"Tive uma estadia maravilhosa no Starry Sky! O ambiente, o serviço e o quarto eram perfeitos! O piso e o quarto eram aconchegantes e acolhedores, especialmente depois de um dia frio em Siguniang. Os funcionários foram sempre muito atenciosos e se esforçaram para tornar nossa experiência ótima do começo ao fim! O serviço de WeChat facilitou muito a comunicação com eles para reservar transporte, refeições, etc. Recomendo fortemente esta hospedagem!"

"I chose this place because of its excellent location, directly opposite the entrances to Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. It's incredibly convenient if you're planning to hike either of those trails. From my room, I could directly see the queue for Changping Valley, and after a grueling hike in Haizi Valley, it was a huge relief to just cross the road and be back at the guesthouse. Compared to other establishments in this area, the room facilities were probably the best at the time of my visit (though there might be better ones now). The laundry and drying facilities were also very convenient, with commercial-grade machines. The service was quite good; whenever I had a question, the front desk staff usually provided detailed solutions and were very friendly. If you're too tired after hiking, you can also eat at the guesthouse. The food was decent, and the prices seemed comparable to nearby restaurants. I get the feeling the manager or owner is very dedicated; I always saw him in the lobby, which suggests he genuinely wants to make this place a success. I do have a few minor suggestions: the bathroom sink area lacks a countertop, so there's nowhere to put a small trash can, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, there's no splash guard behind the sink, so water easily splashes onto the nearby bed. The light switches in my room were wired incorrectly, so turning lights on or off was a guessing game every time (this might just be an issue with my specific room, and the owner could look into it). There were no bath mats, and the shower area wasn't recessed, so water easily spilled out. We had to use disposable bath towels as makeshift mats (it feels like the owner might have been short-changed during renovation here). The windows also leaked easily during rain, which over time could lead to significant water damage. I understand that running a guesthouse in a place like Siguniangshan might have its challenges, but these are just suggestions. If you're looking for a picturesque spot for photos, this place is perfect. Every day, I saw people taking photos in the lobby on my way out, and again when I returned in the evening (｡ì _ í｡). My room faced the mountain directly, and at night, the gentle sound of the stream provided a soothing white noise for sleep. Although it's by the road, there's very little traffic at night, so it's quite peaceful."

"Location: the hotel is located inside Shuangqiao valley national park. The scenic green bus will alight at the hotel so upon arrival, the bus will stop at the doorstep of the hotel or flag it to get further into the national park. The scenic bus will drive all the way towards the redwood forest which is the end point of the park, around 30-45 mins. I highly encourage to stay inside the scenic area as just a day trip will be too rush, with a few days, you get to acclimatize yourself to avoid altitude sickness and also get to explore each location properly and even trek the boardwalk between the locations instead of taking the bus. As long as you don’t exit the national park, you can still utilize your entry ticket and bus ticket. I have stayed for 3 days and was able to use the same ticket for 3 days which was very worthwhile. Service: there is a young male stuff who is very attentive. As soon as the scenic bus alighted me at the hotel, he came out to receive my bag. Also, when I had difficulties flagging the bus since some of them were already full from passengers at the entrance , he came out from the reception just to help me. Besides him, there’s a young lady (without spectacles) who has also been very helpful and friendly and has helped to stop the scenic bus for boarding. Thank you! Room View: if you are looking for a place to take a break, this will be the best place and it is very quiet and the Mountain View is just right in-front. Facilities: the room is very cosy yet big. There’s a bathtub right infront of the mountain view. Overall, it has been a great stay with a with such an amazing view. Will definitely return for a stay if there’s an opportunity."

"The whole hotel and room looks beautiful and clean. However, we had 2 issues with it. We booked a non-smoking room and upon checking in we could smell a cigarette smell. While we thought the smell would go away/ we could get used to it (we are non-smokers), the cigarette smell was really strong. We spoke to the front desk and understood that the hotel was fully booked so we could not change room but we were so gaslighted by the front desk — she came into our room & said she could not smell ANYTHING but only air fresheners smells but cmon, it was 2 people smelling the same thing and my clothes reeked of smoke smell the next day when we moved to another hotel. It’s fine that the hotel was fully booked and we could not change room but this does not mean you should flatly turn down guests and insist on 0 cigarette smell. Rather, simply acknowledging it and performing service recovery could be sufficient. Due to this, we had a really bad stay. Also, hotel was not easy to find, the Google maps location showed that the hotel was at the road side but you have to go up a slope to find it, just FYI for guests."

"Jaw-dropping mountain views set the tone for an incredibly romantic early spring stay. Waking up to snow-covered peaks outside our room felt almost unreal, and the restaurant was even more panoramic. The interiors were manicured and cosy with every space designed to frame the surrounding mountains. The amenities were luxe from the Dyson hair dryer to Havaiana flip flops and Voss water, and the complimentary arrival treats were a lovely touch (the little tea cake was delicious). Breakfast and the hot pot dinner were also great and perfect for the cold mountain weather. If you’re visiting Mt Siguniang, this is the kind of place that turns the trip into something really special rather than just somewhere to sleep. Highly recommend"

"This hotel exceeded my expectations! Even at an altitude of around 3300 meters, the diffused and nasal oxygen supply made breathing completely effortless. The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning, like a 'sky city' on the edge of a cliff with endless scenic views. There are so many great photo opportunities, often with rain, fog, and snow appearing together! 👍 After a shower in the evening, I was lucky enough to witness a double rainbow 🌈🌈 rising from the clouds in the mountains – what a thrilling and auspicious experience! The hotel service was excellent; the butler group was always responsive and communicative, making us feel very well taken care of. The in-room Bluetooth speaker was also fantastic, allowing us to enjoy pleasant music while admiring the beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds from the window. Both the hot pot and Chinese dishes were delicious, and returning from the scenic area felt just like coming home. The sunrise views were breathtaking for two consecutive days. Fantastic! 👍🌙"

"Came here to escape the summer heat with my dog, and booked a pet-friendly room with a terrace. The room was huge and the view was incredible! The window view was *half the reason I booked* (and they even had a Dyson hairdryer!! Blown away!). Originally, I just planned to stop over before heading further into western Sichuan, but it was so comfortable that I stayed an extra day! The owner was really friendly too. We mentioned we weren't going to any scenic spots, so he recommended checking out the mountains behind the property, which had amazing views. We even went mushroom picking – so much fun! In the evening, we checked which mushrooms were edible and made a soup, and it was unbelievably fragrant! I'll definitely be back for another relaxing getaway! Highly recommend!!"
