Dandy Hotel (Daan Park)

Breakfast was good! area was fantastic, very central and able to walk to most places i wanna visit. Will come back again when i visit taipei again!

Always amazed with their anticipate service at reception, manager train its staff very well. The only thing is their departure time set it quite straight, extend 30 mins at 1 price and 1 hour so on etc. Staff present the extension issue also quite blunt. Can modify the staff expression or presention

The hotel is located between and across the street from the exits of Daan Park MRT Station (if you have heavy luggage, don't take Exit 1 because that one is all stairs). Daan Park Station is on the Red Line, which has a lot of tourist attractions and also a convenient line to transfer on, so I found the location to be great. Having a 7-11 right downstairs was also very convenient. In terms of food, it is a 5-minute walk toward Dongmen Station (or you can go eat somewhere). As for the hotel, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful .The room is nice, but the selling point is the bathroom, which is huge and has both a big shower and a tub! The toilet seat is heated and has a bidet, and this was my first time using one. It was great. The room was clean and I did not have trouble with the noise (you can hear guests in the hallway and motorcycles outside, but overall the hotel does a really good job keeping the noise to a minimum, which is important to me). Also, there is free instant noodles provided for guests after 8PM- this was also assuring because many food places close around 8-9PM, so it was good to know that the hotel had a backup option for you in case you missed dinner for whatever reason. Also, free self-service laundry, which I did not have time to take advantage of but I appreciate that there was such an option. Overall a great hotel and I recommend it!

The location is superb with park view. Aldo, the metro and 711 is just beside the htoel. Besides, it’s convenient to go sightseeing. The service and buffet are 10/10 from my experience. Staff persons speak English influently.

The hotel is very conveniently located in Central Taipei, opposite the popular Da'an Park. Entrance to MRT Station Da'an Park (Red Line) is directly in front of the hotel entrance, so it can be reached very conveniently by public transport. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast buffet with lot of choice. I am going to stay here again next time in Taipei.

Dandy hotel has smaller rooms that are ok for a night or two. The service staff are very happy to help you.

Very cosy and clean. nice staff, phone charging available. theres a snacks bar in lobby as well. no hand soap in bathroom though.

It's not the fanciest hotel but it is good value for money. It's conveniently located right next to Daan Forest Park metro station, which is on the read line two stops down from Freedom Square, and three stops from Taipei 101, so you'll have no problem getting around. There's also a 7-Eleven located downstairs where you can get breakfast and coffee if you miss the hotel breakfast, or just stock up on any supplies you need. My only complaints is there's only one elevator, so sometimes you'll be waiting for a while. Other than that I'd have no problem staying here again.

Great location next to the park and subway station, friendly staff and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast too. I found the pillows to be too hard and uncomfortable, but the staff helped source a softer one.
