We had to extend our stay to three nights as our cruise dates were changed. The manager was so kind and offered us an upgrade. I’m truly grateful for that because the view from our room was amazing. It’s pretty hot during the day, so we stayed indoor during the day and went out later on in the afternoon. The only downside of the hotel is its distance from downtown Aswan. There are no stores or shops close by, so do plan your meals ahead of time or you can have lunch or dinner at the rooftop of the hotel. The entrance of the hotel is kind of hidden. You need to walk down a set of steep stairs to get into the building, then to a different floor to check in. The room had everything we needed for the stay. It’s quite spacious and had a fridge, TV and and big closet. There is a bathtub in the bathroom but the shower area doesn’t have a door. The AC works great and kept us nice and cool. We had breakfast everyday, and the content is pretty similar to all other Egyptian hotels but it’ll keep you full if you finish everything. If you don’t like the hustle bustle near the center of Aswan and don’t mind the walk or taking cab, this would be a good option for a quiet, peaceful stay with a great view of the Nile.

Recommend you to ask for the new renovation room and don’t forget to put non-smoking room. The Egypt culture is smoking habit and make the room smell bad. But I got change the room after I get in. Everything turn out 10/10. Location is great McDonald is in front of our hotel.

Very good hotel with excellent value for money facilities. Big and clean rooms, nice staff and excellent manager Mr. Islam will do everything to make your trip comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! First of all it is like a staying with your family far from home, in a very tourist welcoming area in general but also the hotel. All Nubian people are welcoming and honest; especially if you are coming from somewhere other than Egypt you will feel refreshed getting rid of bargaining. Hotel arranged an Abu Simbel transportation (which was 3 hours away)with lunch box for us early in the morning at 04:00 am we came back around 1 pm and take a tour to Philae Temple then came back to hotel (which was our cozy home) and Ahmed took us to village as a local, guided as and provided fair prices, we experienced their culture seeing the magnificently painted surroundings also jumping in local houses with tortoise and crocodiles, and they have provided us transportation to Aswan Train Station. I even felt sad because of leaving a place with full of brothers. Thanks to Ahmed (both), Ms Mai, Mohammed and Islam. It was an amazing experience, you shall not say i’ve visited Egypt before seeing Nubian Village.

We had an absolutely AMAZING TIME! From our airport pick up (which I recommend). Even though it was 2am we were still greeted with fantastic Hibiscus tea from Edres he was fantastic. We were shown around even at that time. In the morning we asked for a call to see the sunrise and that was fantastic as well. In the morning we had a great typical breakfast and then a fantastic tour as well. Rowan and Aya also were wonderful. I would recommend this place to see the true Aswan and tour the Nubian Village. Also, the lunch was fantastic as well. Next time we want to spend more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

I had an excellent stay at Malindy Ka Nubian House in Aswan. The hospitality of Mr Mohamed was truly outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly, helpful, and always prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Mr. Mohamed guided us very well during our stay and helped with everything we needed in Aswan, including local travel tips and arrangements. The Abu Simbel tour arrangements were very good and budget-friendly, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The location itself is peaceful and quiet, giving a beautiful experience of Nubian culture and lifestyle. The artistic paintings and decorations both inside and outside the property were beautiful and added a unique cultural touch to the stay. The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. Even a late-night dinner was quickly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. If guests have any specific food preferences, it is better to inform them earlier so they can check the availability and prepare accordingly. For travelers arriving at Aswan Airport, using the Indrive app can also be very helpful for transportation. Overall, everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience staying here. Guest house is located away from the main area of Elephantine Island but is within easy reach of nearby attractions. An excellent breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and taken on the roof terrace.
