7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

Review for NYX Esperia Palace Athens – Luxurious Stay with a Few Caveats We stayed at NYX Esperia Palace Athens for four full days – two couples, each in an Executive Suite with access to the business lounge. The welcome was warm and efficient, and we received our rooms exactly at 3:00 PM, as per hotel policy. The suites were clean, stylish, and well-equipped with amenities such as disposable toothbrushes, shaving kits, loofahs, a hairdryer, and more. One of our suites, located on the 7th floor, even had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was a lovely bonus. The room’s climate, lighting, and curtains were all operated through digital controls, designed to pamper guests — although, in practice, they were not very intuitive and required a bit of trial and error. For instance, turning off the bedside light required getting up and walking to a control panel. The TV included Israeli channels (11, 12, and 13), which we appreciated. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the waiter service was above average. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional care provided by Ilia, the hotel's Public Relations Manager. She guided us almost from the moment we arrived until we left — recommending excellent tavernas, booking taxis, restaurants, and arranging a private guided tour. On our last day, we were also warmly greeted by Dionysia in the lounge — charming and attentive. That said, there were some drawbacks: Reception service was inconsistent – not all staff members were welcoming; some appeared cold or offered forced smiles. The business lounge was disappointing – small, crowded, with modest food and drink offerings and uninspiring seating. It felt more like a repurposed room than a proper lounge. The pools require advance reservation, with no room for spontaneity. Usage hours are segmented (e.g., 1–4 PM or 4–7 PM), and spots after 7 PM are very limited. The rooftop pool area is crowded, and the adjacent restaurant is also open to non-guests. Rooftop restaurant experience: One evening we returned from a night out and hoped to enjoy a drink with a view. Although two front-row tables overlooking the Acropolis were available, we were initially told they were reserved. Minutes later, we were informed we could sit there for a €25 minimum spend per person. The sudden shift from ”reserved” to ”available for a price” was off-putting — especially as hotel guests staying in suites. The guided tour recommended by the hotel involved nearly 4 hours of driving during a 5-hour trip, leaving us with very little time at each stop. We suggest skipping it. Bottom line: The hotel is modern, very clean, and the suites are luxurious. Service is mostly excellent, particularly thanks to Ilia and Dionysia. However, don't count on spontaneous access to the pool or rooftop restaurant — enjoying those requires planning ahead, much like booking a theater show. If you value well-designed suites and structured experiences, this hotel may be a great fit. If you’re looking for flexibility and full-day pampering from hotel facilities — you might find it a bit limiting.

This hotel is great. Simple, clean, with the best of sea views…. Beach life with all the history and culture of the city less than ten minutes away by taxi.

Eu reservava um quarto único, era maior do que esperado, e o banheiro tinha um banho.Eu estava no nono andar.O quarto tinha UMA vista de cidade que não esperava. Há ar condicionado, um cozinheiro, um frigorífico e um Monte de espaço para bagagens. Não havia café disponível, apenas T. Por isso comprei o MEU próprio. Há UMA variedade de lavagem de chuveiro e creme corporal.A sabão era sabão de azeite e muito bonito.A água no frigorífico não era complimentar e tive de Pagar por isso quando saí. Não estava reservando pequeno-almoço.Era bastante barulhento, às vezes no piso 9, com crianças e jovens a falar e a ser alto.A cama era extremamente confortável e dormi muito bem nela.As meias não estavam perto da cama. A piscina no topo era brilhante, MAS era Muito ocupada.As vistas eram espectaculares e o alimento no bar era muito bom.O pessoal no bar era muito gentil.O hotel está Muito bem localizado perto de estações de comboio, MAS andar é Muito Mais interessante! Há algumas Grandes lojas e mercados Na área e OS museus não estão longe.Leva Cerca de vinte minutos a pé para o Centro se você gostar de andar.Recomendo lojas de joelhos Na caminhada para a Acropolis.

Fomos recebidos pelo Sr. George, que foi muito simpático e prestativo e fez nosso check-in imediatamente. O hotel oferece café da manhã das 6h30 às 9h30, com uma variedade de saladas, pães, croissants, queijo, presunto, ovos, café, chá e sucos. O quarto é bastante espaçoso, com uma varanda com vista para a rua principal. Pode ser barulhento durante o dia por causa dos carros e do bonde, mas isso não nos incomodou, pois estávamos fora. O quarto possui ferro a vapor, chaleira, frigobar e sachês de café e chá. O terraço tem uma piscina e é possível ver a Acrópole ao longe. Ficamos duas noites e reservamos mais duas noites para nossa volta a Atenas, porque todos os funcionários são muito gentis e hospitaleiros. Altamente recomendado. As fotos nesta plataforma de reservas precisam ser atualizadas, pois o hotel está diferente. Não parecia tão bom nas fotos, mas ao entrar, a impressão é ótima. Fica a cerca de 7 minutos a pé da estação Larissi ou da estação Metaxourghio.

O gerente de relações com hóspedes, John, o melhor, disse a ele que era o aniversário da minha mãe. Ele organizou tudo de forma incrível e nos presenteou com duas garrafas de vinho e macarons. Até escrevi uma carta à mão, muito fofa, obrigada. O café da manhã do hotel era ótimo, a piscina é pequena, diferente das fotos. O quarto é incrível, elegante e sofisticado. Tudo ótimo. O hotel era elegante. Gosto do estilo minimalista do hotel. Parece muito novo. A área de recepções era iluminada e brilhante. Elegante. O hotel tem um restaurante na cobertura e uma piscina (não sei se dá para nadar no verão). Não é tão grande. Do telhado você pode ver o Partenon. Foi agradável! Os funcionários são simpáticos e prestativos. A comida é boa e as bebidas eram boas, embora o preço do hotel, como todos sabemos, seja caro. O quarto era espaçoso o suficiente, mas eles não tinham telefone para ligar para as recepções se você precisar de alguma coisa. No entanto, gosto que eles tenham um Nespresso. A localização, porém, não é tão próxima de Plaka e da Acrópole. Está a quase mais de um quilômetro de distância, mas é uma linha reta. Se você é um caminhante, isso seria um bom aquecimento. Eles poderiam chamar um táxi para você a qualquer momento e tinham todas as informações que precisávamos. Desvantagem: o elevador era lento e o ruído do corredor e da estrada podia ser facilmente ouvido. Gostaria que eles fizessem algo para tornar os quartos à prova de som.

Adorei minha estadia neste hotel! Me diverti muito, fezes incríveis, restaurante incrível na cobertura, a vista mais icônica de Atenas, com um cenário deslumbrante!! Não poderia ter pedido mais!! Adorei! Com certeza voltarei :) Também adorei a decoração, todo o mármore, o foyer e a equipe foram incríveis comigo, e a equipe do restaurante realmente cuidou muito bem de mim e das minhas sensibilidades alimentares!! Um enorme carinho a todos que cuidaram de mim e um enorme obrigado!!
