This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. Tivemos uma ótima estadia no Oceana Bay! O quarto era limpo, aconchegante e tem um ar condicionado perfeito. A equipe é muito simpática e prestativa, chegamos antes do horário de check-in e pudemos deixar nossa bagagem no hotel até que nosso quarto estivesse pronto. Eles nos deram bons conselhos sobre passeios de barco e em meia hora eles providenciaram um aluguel de scooter para nós. Eu definitivamente recomendaria este hotel!

I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out. The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt. There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options. The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off. I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time. Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

С закрытыми окнами все равно было слышно проезжающие машины и трициклы. Плюс еще шел ремонт, от которого тоже было шумно. В итоге возвращаться в отель совсем не хотелось. Завтрак был вкусный, в ресторане при отеле, дают скидку 25%, но только на завтрак. Перед нашим заездом в номере распылили какой то ароматизатор с резким запахом, полотенца и постельное белье тоже были с резким запахом, что вызвало у меня аллергическую реакцию на коже. Дизайн отеля интересный, из общих зон есть вид на море.

Esta foi a segunda vez que estive na Lola Itang Pension e agora no Bed & Breakfast de Lola Itang. Elei-os para a tarifa por noite de estadia e sua localização muito conveniente. O pessoal é muito útil e amigável. A sala da vila única é espaçosa e dá-lhe uma privacidade extraordinária e uma bela vista do jardim. Eles me deram a sala #1 e eu fiquei surpreso pelo que eu tenho pelo preço que paguei. É totalmente digno. We stayed for five nights, booking one double room and one family room. Both rooms were sufficiently furnished, and there were tables outside that we made good use of during the day. We were also offered the use of a fridge in the common area, which we really appreciated. From what I understand, only the family rooms come with water heating. The location is very good—tucked away in a safe, lively neighbourhood and within walking distance of both NCCC Mall and SM City Puerto Princesa Mall, where there are supermarkets and plenty of food options. We were also able to walk to several places of interest in the city, including the Boardwalk, Chinatown, the Heritage Centre, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. There’s a laundry just across the road that charges reasonable rates. The hosts were the best part of the stay. They were family-oriented, warm, hospitable, accommodating, and very communicative. They helped organise tours at prices better than those offered on online platforms. We had a whale of a time at Honda Bay and the Underground River—both are must-experience attractions when visiting Palawan. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a welcoming place, great hosts, and a convenient location.

The Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café. The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go. The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan. You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use. I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa. There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance. The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location. The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map. So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

Review for Ginto Residence in El Nido – 4/5 Stars Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp. The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet. Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!

Небольшие номера, рядом с тусовочной улицей. Такой размер, сервис и даже расположение не стоят этих денег, если говорить честно. Но в тот момент не было ни вариантов, ни выбора. Все порты были закрыты, а гостиницы распроданы и ехать было некуда. Брали на одну ночь.

La habitación se ve que es muy antigua, los colchones son de espuma, los enchufes generan poca confianza, la verdad por lo poco que se paga se podría decir que está normal, no esperes mucho. El baño es otro mundo, la taza del baño no tiene la base para sentarse, por lo que es muy poco higiénico a la hora de usarlo, o eso o orinar y hacer tus necesidades sin tocar la taza. La ducha no tiene mucha presión, por lo que si vas a ducharte es mejor que uses la llave que está debajo de la ducha y llenes un balde y te bañes con el balde de agua. La puerta del baño de las mujeres está rota por debajo, por lo que puede causar un poco de inseguridad, aunque la verdad no creo que a la gente le importe mucho.
