"It's unclear who came up with the idea of building a hostel inside a restaurant. The doors and walls are made of OSB, so the rooms constantly smell of food. There's always noise outside, so you can only rest when the restaurant isn't open. While hostel guests try to maintain silence during the day and especially in the evening, the restaurant and hostel staff simply don't care, and they can talk loudly until midnight. The girl who works the reception desk in the evening is incredibly stupid; she can't understand or answer even a basic question. Also, two days before my departure, I asked for an airport transfer, and even though it was 50 pesos more expensive than the tricycles outside, I agreed because I wanted to be sure they would definitely pick me up since I was booking a tricycle from the hostel. I reminded them of this request the evening before my departure; I was leaving early in the morning. In the end, no tricycle arrived; the night manager said, ”Tricycle not available.” WHAT??? I ended up having to catch a tricycle in the dark on the road because I had no idea how long it would have taken if I'd called one through an app. The hostel itself isn't bad, but the staff's lackadaisical attitude immediately lowers my rating."

"Ideal for solo travelers and couples without babies. The place is squeaky clean but there is a shared shotlet bathroom. Still very clean. It’s located next to a busy road so I couldn’t sleep all night with the tricycles passing by and there was also a baby from one of the guests that was crying but not too much. If you like sleep and you’re a light sleeper don’t go there. The location is not great cos of this."

"Location is perfect — walking distance to malls, restaurants, and many food options just outside the hotel.
Cleanliness: 3/5 — medyo hindi ganun kalinis ang room, and considering the affordable price, don’t expect too much in terms of amenities. The toilet was also a bit hard to flush.
But overall, it’s a perfect place if you’re just looking for an overnight stay and mainly for sleeping. Good value for budget travelers."

"O lugar era muito bom. Muito perto do aeroporto. O lugar é limpo. Meu filho gosta muito da piscina. O café da manhã é gratuito. Nosso único problema foi a TV. Estava funcionando no começo. Após a primeira noite, começou a perder canais e depois sinais. Não consigo mais assistir. Mas fora isso foi uma boa estadia."

"Best place to spend the night while waiting for your flight. 5 mins away from the airport via Tricycle, clean rooms and bathrooms with accommodating staff. They don’t have a wake up service but the staff made sure I’m awake for my 6AM flight."

”Our stay at the [Hotel Name] was fantastic! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to answer our questions and make our stay comfortable. OOlga ShegayНам не повезло с номером, окна выходили прямо на дорогу, движение по которой почти не прекращалось, было очень очень шумно и сильный запах бензина. С закрытыми окнами все равно было слышно проезжающие машины и трициклы.
Плюс еще шел ремонт, от которого тоже было шумно. В итоге возвращаться в отель совсем не хотелось.
Завтрак был вкусный, в ресторане при отеле, дают скидку 25%, но только на завтрак.
Перед нашим заездом в номере распылили какой то ароматизатор с резким запахом, полотенца и постельное белье тоже были с резким запахом, что вызвало у меня аллергическую реакцию на коже.
Дизайн отеля интересный, из общих зон есть вид на море.

CCris R.I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

UUsuário convidadoTivemos uma ótima estadia no Oceana Bay! O quarto era limpo, aconchegante e tem um ar condicionado perfeito. A equipe é muito simpática e prestativa, chegamos antes do horário de check-in e pudemos deixar nossa bagagem no hotel até que nosso quarto estivesse pronto. Eles nos deram bons conselhos sobre passeios de barco e em meia hora eles providenciaram um aluguel de scooter para nós. Eu definitivamente recomendaria este hotel!

LLisaLPWe stayed for five nights, booking one double room and one family room. Both rooms were sufficiently furnished, and there were tables outside that we made good use of during the day. We were also offered the use of a fridge in the common area, which we really appreciated. From what I understand, only the family rooms come with water heating.
The location is very good—tucked away in a safe, lively neighbourhood and within walking distance of both NCCC Mall and SM City Puerto Princesa Mall, where there are supermarkets and plenty of food options. We were also able to walk to several places of interest in the city, including the Boardwalk, Chinatown, the Heritage Centre, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. There’s a laundry just across the road that charges reasonable rates.
The hosts were the best part of the stay. They were family-oriented, warm, hospitable, accommodating, and very communicative. They helped organise tours at prices better than those offered on online platforms. We had a whale of a time at Honda Bay and the Underground River—both are must-experience attractions when visiting Palawan.
Highly recommended for travellers looking for a welcoming place, great hosts, and a convenient location.

MmischiefSai AestravThe Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café.
The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go.
The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan.
You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use.
I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa.
There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance.
The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location.
The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map.
So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

Красивая территория, много цветов хороший бассейн, в то же время нет насекомых. Даже вечером. У нас был большой домик ну не такой уж он большой. Очень большая ванная. Есть верёвки чтобы сушить купальник и полотенце. Постель чистая сантехника чистая. Наверное не хватало немного шкафа. Холодильника нет. Кондиционер работает хорошо. Возле домика столик стулья и гамак где можно посидеть вечером. В отеле можно заказать все экскурсии не намного дороже чем в городе. Отель в конце города,- очень удачно, и городу недалеко, и потише , и можно взять машину с доставкой в отель тогда мне нужно толкаться в пробке. Питание дороговато. Рядом есть ресторанный дворик в метрах 100 направо, практически все из отеля питались там. Там что-то вроде фудкорта. Дворик находится поодаль от дороги то есть пыль не летит. Певица в дворике в дворике- поёт твк что слышно было даже в отеле. Это минус) До полночи поёт певица, в 5:00 утра начинает петь петухи. Как-то большой домик неудачно расположен прямо возле курятника. В целом было приятно вернуться после экскурсии окунуться в чистый бассейн, посидеть в гамаке в окружении цветов и деревьев.

Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp.
The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!

El baño es otro mundo, la taza del baño no tiene la base para sentarse, por lo que es muy poco higiénico a la hora de usarlo, o eso o orinar y hacer tus necesidades sin tocar la taza.
