. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern. The interior is designed to the small stylish, with taste, feels like they have put a soul. It's nice to be in the hall, in the rooms, in the common zones. Not just the ”table” cleanliness, but really beautiful design.
2. Excellent pool. Big plus for Samarkanda after a long day of heat walks it is very nice to swim. The pool is clean, tidy, with a comfortable rest area around.
3. Everything new. Since the hotel opened this year, there are no weared furniture, no rubbish coatings, no pipes with paddles. Everything works like clocks. It's a huge plus that overlaps many other moments.
4. The hotel is modern but cozy. Not a huge, faceless ”concrete box,” but a neat, thoughtful option for comfortable rest.
In general, if you want to stay in a really new, beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool and stylish interior Mustafa Hotel, a great choice. I stayed very pleased."

"Cozy, new, and clean hotel. The room was pleasant to stay in. Everything was very comfortable and bright. You can walk to Registan. I would happily stay here again. The staff helped carry luggage to the correct floor."

"The hotel itself is nice. It’s in a quiet location with decent facilities. However,our room is just fair size.The breakfast was healthy with good variety, and the staff (especially the young lady serving) spoke excellent English. We enjoyed our 3-night stay until checkout.
When we asked for the required proof of accommodation to leave the country, the staff told us there was a customs registration issue on our entry (which I later confirmed was false). Despite them pretending to try and fix it, we left empty-handed. Because of this delay, we missed our pre-booked coach to Bukhara and lost UZS 585,000 in total (UZS 195,000 per ticket for three people).
Every other hotel we stayed at in Tashkent and Bukhara provided the E-Mehmon registration without delay. I really don't understand why this hotel makes a routine procedure such a huge technical problem. It was their mistake which caused our financial and time loss."

"Great 3 nights stay at Movenpick hotel with all amenities. Very convenient and close to the Gour Emir monument (4/5mn by walk) and the Registan square (15/16mn). A lot of cafe and restaurants around the hotel as we didn’t book the hotel breakfast. As we are lazy to dine out, we enjoyed twice diners at the restaurant Caramelle (really juicy manti and tasteful somsa & soups) We tried the sauna (hammam was under reparation) and the fitness. We had pleasant drinks at the pool bar. So we can recommend the Movenpick hotel at Samarkand. And the room rates are very affordable for a 4,5/5* hotel."

GGuest UserThis stay was absolutely fantastic! I made a mistake with my booking, but the hotel staff were incredibly patient and helped me sort everything out. They were all super friendly, helped with our luggage, and provided exceptional service. The entire hotel was spotless and very comfortable. We woke up a bit late and worried we'd miss breakfast, but it turned out the hotel offered à la carte Western breakfast and freshly ground coffee, which tasted great, and the service was really thoughtful. The location is also super convenient, very close to the train station, making getting around a breeze. I chose this place specifically because I didn't want to stay near the necropolis area; it's about 5km from the attractions, and getting a taxi was very easy. Throughout my stay, I really felt the warmth and hospitality of the people of Uzbekistan. My accommodation experience was perfect, I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located about one kilometer from Registan, Shah-i-Zinda, the mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, all within walking distance. It's a guesthouse in a small courtyard, clean and tidy, though some facilities are lacking (no toothbrushes, slippers, or an electric kettle). Hot water needs to be heated in the communal kitchen. The owner is very kind, provides a tourist map, and speaks English. When I visited, there was road construction, making it very difficult to get around, but it should be finished in a few days, so future guests will be lucky.

MMonika_bThis is a good hotel. We stayed at the Hilton before this, and this hotel is no different in terms of quality. It's clean, and the housekeeping is daily, with excellent staff. The downside (we stayed in March 2026) is that there's absolutely nothing nearby. The fountains weren't working, and neither were the water park, amusement park, or shopping center! In the summer, during peak season, it would probably be wonderful here! But not at any other time of year!

LLhuaNice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price.
The spa has good facilities but is not operated properly - I had reserved in advance but when I was let in the sauna and hammam was only just turned on so nowhere near proper temperature even by the time my hour ended. Also there was no towel in there (was told there would be). The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level.
There were some drain flies in my bathroom so cleanliness also needs to be addressed.

SSomewhere On EarthThe location is unbeatable, you will find yourself in the pedestrianised area connecting all the main historical attractions. However, the entrance is obstructed by the outside seating area of the restaurant next door(which has good food). You have to awkwardly make your way through the bbq smoke and diners in the evenings. The rooms are compact but sufficient and the air conditioning is good. However, the blinds barely do anything so it’s too bright in the early morning. Also, there was only cold water and colder water in the shower. There was a steady stream of dying ants making their way into my room each day, which was not ideal.

GGuluxixiI highly recommend this hotel! I was torn between two Hilton properties, but I'm so glad I chose this one. It's incredibly convenient – a taxi ride anywhere only costs 10-20 som. Since I couldn't use ride-sharing apps due to my registration, the front desk helped me call taxis every day. A special thanks to Ismigul and Amin, who spoke perfect English and were incredibly helpful, calling countless taxis for me daily 🚗. For anyone visiting Samarkand, don't hesitate to pick this hotel.
The breakfast was also excellent, with make-your-own waffles that my son devoured every morning.
They even gave me a discount on my massage.
Overall, this hotel made our trip complete.

GGuest UserAfter a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days, and it was truly a top-notch experience. I've seen many hotels during my travels, but the service, cleanliness, and comfort of this establishment particularly impressed me.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, close to the city's main attractions, streets, and shopping centers. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and safe, making it ideal for relaxing after a long journey.
The rooms are very clean, spacious, and bright. Every corner is meticulously cleaned, the bedding is soft and high-quality, and the air temperature is always stable and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are new and clean, water pressure is good, and hot water is always available without any issues. The room has all the necessary amenities: fast and stable internet, air conditioning, a TV, and other essential equipment.
The hotel staff's service deserves the highest praise. The reception staff are very polite, patient, and attentive. The check-in and check-out processes were very quick and convenient, with no unnecessary waiting. I could get immediate answers to all my questions and requests, and the staff were always ready to help.

GGuest UserTucked away on a small street, a little distance from the main square, this hotel offers a lovely atmosphere, perfect for photos, and you can enjoy afternoon tea there too. We missed the hotel's breakfast because we went out early to see the Madrasa at the square. But when we returned at noon, to our surprise, the hotel still provided us with breakfast! Their service was incredibly friendly. Although the room facilities were a bit basic, the service truly exceeded expectations. Thumbs up!
