The number one aspect that sets Hinodeya apart is the hospitality and wholesomeness of the experience. Hinodeya is not limited to just a room that you sleep in. Rather, every aspect of our stay in Ito was intertwined with the wonderful owner and thoughtful staff. From our arrival to departure, our experience was nothing but pleasant. The breakfast provides undeniable value, you get so much compared to what you pay for. For dinner, we recommend the crab dinner, though it may be seasonal, but you get a taste of a majority of the local specialties all in one sitting. The owner of Hinodeya truly cares about your experience, and is an excellent resource when exploring Ito. The staff are compassionate and attentive, checking in constantly throughout our stay to make sure we were having a good time. The rooms are very clean, and the onsen is a one-of-a-kind experience not found anywhere else.

The hosts were super friendly and welcomed in front of the alley to the hostel. They were kind and answering messages quickly. The hostel is located near the JR station so it was convenient. The neighbourhood is a small town; and not many restaurants or tourist spots located so I enjoyed the quiet night. The restaurants that the hosts recommended were Chuka food restaurant; Taiwan style foods were super cheap and delicious. I was travelling to Ito city but I felt that staying at a hostel one station from Ito Station was an excellent choice. I was heard that people mostly book from Airbnb app, and I am the trip.com user. Hope a lot more people can see this and book this warm welcoming hostel.

A simple hotel but it has everything you need. Definitely better to stay here than in a guest house that you share with others or a small cramped capsule if you are solo travelling. The room itself was very spacious. If I come back to Ito, I will book here again.

I booked this place within walking distance of the sea to take a bath. The room was able to stay up to 4 people. It seemed to have been renovated by Hiro 々, but the handle of the washroom door was an old type and I didn't know how to open it, so it took a lot of time to open and close. It's a part that can't be helped because it's a facility in the mountains, but I was surprised when a lot of large cockroaches, stink bugs, and spiders came out of the room and cockroaches crawled on my arm during sleep. There was also a dead beetle on the basket where the dining cutlery was placed, and although I understood it with my head that it had no choice but to do it environmentally, I couldn't help but worry about it. I contacted the hotel about amenities before check-in, but there was an answer that there was no information about amenities, and it was meaningless to inquire. Basic shampoo, conditioner, face wash and body soap were placed in a shared bath, and hair dryers were also prepared. However, the air volume was too weak to dry at all. There was also a large and medium size towel, a toothbrush (no toothpaste), and a razor in the room. The store where you can buy food around the hotel is located at Kawana station (20 o'clock) It was a 7-Eleven that took about 25 minutes on foot. The road to the hotel was a steep slope, and the downhill and climbing were so breathtaking. It seems that it will be difficult to reach unless you are healthy. The hotel location is near the zoo with free parking . We have reserved a room with giraffe theme . Kids friendly. How ever , the staff is poor in English . And not helpful and kind . They turnoff the light without information when a kids playing inside the playhouse . It turn out my kid fall down and get hurt .
