"Staff were helpful. The location was near the train station which is great for walking. The hostel has a large lobby and communal area for hanging out and chilling. Lots of amenities. Water is free to refill. Beds and toilets were clean and well-equipped with hair dryers. Really pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for solo travellers."

Yining Kailash Youth Hostel (Liuxing Street Branch) is a youth hostel full of travel atmosphere, located in the Liuxing Street area of Yining City. It not only provides a comfortable accommodation environment, but also strives to create a relaxed and pleasant social space for travellers from all over the world to gather, communicate and share travel stories. There is a Mabon Yongcuo cafe in the hostel, which provides a pleasant resting place for travellers to enjoy the warm time of a cup of coffee on the way.
I. Geographical location and surrounding environment
Liuxing Street is one of the neighbourhoods with a strong cultural atmosphere in Yining City. It is convenient to live around it, and you can walk to all kinds of special restaurants, snack streets and markets. In addition, the hostel is close to popular places such as Ili River Scenic Area and Hanren Street, which is convenient for tourists to explore the charm of the city.
II. Hostel environment and facilities

"O Lugar de Vida é BEM acolhedor, divertido e central para ficar perto Da Rua Liuxing!O proprietário fala inglês bem e é Muito amigável e interessante. O Amor de Viagem e a cultura dele são exibidos Ao redor do albergue com a bela decoração e a sua atmosfera, e é fácil ver que muitos Amor e pensamentos foram a este lugar. Eles me deram um café de coco gratuito que era delicioso!A sala de compartilhamento feminina era limpa e moderna, com UMA cama confortável com um pátio. Há uma cozinha pequena partilhada com frigorífico/congelador, distribuidor de água quente e coisas para cozinhar e comer (mesmo que eu não cozinhei lá). As toalhas de casas de banho compartilhadas tinham algumas toalhas e algumas estações de chuveiro - um lado para mim era as toalhas são todas toalhas de esqui e não havia papel higiénico quando estava lá, então eu tive de trazer a minha própria (talvez não a vi, não perguntei). Há espaços de vida compartilhados onde você pode sentar-se nas mesas e cadeiras, uma área de quintal exterior com um lindo jardim, uma área de sala de leitura tranquila com livros do proprietário, e uma área de telhado com tendas. "The best hostel in the city, i did 2 hostel in this city and this one is by far the best. The room is so nice with Xinjiang carpet i love it so much. The yard is big with everything as washing machine or kitchen, and a place for rest with a cute cat and a mulberry tree with free natural mulberry. The location is so nice close to the best place in Yining. All the girls at the reception are so nice and welcoming with a very good english. When i will comeback in the city i will book again this place without hesitation. I hope to see foreigners there in the future."

"This was a wonderful stay, from beginning to end.
The welcome we received at the desk made us feel at home, and the women there did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, and to help us with the small problems we had with our trip. I can't say enough about the staff.
The room was great, and the breakfast had all we could want, including some options for western tastes.
The location is great, 15 minutes from the six star area, and street food everywhere we look.
We were also allowed an extra two hours to wait for our flight.
All in all a great choice.

"This stay was absolutely fantastic! The guesthouse is newly renovated and spotlessly clean from top to bottom, truly impeccable. The overall decor is full of ethnic charm, creating an amazing atmosphere that's perfect for photos!
The courtyard is beautifully maintained and picturesque, offering a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The guesthouse is run by a lovely couple in their sixties – they're incredibly genuine, kind, warm, and gentle. The hostess is especially friendly and makes you feel right at home.
What's more, the owners are incredibly thoughtful; every morning they prepare a wonderful, heartwarming breakfast. The room is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, making for a very convenient and comfortable stay. It offers incredible value for money! I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here; the experience is superb, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

"The room is quite big, I am semi-underground, very quiet, suitable for sleeping. It is very convenient to eat nearby. The street at the door is full of pedicures. The small yard has temperature and the jujube trees in the yard are fruitful."

I chose the place for the incredible design of the place, the location within Kazankh ancient town, and the reference to Doves... I left with so much more! The owner and her husband were so helpful and brought ice coffees for me and my dad when we arrived, which was so welcome. They had local treats and fruit to try and a wonderful sense of community. They helped us arrange a driver to Qionkushtai and packed us a breakfast to go, with coffee :) Every detail has been carefully considered and it was a joy to stay at Blue Dove. I consider owner Wen to be my friend and look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend!

