Hotel Midtown Richardson

It was a great experience! The location is good, near Ximen Station Exit 4,5,6 (Exit 5 is nearest). The Breakfast is okay, finishing time is 09.30 i think it is too soon.

Room is clean and location convenient too. But the twin room is too small. After place the luggage, not place to walk through.

Great location. Fantastic breakfast spread. Room design varies. Some has great layout. Others a bit squeezy. Nowhere to put things

Good breakfast with variety food, good service, nice hotel and very close to Ximen Station.

Check in process was horrible, waited till 3pm sharp then they allow to check in, very unpleasant experience for my 1st trip to Taiwan, counter staff service was not up to standard, pillow was very flat, the corridor of the hotel was dirty with stains, room was moldy and dirty, definitely will not advise or recommend families and friends to come to this hotel to stay.

Location is a plus plus for travelers, just a 2min walk to Exit 4 of Ximending Metro. There is 7-11 and Hi Store at ground level of the hotel, Nice room but however the air con is fixed at 24deg c , try to lower the air con but can’t. Good buffet style breakfast, it can be very crowded during breakfast. Very easy check in and check out at the self use counter.

My comment is comprehensive and worth referring to, whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, or with family, etc... Pros: 1. Excellent location, with easy access from either Exit 4 (elevator available) or Exit 5 (staircase) of Ximending Station. 2. Includes a self-service breakfast until 9:30 am (limited options but satisfying). 3. Self-check-in and check-out process until 11:00 am, which is quick and convenient. 4. Polite housekeeping staff. 5. In addition to the basic amenities, they provide cotton swabs, cotton pads, and conditioner. 6. There is a parking area at the entrance, making it convenient for calling taxis or using Uber. Cons: 1. The rooms are small, and it's difficult to fully open up large suitcases. 2. Poor soundproofing, as noises from people passing by in the hallway or slamming doors can be disturbing. 3. Insufficient lighting, with no reading lamp available at the bedside. 4. The bathroom has a frosted door and allows light to pass through. If elderly individuals need to use the toilet and turn on the light, it may affect sleep quality. Overall, it is considered satisfactory. I stayed here before the pandemic (prior to renovation) and when I returned after the pandemic (post-renovation), it was not as good. The sense of space has diminished, and all the rooms have been reduced in size. It seems that they are trying to sell more rooms in order to earn more profit... 評倫會係最全面、最值得參考，無論你係獨自旅遊、情侶或者家人旅遊等等⋯ 好處： 1. 地理位置好，西門町站4號出（有電梯）或5號出口（行樓梯）都得。 2. 包含自助早餐，供應到上午09:30（選擇不多但一定飽肚）。 3. 自助Check-in和Check-out，手續快速。 4. housekeeping有禮貌。 5. 除了基本設施外，還提供棉花棒、化妝棉和護髮素等。 6. 門口有停車區，叫Taxi或Uber很方便。 壞處： 1. 房間較小，無法將大型行李打開平放。 2. 隔音效果不佳，走廊上有人經過或其他房客關門聲會影響睡眠。 3. 燈光不足，床頭沒有閱讀燈。 4. 廁所是趟門且透光，如果有老人需要使用廁所時，開燈會影響睡眠品質。 總括而言，這個住宿還算合格。在疫情前（未裝修前）住過後，疫情後回來（新裝修）反而不如預期，空間感變小，房間都變小了。這可能是為了賣更多的房間以賺取更多利潤⋯⋯

The location is very convenient, close to Gate 4 of Ximen station. Close to the convenience stores, 7-11 and Family Mart, the price is reasonable. The check-in and out are the self service system. Recommended!!!

Very convenient located at Ximen station and 3 mins walk to metro station. Breakfast crowd at the restaurant was terrible during our stay. Too many people at one time and plates, cups are not replaced on time. Even foods smashed out once the staff placed them on.Foods area should be split in a few areas to avoid the crowd.. Rooms are old and required for touch up and Reno especially the toilet door. Water will be splashed out and the entire toilet will be wet. The gym is very simple but there are few treadmills and the equipment is not functioning. Overall the price is high but with a great location.
