"No geral, está ok. Segunda vez lá em 2 meses. Desta vez, reservei 3 quartos king size. Um pouco decepcionado, pois o check-in de um quarto atrasou até as 16h. Mas tive que dar crédito a eles para tentar atender a todos os pedidos. O quarto tinha alguns defeitos. Espero que eles sejam avisados sobre os danos. A vista para o rio era incrível. Mas o café da manhã tinha pouca variedade. Piscina incrível com playground ao lado da piscina."

"O hotel tem uma localização estratégica. O quarto era bom, exceto por algumas manchas no edredom. Havia um dispenser de sabonete no chuveiro, que presumimos ser de sabonete líquido (para cabelo e corpo), já que não havia rótulo nem xampu no banheiro. Não interagimos muito com os funcionários do hotel, pois passamos o dia todo fora, mas a recepcionista foi muito gentil e nos explicou sobre a Taxa de Turismo. 👍"

"A proper hotel with its own parking compund. The hotel is quite new, with sufficient facilities like swimming pool and gym area. The room is spacious and complete with the basic toiletries. The aircond was good and cleanliness of the whole room is average. The only small problem with my room was the shower area. There's some sort of blockage with the drain but overall the shower experience was good with steady strong current flow. Overall, this hotel is very well worth the price of slightly above RM100."

"The check-in process necessitates roadside parking prior to accessing the designated car park, which can lead to traffic congestion. The hotel's car park, located on levels 7 and 8, involves a rather arduous ascent.
The premises comprise four blocks; two are residential, and two are hotel accommodations managed by separate entities. The room itself is spacious, featuring two beds, and is maintained to a clean and tidy standard. While there are four lifts, their operation is slow, and a transfer is required to reach the car park. Breakfast, a makeshift buffet of local, low-quality food, was provided; however, during my three-day stay, I opted for it only once as it was largely unexceptional."

"A very new hotel with very comfortable spacious rooms and is situated within the Portuguese settlement. My visit was during Christmas time so there were a lot of celebrations going on, adding to the atmosphere.
The visitor before me used the fridge for durians, and I could not use the fridge throughout my stay due to the smell. The stamps were very polite to ask me about my visit however there were no immediate rectification or solutions provided. Maintenance will be an issue if not taken care of well."

"Hotel is very conveniently located near makuta parade and 2 other malls, especially if you are going there by coach. There is a caring pharmacy just in front and many eatries around. Our 2 bedder family room was big and spacious but the carpets might need a wash and the room feels a but mouldy but we rented an air purifier that helped. Breakfast was average. Overall a good stay."

Facilities: A mix of new and old, it's renovated, but just okay. No conditioner or lotion provided.
Service: Since we arrived from Singapore by cruise, we got to the hotel around 9 AM. We dropped off our luggage and went for a walk. It was incredibly hot, so by 12 PM, after sightseeing and eating, we returned to the hotel and asked if we could check in early. They refused... At around 1 PM, our little one really needed a nap, so we asked again and finally got a room. Sigh. Compliant with rules but not very empathetic. The service industry really needs a bit more human touch. The concierge, however, was excellent.
Environment: The swimming pool is clean, but it gets direct afternoon sun and closes exactly at 7 PM. Breakfast is good, but if you absolutely need Chinese food, you might consider skipping it and heading to the tea restaurant about 15 meters to the left of the hotel entrance, which is a better option. One side of the hotel faces the sea, and the other faces the Malacca River bay, both are nice views.

The parking is easy for me coz the parking there is easy to see ppl out and park. The toilet is super duper clean, and the. sleeping area is so quiet, everyone there is mature adult, there try to keep the most quiet they can in the sleeping area. Common area really feel warm and cozy. There have 2 cats there is very fluffy and watch TV and gaming area. It is really a place worth to stay, will come back again if visit thai place again.

EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups.
The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient.
Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot.
Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.
One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times.
Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

The walls aren't soundproof however during my stay it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I'd definitely choose this hotel again.

CCaren 鎂晴Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning.
1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use.
2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical.
3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom.
4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved.
5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night.
6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating.
7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup.
On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved.
The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient.
Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations.

The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. OOMAR AL-ATTASThe biggest win for this hotel is definitely its location on Jalan Tukang Besi — super close to Jonker Walk and all the tourist hotspots around the area. Location-wise, it’s really great. The only thing is the hotel can be a bit confusing to find because there’s no signage for “Melaka Oracle Bookstore.” On the map and on the building facade, there’s only Chinese writing, so it took me a moment to be sure I was at the right place. I’m also not sure if the owner is Malaysian because they spoke Mandarin, but they can communicate in English, and both the owner and staff were friendly.
Along this lane, you’ll also find a few shops that rent Nyonya kebaya and batik shirts, and Masjid Kampung Kling is just a few meters away. To get to the rooms upstairs, you’ll need an access card, and the room door uses a physical key. The room itself is fairly clean, with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The aircond is cold, there’s a wall fan, a water heater, and free WiFi. There were no drinking glasses in the room, but you can refill water from the filtered water machine outside. They also have a pantry area and a washing machine, though I didn’t see an iron board — probably need to ask the staff. Mosquito coils were provided, but thankfully, there were no mosquitoes in my room.
However, there are a few things that could be improved. There was no blanket provided, which should be basic. I also noticed some plaster bagworms on the ceiling and walls — these should be cleaned because they can bite and leave marks. The toilet paper roll should be new, not a leftover one. The water pressure is quite low, so showering didn’t feel very satisfying. And the leftover mosquito coil ash should be cleaned before a new guest checks in. The toilet could also be cleaned more thoroughly — no stray hairs on the floor and no stains on the bowl.
Overall, the hotel is decent and perfectly okay for a stay. The facilities match the affordable price, and if you’re not as fussy as I am, you’ll probably be fine. There’s also a cute cat mural outside the building. The place has a rustic but charming vibe — definitely has room to improve, but still a pleasant stay.

UUsuário convidadoView from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.

UUsuário convidadoThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.
