First time there. Construction volume imposed some on business meetings. Suite afforded additional meeting space that was needed and functional. Room was clean and w comfortable bed and nice lake view. The complimentary happy hour was enjoyed and served w a smile. Breakfast was very good and with many options to suit any appetite. The location is convenient to I-4, but the traffic did not present a sound issue for this light sleeper. Lunch at the steakhouse would have been a great option, but was not available. The lake promenade and surrounding venues were welcome respites after long days of work. We prepaid in full but at check-in the gentleman at the desk requested payment. He went into a backroom to inquire and came out w the same communication. I called my manager who spoke w the gentleman about the prepayment including, assurances there would be no problem. My manager had to leave home and drive into work on her day off to obtain details to provide to the gentleman. Around this time, Dani became available and offered to help. She quickly located the reservation, noted it was prepaid and she checked me in without any difficulty. Reason for declaring this incident is so that you can provide training required for the gentleman and whomever he was consulting in the backroom. Both were misinformed and may provide improved service w training.

Upon arrival time the service clerk was very nice and accommodating. I really appreciate that they allow me to check in a bit earlier due to my early arrival. I was really pleased to hear that the laundry was free of charge. I stayed an additional day to spend time with my grandkids. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

While the hotel’s interiors have been newly renovated and it appears inviting due to the cosmetic improvements, there are still issues galore and many repairs are still in need of completion. Our first king suite room had torn window screens and a leak developed in the bedroom ceiling during the night, causing ceiling material to start peeling and dropping on the floor. The front desk was quick to accommodate us for a room change for the second night but they offered us a handicapped unit directly adjacent to the highway. The road noise was unacceptable so we declined it for another unit. The third unit was favorably located so we took it. However, the shower in that unit wouldn’t drain properly so you had to stand in two inches of water while showering and you had to crank the hot water to the highest setting to get barely warm water. The breakfast was cold both days and the staff wasn’t on top of replenishing coffee, etc. The staff at this hotel are what warrants the 3-star review. They are friendly and welcoming and they are the only asset to the property from our perspective. But the old adage that “you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig”) really applies to this hotel. The cosmetic changes makes it appear more palatable for a stay but there are underlying issues that still require improvement.

Pleasant stay, clean hotel, helpful staff. Maybe some extra shower gel would be helpful , 1 soap bar and tiny shampoo was a bit small. I didnt like the wardrobe style toilet door. Not having ventilation or windows in the bathroom + not able to open windows in the room and having a toilet door that doesnt close completely can make things uncomfortable . Elevator was extremely slow. this is more for the visitors of the hotel : there was the tendency people just sitting at the corridors and speak loud. That was a bit annoying / not sure why someone has to be outside of his room at have a video call. Overall though was a pleasant stay. I cannot judge the location as we had a car and we were comfortable to go around where we needed.

