Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

It is a wonderful option to stay in Guangzhou. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is located a few meters from the pedestrian street and that gives it a privileged location to move around on foot. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

The hotel service staff are very helpful in making sure your stay there is as if it is your home. Especially the concierge area, willing to go an extra mile to ensure everything is as planned. I would still be using this hotel on my next trip to Guangzhou

First of all, I would like to praise all the service staff, especially the duty manager Peter, who communicated with me about the housing needs before my mother and I checked in, fully understood the core needs of the residents, and made arrangements that moved the customers. It was very considerate. The hotel has a great location and the decoration is elegant and dignified. We are traveling. The station in front of the hotel is connected in all directions. We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. There are plenty of USB charging sockets in the room, which is convenient and user-friendly. There is PILLOW MENU where you can choose the pillow that suits you. The housekeeping staff even found out that I drink coffee every day, so they put some extra coffee capsules in the bag so that I could drink it with peace of mind😀 Although the hotel's catering is not yet complete, the scenery is almost non-existent, and the young service staff's response is a bit ****y. But you can feel the attitude of the other party trying to provide good service. In addition, the old central location just across the road from Beiyuan Restaurant can definitely be a reason to stay here again next time.

Front desk receptionists are polite and helpful. Hotel lobby has a self service coffee and tea machine. Hotel is located about 50 meters away from Caihongciao metro station through either exit gates A or D. Needs to cross a pedestrian road and a side lane to reach the hotel. Hotel room is clean but slightly small. Near to shops and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay in Yizhi! The location itself is worth every penny, we could just walk across the street for the metro and also venturing to the famous XiHua street for all local delicacies! The only regret is, we didnt extend our GuangZhou days to stay longer. This would be my first choice hotel on my next visit!

This time I chose this hotel for a two-day weekend trip with my kids. It’s really the right place. All the delicious food, drinks and fun things nearby are gathered in this business district. If you have enough time and really want to play for two more days, there are beautiful scenery along the way. I recommend it to you. For friends traveling with children, the room is clean and comfortable!

This is the second time I have booked this hotel, and I am not disappointed at all. It is the Guangxi office in Guangzhou, and all the equipment and environment are very good. Cheaper than other hotels with similar conditions, very cost-effective. The experience was good. This time the room also had wooden floors. The washbasin in the bathroom was two meters long and was very comfortable.

Hands down the best hotel one can find at this price range, I booked for two days but ended up extended another two. Here is the list of things I truly appreciate: Attention to details : from coffee (I love their Yunnan coffee! to comfortable disposable slippers to awesome pillows , marvellous TV wallpaper) Technology : Xiaodu voice controlling of light, TV and curtains - I can't get enough talking to xiaoduxiaodu :D Location: just outside of xihua lu where u get best food in Guangzhou Shower: Great shampoo and shower gel and super good water pressure! The location is good and the transportation is convenient. You can get to the subway station in a few minutes. We chose the hotel to go to the Guangzhou Zoo. There is a free parking lot, which can be exempted until 2 pm. If you exceed , you have to pay more. You have saved a lot of parking fees. Self-service The breakfast was better than expected. Overall, the price/performance ratio is quite high. The overall hotel environment is also good.

I went to Guangzhou on business and chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is near the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and has its own small parking lot, which costs 40 yuan/24 hours. The room I stayed in was not big, but the hygiene was good. The room lighting and bed curtains were all one-button electronically controlled. The bed is very comfortable, a thumbs up. The front desk service attitude is very good, warm and polite. I will stay here again next time I come. After exiting the hotel, turn right and then turn right again. There is a Xidianhui Tea Restaurant about 200 meters away. The morning tea is very good. Locals dine there. Those who want to experience the local morning tea culture can go there.

The rooms are fully equipped, very different from some express business hotels. The room facilities are new, the bedding is comfortable, and the overall value for money is excellent. The sound insulation is very poor. I met the best hotel person and the landlord feedback the problem. She immediately solved the problem. She knocked on the door on duty. She slept for about two hours to go to the exam. The room was large and well-equipped. Otherwise, it was really good.

It must be noted that the hotel seemed to have not fully applied for the documents required to receive people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, so I was unable to check in on the first day. However, the hotel resolved the matter on the second day, so I checked in on the second day. Checked into this hotel starting the next day. The room is large and the receptionist is very nice. There are sofas and projectors for watching movies in the room, as well as chairs for gaming. The disadvantage is that the toilet does not separate wet and dry areas, making it very inconvenient to take a shower, and the hygiene is a bit poor. Although the stains are mainly old stains, the hygiene is still very bad in appearance.
