Ficámos no quarto 11 no andar de cima de junho de 2024, com um pequeno quarto, com um baixo tecto debaixo do quarto, e a cama de casal era pequena com um pequeno cobertor que apenas cobria a cama. Talvez eles tenham saído de folhas limpas, EM vez de UMA folha de vidro montada no fundo do machado, eles usavam UMA folha de vala que não estava sobre eles.A machada era espuma dura, não espuma, que EU encontrei difícil dormir. As luzes do Lado têm bolhas de luz estranhas, um é Muito escuro e um é Muito brilhante.Havia UMA janela Grande Na Sala com boas vistas, MAS rapidamente se afundou, porque há falta de ventilação Na Sala. A janela abriu-se completamente para o quarto, não havia maneira de o bloquear em certa posição para o impedir de chover ou parar a chuva entrar.A casa de banho tinha um banho com um saco de chuveiro apertado às tapetes que funcionavam surpreendentemente bem, embora tenha um pouco de fuga. I cannot say enough good about this place. Very central to Lerwick and a lovely room and Host. Host is kind and generous. Allowing use of fridge and microwave was such a plus. The breakfast provided was self serve but lots of tasty options which were topped up daily. Really loved this place.

The apartment is a short stroll through the historic Lodberries area and 5 minutes away from the main shopping area of Commercial Street and the Lerwick Harbour area from where various sightseeing boat trips depart. The town bus service picks up at the Esplanade and serves all points in the town including Lerwick’s two supermarkets, Shetland Museum and Archives, Mareel cinema and arts centre and the Viking Bus depot from which bus services depart to all Shetland’s outlying areas. Commercial Street is also home to the town’s many pubs, cafes and restaurants with a wide variety of dining choices to suit all tastes. The apartment is also a perfect base from which to make the most of all the activities that Shetland’s world renowned festivals of Up Helly Aa, Shetland Folk Festival, Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival and Shetland Wool Week have to offer.The apartment is served by ground level access via a private patio area which leads into a bright and sunny living area with views towards the sea. Parking is available in the adjacent public parking area. The apartment sleeps four in two comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin, thus making it ideal for families. A fully fitted and equipped kitchen, recently refurbished shower room and outside drying area provides all the amenities the discerning visitor will require for a memorable stay in Shetland. The landlord is very nice, we checked in before 8 o'clock in the morning from the ferry. I also patiently introduced us to the delicious and fun surroundings. Then, because the room was not full that day, we originally booked room 2 and the landlord let us live in room 5 on the top of the building. The view was very good. The breakfast is also great, it's always just a very pleasant experience~

GGuest UserWe stayed in room 11 upstairs in June 2024. The room was very small, with a low ceiling under the dormer. The double bed was small with a tiny duvet that barely covered the bed. They had maybe run out of clean sheets as instead of a bottom fitted sheet on the mattress they had used a valance sheet which didn't stay on. The mattress was hard foam, not sprung, which I found hard to sleep on. The bedside lights had odd lightbulbs, one was too adark and one ws too bright. There was one large window in the room with good views but it quickly steamed up as there was a lack of ventilation in the room. The window opened fully into the room with no way to lock it at a certain position to stop it blowing open or stop the rain coming in. The bathroom had a bath with a shower hose attached to the taps which worked surprising well, although it leaked a bit. There was no fan in the bathroom so again no ventilation. The bathroom was also dark. Breakfast was very good. Dinner at the asian restaurant on site was excellent. The staff were very friendly.

GGuest UserAlthough the staff were friendly this was a rather 'tired' 'commercial' hotel that didn't live up to its website. After we had booked in and were settling in our room, a member of staff burst in without knocking, saying ”sorry, we thought the room was empty because it was quiet!” Bizarre. The room did have a sea view, but was built partly under the staircase so a little noisy when people tramped up to the next floor. It was also small, and the 'double' bed very narrow, perhaps four foot wide? En-suite also narrow with toilet that was difficult to flush properly. Evening meal was a bit grim, we thought the steak pie would be a safe bet, but was just meat piled on puff pastry, with under-done vegetables. Somebody's idea of a 'trendy' meal? Unbalanced and far too dry, could only eat half of it. Chef's day off? Continental breakfast was fine. (Which was just as well as the cooked breakfast was rather expensive!) Local street parking was plentiful and free - a benefit that takes some getting used to!

ZZibaiheSHotel location is very good to find the airport bus, go forward and cross the road.
I live on the top floor and have a little attic. Don't be too comfortable. The view is good. I can also see the vehicles coming and going on the main road. Although it is still less than 10° outside at the end of May, the landlord gave me an electric heater, which was very warm.
The bathroom also has a skylight that can be opened for ventilation.
The room facilities are average, there are no toiletries, tea and coffee can be picked up in the restaurant downstairs.
Breakfast is not really suitable for our Chinese stomach, pure self-service, I ate two slices of bread, a banana and a pack of cereal.
It takes five minutes to walk from the hotel to the town center, but the only Tesco supermarket here is more laborious, 20 minutes, the wind is raining.