I would like to take a moment and tell you about the best experience I've ever had a t a hotel all thanks to a young man named (Key) at the front desk. It was Friday before Memorial Day weekend and I was at home in Alabama and planned to arrive middle of the next week for work. My co worker was staying at another hotel and got a phone call saying they would not hold a few packages for him that we called and verified was ok to fed ex to their location. After looking at flights and logistically figuring out a direction to go get our packages and not ruin my holiday I decided I was gonna call the courtyard and see if they would hold my packages until I arrived. I was met with a positive attitude and a young man with the respect of a saint. I explained my dilemma and Key immediately asked me if I would hold for a second all while apologizing for the other hotels negative experience. Key came back to the phone and said he would personally go pick the boxes up and hold them at the Courtyard until I arrived. I was blown away at the work ethic and the level of customer service he provided. This is going above and beyond and treating people like you would like to be treated. This is exactly why I will always stay here in the future while in the area. I would also like to thank GM Adrianna for hiring such an amazing young man and front desk attendees Alvin, Alexa, Aubrey, Justin, and Angelo. I have been here for 5 nights for a work stay, I was at another hotel last week, here this week and need a hotel for next week business as well. I travel at least once a month and have stayed all Over the state of Florida! The room was a little smaller than I first imagined but after seeing how amazing the staff have been I forgot about the size of the room. They have been so kind ever since check in. The digital key has been such a convenience for me not worrying about losing another room key. They have attended to every detailed need and request I have sent in the Hilton Honors app. Patricia and Lina have been quick and efficient in passing along my requests in a timely fashion to my room. One morning I had to leave for work before my trash bags and items were brought to me and they left them in the room and went above and beyond to make my bed, replace supplies and towels while in the room. Every morning at breakfast everyone is tentative and cleaning and making sure everything is filled and replaced. The housekeepers actually smile and say good morning on my way to breakfast. One housekeeper saw me get off on the wrong floor one evening after work and ensure I knew where my room was. I came down with a little Illness while here and Patricia assisted to ensure I had what I needed to feel better and wished me well. I would recommend this Hampton in. A heartbeat. I also needed to extend my stay an extra night and called down to the lobby and it was taken care of with no issues instantly. Cause for a worry free stay! It is also close to tons of restaurants and I have had to no problems with food being delivered! Thank you to this amazing staff and the people who have helped train them well. Sorry I don’t know everyone’s names but the app helped me remember a few of them. I havent had a complaint yet ( which is unusual for me) so kudos to the entire team and thank you again! I stayed at this hotel during a trip between Maryland and Tampa, FL. The hotel is conveniently located just off of I-4 a little north of Orlando. The Westin Lake Mary is a large, modern hotel and is well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had Covid-protocols in place. There was plenty of free parking at the hotel. The rooms were very modern and up-to-date, including the TV, furniture, carpeting, linens and bathrooms. All supplies were well-stocked. There was a restaurant/bar just off the lobby on the main floor, along with a small marketplace to get snacks, sodas, beer, etc. Ice machines were located on each floor. Check-in and check-out was very easy. There is plenty of commercial activities around the hotel (which is the Heathrow area of Florida, and somewhat upscale), including restaurants and shopping. There was a McDonalds adjacent to the Westin which was good for a quick meal if needed. All-in-all, this is a quite exceptional and well-maintained hotel and I would highly recommend it for any stay. I have no negative comments and would say that this is a great hotel to stay at when visiting Central Florida. Well done!!!!

Upon arrival time the service clerk was very nice and accommodating. I really appreciate that they allow me to check in a bit earlier due to my early arrival. Beautiful hotel, clean, well maintained. Rooms are very spacious. Water pressure in the bathroom wasn't the greatest, but the water was good and hot. Breakfast was good, and it was nice to not have to go out to eat early in the morning. Their coffee was really good. I have a daughter who lives in Sanford and this hotel is the perfect location for me to stay and not be too far from her when I visit. I will definitely choose this hotel again. Check-in and checkout was a breeze.

I wish we were allowed to give 1/2 stars. I give this property a 4.5. While Sanford is a lovely town, with great shops and restaurants, many people stay there because they are flying in/out of SFB or using the Auto Train. This hotel is clean and has all the necessities: Guest Laundry, Ice on every floor, Business Center where you can print things out and Guest Laundry. Also, lots of chain restaurants within less than a 5 minute drive (i.e. Cracker Barrel, Texas Roadhouse, Outback). While I did not use the airport shuttle, it was sitting outside at 3:40am when I left to drive to the airport to drop off my rental car. That's a good sign. There are several Allegiant flights that leave around 6am so knowing that you can have access to a shuttle at 4am is a welcomed relief. The reason I did not give a ”5” is because the two chairs in my room were older and slightly ragged. The computer chair almost tipped over when I was sitting in it.

While the hotel’s interiors have been newly renovated and it appears inviting due to the cosmetic improvements, there are still issues galore and many repairs are still in need of completion. Our first king suite room had torn window screens and a leak developed in the bedroom ceiling during the night, causing ceiling material to start peeling and dropping on the floor. The front desk was quick to accommodate us for a room change for the second night but they offered us a handicapped unit directly adjacent to the highway. The road noise was unacceptable so we declined it for another unit. The third unit was favorably located so we took it. However, the shower in that unit wouldn’t drain properly so you had to stand in two inches of water while showering and you had to crank the hot water to the highest setting to get barely warm water. The breakfast was cold both days and the staff wasn’t on top of replenishing coffee, etc. The staff at this hotel are what warrants the 3-star review. They are friendly and welcoming and they are the only asset to the property from our perspective. But the old adage that “you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig”) really applies to this hotel. The cosmetic changes makes it appear more palatable for a stay but there are underlying issues that still require improvement.

We stayed here as we had an early flight at the airport. The hotel did not have good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised! Our room appeared to be recently remodeled. The room was very clean. It was cold and raining while we were there so we could not use the pool; but the pool was huge. I would highly recommend this hotel.
