"Staying with friend and rang and email saying wanted Twin or two beds.  Ended up with a large double. No bar or restaurant as advertised on your website. Very dissappointed. Bed was very comfortable though and so was the room. Perfect location to spot the hot air balloons which is why I picked this hotel so very pleased."

"The good things about the hotel were its location. Close to restaurants, a famous Banksy or two, lots of shops and theatres. Is a beautiful hotel with nice places to sit and meet if you are in a group. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The car park, despite being £17 per night, was actually better value than other options nearby and we were able to leave the car there until midnight on the day of check out. The negatives were that we were not able to get a reservation in the hotel restaurant which we found unusual. We had a group from 8 to 80 so we were worried about walking yet had no choice as they couldn’t fit us in. They were also impossible to contact as they didn’t reply to messages. There was chaos at check in with guests waiting for up to an hour to check in and get their keys. There were long queues for over two hours from 3pm to at least 5pm. Their excuse was that the hotel was fully booked but it’s not as though they didn’t know all those people were coming! They should have been prepared and there were a lot of unhappy customers that Saturday evening. Some front desk staff were flustered and sorry but couldn’t do anything about it and some didn’t seem to care. We were there a bit earlier so they could have got the process started but they wouldn’t so we had to queue twice. We were quite fed up. Even after all that and me paying £68 for 4 cars I had to keep repeating that I had already paid that and the next day. Something in the system needs to change as it’s frustrating to spend 2 hours checking in when you are only staying for 1 night. Perhaps if they are expecting so many people again they could put out tea and coffee in the tea lounge with a screen to enter and pay for your car and then have some kind of ticket system where you are called to the desk when it’s your turn. It certainly needs better management as it’s not the welcome you expect when you’ve paid to stay in the Marriott brand."

"Environment: The hotel is in a good location, and it is very convenient to walk, take the bus, go to the supermarket, and eat Facilities: The room is relatively large, the bathroom is spacious, and two bottles of water are provided every day, as well as tea and coffee You must stay in a high-rise room when staying here, definitely. We were given the 5th floor at first, and the room was small and dark. By the way, the lack of lights in the room is a small problem. Living in a high-rise not only has a good view of the church and the Ferris wheel, but the key is that it is very bright. I stayed there for seven days and was satisfied when I moved to a high-rise room"

"The hotel is really well situated for access to bristol cathedral, park street and Baldwin and corn streets, all of which are home to a plethora of restaurants and pubs. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, the mattress comfy and the tv was a decent size. We enjoyed our stay there and would gladly do so again."

"Very comfortable hotel right at the canals. Very close to a major restaurant and club area so a bit loud in the evening but windows are well insulated. Comfortable bed and well maintained bathroom. Staff was friendly. There is a large parking garage next to the hotel and 24 hour parking, when paid at the hotel, is £18."

"Very lovely hotel and good location for commuters. Price is also reasonable and staff are friendl. The two things I found was not very well explained or covered in the website are 1. car park - you have to pay extra £5 during check in to cover the parking fee Even so, there was no car parking spaces. I would've expect this to be included in the price or documented somewhere so that people know what to expect. 2. There is no WiFi on some part of the hotel. I spoke to staff to ask for wifi access due to poor network around the hotel. I was told the wifi was damaged by thunder. I was gobsmacked, couldn't believe it. I genuinely thought he was joking until he said it happened few weeks ago and still not fixed by BT. So I stayed the whole time with no wifi, I had to walk around to get a good network on my phone to contact people or access my email/ whatsapp. Although the stay went well, these are key things that play a crucial part of staying in a hotel. Both of these let the hotel down."

"The rooms were lovely ,nice and clean ,the beds were very hard but it was OK for 2 night.air con in rooms witch is really nice in this weather . The hotel is a really posh hotel ,the reception and bar is a very smart looking place ,the staff are lovely and polite."

Muito agradável surpreendido por este hotel.A sala estava limpa, espaçosa e tinha muitas instalações.A casa de banho também estava bem pensada com um chuveiro muito incomum.Sente-se capaz de bater de volta e relaxar imediatamente. Todos OS funcionários eram muito profissionais, ajudantes e cortês.  Gostaria de ter experimentado o restaurante, porque o pequeno-almoço era muito bom."
