"We celebrated my wife’s birthday over the weekend. Their hospitality was amazing. They’ve upgraded our room and decorated it for the occasion. They’ll provide us with all the info they have and try to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They will frequently check in with us on the food quality and how is the stay etc. We really appreciate their hospitality and services provided. There is quite a fair bit of food choices available at Port 19 (local and western). The food we have ordered are good and delicious. Despite the resort is at its soft opening, there is quite a fair bit of activities that you can do here. For example, there are pools, gym, fitness studio for yoga, bicycle riding, pool table, darts, kids' activities rooms and outdoor playgrounds. There will be more facilities opening up soon like the spa and beach clubhouse in the coming months."

"Was here for a company retreat. Location is really far from anything else, but I kinda like it this way. Its a double storey room, with a living area and a private pool on the first floor and the bedroom on the second. Bathroom area is huge, there is some smell at the shower area, think its the drainage issue, and the sick is a lottle rusty. But the wonderful and friendly staff of the resort make all these small imperfection, perfect! Good job to the team! Oh, i was surprise by the breakfast spread 😃 quite a good spread of local and western choices that i kinda overeat 🤣. And credit to the chef too! I had lunch and dinner at Azura, food taste good! Recommend for family and friends gatherings."

UUsuário convidadoThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

VVivan LimOs funcionários foram simpáticos e sorridentes. Nos ofereceram um upgrade para uma suíte, o que apreciamos muito. Mencionei que a estadia era para o aniversário do meu filho e fomos recebidos com uma bela decoração e um bolo, que ele adorou. O Clube Infantil é bem pequeno. A variedade do café da manhã poderia ser melhorada e o restaurante estava desconfortavelmente quente, com algumas moscas voando por perto. A massagem no spa foi boa e nos serviram um delicioso bule de chá com iogurte e frutas após o tratamento.

UUsuário convidadoIt was a great stay for us. Sea view chalet is nice and comfortable for me and my husband. Unobstructed view for the sea is my favourite. Room service was good and staffs were friendly and always greet us with smiling face. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate our meals at the resort’s restaurants. Breakfast was included in our booking and food served at the breakfast was good but nothing special to mention. We had our lunch and dinner at the Spice and the Kelong seafood restaurant. I will say the food varieties is limited and pricey. I will say it is more expensive than Singapore (one of the most expensive city in asia). For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.

We requested for early checkin as the ferry disembarked at close to 12pm. The concierge told us it was subjected to availability. They will try to clean up room quickly. We waited close to 3hrs, 15mins before official check in time to get the room.
But we noticed neighboring units were empty.. and due to low occupancy, the breakfast was ala-carte instead of buffet.

UUsuário convidadoThis is my second time staying in Aston. The service is impeccable and the staff are the most friendliest and helpful people. The rooms are kept clean daily with fresh towels always available. The restaurant is cosy with really good variety of both western and delicious Indonesian traditional food.
The hotel’s location is just a stone’s throw away from lots of eateries and restaurants, museums and tourist spots.
The swimming pool has a children’s pool and mini water park. Great for families with young children.
The adult pool is always clean and big enough for a good workout.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come again.

MMayer ChanO check-in foi rápido e fácil. Os quartos já estavam com uma temperatura extremamente baixa, de 16°C, com o cartão inserido no sistema. Muito apreciado devido ao calor intenso.
A piscina era pequena. Mais para relaxar do que para nadar.
A academia era pequena. Fechada com vidro e com a parte superior aberta, o que a tornava muito quente e úmida. A esteira era péssima. Era mais parecida com uma esteira doméstica do que com as que normalmente encontramos em hotéis.
Meu grupo de 14 adultos decidiu jantar no café/restaurante. O cardápio era limitado, mas suficiente para experimentarmos a culinária local. Infelizmente, a comida demorou muito e chegou aos poucos, ou seja, um prato chegava depois de 10 a 15 minutos de espera. Imagine 14 adultos pedindo vários pratos e bebidas? Devemos ter pedido mais de 30 pratos, sem contar as bebidas. Só nos últimos 20 minutos do jantar é que vários pratos saíram da cozinha ao mesmo tempo. A equipe definitivamente não estava preparada para lidar com tantos pedidos à noite. Alguns pratos, como o satay, estavam frios. Outros pratos também estavam faltando. Uma verdadeira decepção.
Os garçons foram simpáticos e pacientes.
O café da manhã estava muito melhor. Muitas opções e pratos variados.
Este hotel parece ser uma escolha popular entre os chineses. O hotel inteiro estava lotado deles durante o café da manhã.

The only issue is that the General Manager or someone from senior management (Mr R - didn't catch his full name) who appeared on the last day should have better communication with the staff at reception - what the reception informed us on the first day when we double checked on some additional charges (staff said no charge) is totally different from what he insisted on the last day of our stay (he said got additional charge).

JJeslyn WoonThe pod at Anmon looked nicer, but it was on the pricier side. The villa we stayed in wasn’t bad, but definitely worn down—some spots weren’t painted well, the toilet sink clogged, and there was this weird smell in the room. The service was great and location is alright since you pretty much need to travel around with a car anyways

Hari itu saya kehilangan tas saya. Terima kasih banyak kepada kedua staf hotel yang telah menjaga tas saya. Di dalam tas ada paspor, kartu bank, dan banyak uang tunai. Mereka menjaganya selama tiga jam. Jika tas saya hilang, saya bahkan tidak bisa kembali ke Tiongkok. Terima kasih kepada kedua karyawan yang jujur ini. Ini adalah perjalanan paling beruntung yang pernah saya alami.