UUsuário convidadoThe location is good and close to Yining's sights, the facilities are good, and the room was in immaculate condition. There was no food, but the owner/manager, Lisa, had free fruit available. But best of all was the service - Lisa is an excellent host: she upgraded our room at no extra cost, helped us in many ways, found us when we got lost on our first night in Yining and took up back to the hotel, invited us to join her and some friends for a lovely evening, and to our surprise drove us to the train station.

MmiooA True Hidden Gem – The Best Stay of My Xinjiang Trip!
Out of my entire journey across Xinjiang, this homestay was by far the most memorable and heartwarming experience. The moment I stepped into the beautifully decorated home, with its stunning blue hues, traditional Uyghur details, and peaceful courtyard covered by a canopy of vines, I instantly felt at ease. It truly felt like home.
What made it even more special was the incredible hospitality. The owner was exceptionally friendly, always ready with a warm smile and willing to help with anything I needed—whether it was sharing local tips, helping with transportation, or simply chatting over tea. Their kindness made me feel not just like a guest, but like part of the family.
The attention to detail in every corner, the peaceful swing in the courtyard, and the cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you’re traveling through Xinjiang and want to experience genuine warmth and culture, this is the place to be.

LLilyDThe location is a little bit hidden in an alley, however I love how it is nestled among the local restaurants and houses, you get to see how the people live on the daily basis. Otherwise the room is clean, amenities are great too. If you are a light-sleeper, it can be a little bit noisy since it is located near houses. But overall, it is a great guesthouse if you would like a place near town as a base for your travel. The owner’s daugther though..despite my limited Mandarin, she went away and beyond to help me with literally everything from booking a bus, and communicating with a DiDi driver to mail my AirPod which I had left in the car at a different city! She arranged for it to be sent to my next location which I had book prior, ensured that the postman gave the mail to me personally by phonecall. She is one of the sweetest person I have met during my solo travel to China.

UUsuário convidado房間乾淨整潔，空間挺大，但是在路邊，噪音影響睡眠。停車方便，入住很快，房間也比較舒適，價格不貴，環境也不錯，房間乾淨，入住首選，滿意。酒店服務非常好，很熱情，服務態度特別棒，衞生很乾凈，離景區近，出入很方便，整體還是十分舒適的。
酒店乾淨寬敞明亮，設施方便，服務好的沒話説，熱情，效率高，基本有求必應，主要是房價實惠，停車免費，住的很滿意！

VVSTOverall the hotel room is clean, spacious and comfortable to sleep in. It's walking distance to the popular 六星街。The older lady staff who helped us checked in was friendly and gave us free breakfast.
However, the other younger staff didn't help much because we called up earlier to make arrangements for the hotel pick up at the bus station. We agreed to contact each other by Wechat. Unfortunately, the girls didn't accept my request on Wechat and hence we couldn't contact the hotel by the time we arrived at Yining bus station. As foreigners, we are only able to use Wechat to communicate with the locals in China. Then after staying for two nights, we needed transport to go to the railway station at 8.30am, however again the staff told us that the transport services start only at 9.00am - 9.00pm.
There are washing machines available, too.
Breakfast is good.

UUsuário convidadoThis accommodation was in an excellent location at the edge of Liuxing street area, near many restaurants and shops. It is near public transport and a main road. The host was super nice and helpful. We chatted quite a bit using translate apps since I did not speak Chinese and he didn't speak English. I booked a single room with a shared bathroom, which was very small and simple, but the host kindly upgraded me to a room with an ensuite for no extra charge. The building is old and could benefit from some renovations, but is clean and well-kept, and it has an old-fashioned charm to it with large, lovely arched windows. The rooms were very basic but sufficient, and the room with the ensuite has a good amount of space. There were nice large windows (although my view was blocked by some signs on the awning). There were curtains but light came through so I recommend bringing a sleep mask, and sound can come from outside so ear plugs also recommended. I also extended my stay for a few nights and the host was very accommodating. I was allowed to use the washing machined which the host helped me with. He also allowed me to leave my bags in the reception area after I checked out. There was wifi. There was tea/water at reception. It is great for someone on a budget. I included photos of the reception as I forgot to take photos of the other rooms. I am very grateful to the host and would stay here again.
