Beautiful hanok and a simple 3-mins walk from main road where the taxi will drop you off to the actual hotel. Host was very helpful, allowed us to check in earlier at 1pm and helped us to check timing and called a restaurant to book for our dinner. Also, free breakfast was provided although timing is fixed at 8.30am. Overall, a very pleasant stay and definitely recommended for anyone who wants an authentic experience!

Really convenient to be near lots of restaurants, there is a really good bakery cafe in the same building & coupons for the bar across the road. Breakfast included in the stay is basic with eggs, toast and fried rice. There is juice but no coffee. Rooms are huge as is the bath. Only minor thing was the light switches are meant to be remote controlled but that didn’t work so you have to manually go to the switches on the wall near the door. Would stay again.

The view from my room was breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s facilities. The pool area was well-maintained and perfect for relaxation, while the fitness center had everything needed for a good workout. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with a great variety of options, and the breakfast buffet was simply outstanding – fresh, diverse, and of high quality. The location of the hotel was also a huge plus. It was conveniently situated near major attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being in a central location, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect balance between accessibility and relaxation. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure guests had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made my stay truly memorable. Its a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration. The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient… However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend! There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry! Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!

The accommodation was great. It was clean and looked new. The lobby was decorated very cutely; I loved it. Inside the room, the bed was a mattress type, but it was comfortable. However, the floor heater seemed a bit too hot. The bathroom had separate wet and dry zones, which was very good.

Location was good. Close to central bus station, the tombs, 7 eleven next door. Stored luggage there before and after our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.. No elevator but has a dumb waiter for luggage. 10,000 for laundry. Breakfast was just toast butter and jam. One morning there wasn't any toast and I couldn’t find staff to refill. For me the location was the most important thing. So I was happy.

Stayed with friends on a 3D2N trip. Location was generally good, close by to main shopping area, easy to get on buses and/or to call for uber. We really loved the breakfast that was included as well as free noodles being provided (cooked in a bowl). Water, coffee and teas was provided throughout the day (pantry and a separate cafe that was right beside the main entrance). There was even washer/dryer, laundry pods to purchase from them also available however we can’t comment much because we didn’t use them. Service was a hit/miss. Was greeted enthusiastically by an older gentleman, explained everything well and was very willing to share nearby eats and things to do. However, while I tried to use delivery app (that they advertised in the room, even for international travellers), the young man was not very proactive to solve our problem (unable to input Singapore number). However overall their service I will say is still very polite. Room is generally clean. However as my legs are more sensitive to bedding’s fabrics, I could feel “things” on my legs that was in contact with the beddings. That being said, we didn’t experience any skin reaction or bites. To add on, they had self service luggage locker outside of their entrance where we stored our luggage after checking out. However, to note that there is limited number of locker so would advise to store earlier in case it’s fully used. Would definitely come back here next time!

Traveling with kids, this place is much cleaner after the renovation compared to when it was Sonobel. The swimming facilities were good, but there wasn't much for kids to do, so it was a bit hard to spend the whole day there (no slides or play structures). It seems good for toddlers, couples, or families who just want to play for a short time. The artificial rock was incredibly slippery; I saw two people fall hard. The tiled floor was also very slippery even with aqua shoes on. Barefoot was actually less slippery. They really need to pay attention to safety. The water was shallow but wide and varied, so it was fine for a day of fun. The accommodations are more luxurious than before. Breakfast was just okay. The staff were friendly.

We had a great time staying here! We had a traditional Korean room with just the futons and no bed. The floor was nicely heated and with the window open for the cool breeze, it really made it comfortable. We were so close to everything and could get anywhere we needed to easily. The staff were very friendly! I’ll definitely stay here again if given the chance!

Super clean and spacious new villa in Hanok style. It's a bit out of town, but main attractions easily accessible with a car. Check-in was a bit difficult as we had no Korean number and communication was only possible in Korean. In the end a friendly worker helped us by calling the owner. Thanks again for his help.
