"It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!"

"The staffs are elderly uncles and aunties, they are super friendly, we communicate with them with simple japanese, and they can communicate with us with some english too. The room has really nice sea view, it is big and wide, with very comfortable futon in the middle of the room. The shower came with bath tub. The hotel also has free family private onsen that can be use as long as no one is using it, managed to use it on the two night we stayed there, very comfortable and relaxing. Besides that, the hotel also has private onsen with sea view to be rented. We drove rental car there, the hotel has private car park nearby to park the car."

In the room there are towels, yukata robes, some hygiene supplies except teeth brushes because the hotel tries to reduce plastic wastes. The hotel gifted a set for face and tea for a booking on a particular website. The hotel approximately in 10 mins from train station, and close to the sea."

We booked a Japanese-style suite in the main building with a great view. The hotel has many free facilities that you can check on the map and experience one by one. The hot spring facility next door has an open-air bath. Soaking in the hot springs by the moonlit sea at night was very relaxing, with the constant sound of the waves. The breakfast included sashimi and various snacks, which was quite rich, but the selection was almost identical for two consecutive days. I'm giving three stars for service, specifically for the front desk. This hotel has quite a few Indian staff members. So why only three stars? The 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the hotel all have scenic ocean view rooms, but Chinese guests are always assigned to the 5th floor or rooms near the elevator. Having stayed at many hotels, I can sense the subtle discrimination and differential treatment here. If the price booked through Ctrip is lower than what Japanese tourists pay, then disregard my comment. Finally, this hotel is very family-friendly, perfect for those with children. If you prefer quiet, a hotel of this size won't be quiet at all; you should choose a smaller onsen ryokan instead."

"O hotel é um hotel de estilo tradicional, mas a decoração é um pouco velho em comparação com as fotos do site oficial, embora eu acredite que foi renovado. O hotel estava bem e não parecia limpo devido à antiga renovação. O banheiro no quarto tinha um Mau cheiro."

"A simple hotel but it has everything you need. Definitely better to stay here than in a guest house that you share with others or a small cramped capsule if you are solo travelling. The room itself was very spacious. If I come back to Ito, I will book here again."
