Booked 3-person room but wasn’t happy with the condition. Requested to check out immediately since no bed was allowed to be added, and were told that all the 4-person room was sold out. Taipei was our last stop so we wanted a good ending and we needed a room for three nights stay. Spoke to the FO manager who reluctantly but finally offered an one bedroom suite. The room was spacious and bright. We were happy and appreciative initially but their beds and couches were believed to be full of dust mite. We were suffering from severe insect bites, esp our 4 years old son (whom photos can be provided later). Quite a disappointment despite the hotel was newly refurbished and centrally located. The hot spring is only open for 16 years old and above so the hotel isn’t family oriented.

I chose a room with separate bath. The bath is not a Western-style bath that you can lie in. It’s square shaped and about four feet wide and long. You can sit in it, but you can’t recline in it if this is something you’re looking for. The hotel offers an outstanding breakfast at the Tavernist. Breakfast here is easily more delicious than at more expensive hotels. Even the coffee was great. Breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet but the servings are perhaps even excessively generous. The hotel location is also very good. I wasn’t that familiar with Taipei when I booked but the location turned out to be convenient. It’s a few minutes walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, which can take travelers to a few tourist spots, and about a twenty minute walk to Huashan Creative Park. There are Japanese-style department stores with restaurants in the basements and upper floors in addition to local cafes and restaurants.

What sets this hotel apart: If you are looking to stay in a quiet neighborhood (instead of a hotel along a busy/noisy street) with a good value/price, great service, and convenient location in Taipei, this hotel is a strong contender. This combination is what sets it apart from other hotels. Hotels nearby are either priced higher or along the main streets. Positives: - The team's service and attitude are consistently professional and courteous throughout my entire stay. Everyone was professional. No one came across rude, impatient, or defensive. They thanked me for choosing them and also took responsibility/ownership on things they did not do right the first time. - They took notes on things you said and requested with immediate response or within 24 hours if needed more time. - They practiced active listening, asked clarification questions to ensure what I needed/requested. - Excellent breakfast, full of variety. They kept standard items standard by providing them daily but also added some variety by changing 3-5 dishes. All foods are fresh and prepared on site. - Housekeeping service had great attitude and was efficient in cleaning throughout the entire stay. - They have an elevator. Most hotels in Taiwan have elevators. - They are happy to help moving your luggage upon request. - Excellent hot shower temperature and pressure - Amenities provided in the room is abundant with good quality - They are trustworthy in honoring pre-agreed upon check-in requirements. Before booking this hotel, I asked about the check-in requirements and what I felt comfortable providing and what not. They agreed and executed accordingly. I appreciate how their words and actions are consistent, which is very different from some hotels (Best Western always acted inconsistently, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels are spotty, some are good, and some are bad) in the US and Canada where they said/agreed one things and acted differently when I arrived at the front desk for check-in. Hotel services in Taiwan are generally much better in terms of service attitude and honoring their words. - Effective expectation management and communication - When raising issues, they took it with positive attitude: they always first owned it by providing a sincere apology, tried to solve it immediately. If they couldn't solve it right away, they asked for more time and provided a timeframe on when it would be solved. Throughout my stay, 50% of issues were solved immediately, and 50% were solved within 12 to 24 hours. No issues remained unresolved. - Common areas are always very clean and organized. Negatives: - Not always have people at the front desk to help open the heavy doors. Better to change it to auto-sliding doors. - The elevator carpet is gross and dirty: time to change it. There was a hair hidden underneath the hand towel on first day - raised the issue and they fixed it the next morning. Hotel is very conveniently located beside the Taipei Main station. Exit M3 and turn left and hotel is just a few steps ahead. This is my 2nd time stay at the hotel. Room is not spacious but very clean with windows. Bath tub has sliding door instead of the usual shower screen which is nice. Complimentary welcome coffee/drink coupons which is redeemable at cafe beside the front desk. From hotel exit, turn left and there’s a small lane which has an eatery that sells dumpling which is very juicy and tasty. Enjoyed the stay and will stay again in future.

I used a triple room, but was assigned to the top floor on the 30th floor and the view was amazing. The accommodation was clean and the sink was outside so it was easy to wash and shower. It's located above the subway. The subway was delayed a lot, so I didn't use it often. Still, it's a 10-minute walk from Carrefour and a 10-minute taxi ride from Ximending, so I walk well and I recommend it if you want to stay at a good accommodation.

The food during breakfast was very nice for me, and the staff were busy preparing and refilling the food that got finished very quickly. Most of the staff were ok, but would not interact or or help much; probably due to the amount of workload. The rooms were decent to good. Price was average to high, but also due to holiday period. One biggest unpleasantness was during check-out, with a crowded lobby and staff seemingly very eager for me to leave immediately after return of room card. No chance of leaving any baggage till later part of the day, and I got spot-checked and shooed immediately by the guard when I put down my bag to take my belongings, the moment I stepped out of the hotel entrance. The check-out experience and overcrowding during full occupancy, was unpleasant for a probably ok hotel.

I decided to book this hotel at the last minute, because I screened the list of hotels, and the other hotels were full in the days we were staying (December 24-26). If the weather is cool, walking is very enjoyable, but it is a crime to walk in the rain/cold winter/hot summer. When my family arrived, the lobby was super crowded,(maybe due to new year) and a great place to take pictures. The room was quite big, but the toilet was quite dirty. The bathtub had brown stains, and the corners of the toilet were caked in mold. The hotel was connected to Taipei Main Station through Exit M6. There was a lift directly connected to room. We took a Tra train one stop to Rouhe night market, it was very convenient. Overall, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei was a nice place to stay in.

- Paid extra for a better room, Totally Worth It! Big and clean, but no view - Great location, easy access to the Taipei main station. I can get to anywhere easily. My Tainan friend caught a High Speed Rail to visit me, it was easy for her to get here - I would recommend to go straight up to the ground and drag your suitcase on the street with you if you are taking the Airport Express to Taipei station (Do not walk all the way to the MRT train closet exit because there are stairs) - I like the restroom, bathtub and shower. The Japanese washlet is fantastic because you cannot just throw toilet paper in the toilet in Taiwan - Bed is a bit too firm for me, personally prefer softer mattress - Breakfast has limited choices, I wish there are more - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was waiting for a shop to restock something, since I didn’t have a local number, I left the hotel number to the shop, and big thanks to Peggy for her help!!!

Location- located next to the mrt station so very convenient. There is a Yong He Dou Jiang nearby for those who would like to try. Food- I did not order the breakfast. There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel. We ordered pizza and pizza is nice. There is some nice cafes nearby but did not get to try. Amenities- shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided. There is a public bath at level 17 but I did not try. There is a Lounge af level 2 for u to get bottles of water and complimentary coffee. Service - staff are polite. Room is clean. Others - it cost about $1300 to cab from hotel to Taoyuan airport. Journey takes about 40mins if traffic is smooth.
